It’s been a journey and we’re almost at the finish line (somewhat). All of the long days, early mornings (weekends included), and tired evenings are coming to a halt in a few months. Our son was injured this time last year and couldn’t compete in baseball nor track & field. He quickly fell off the radar of some colleges and coaches so we took it upon ourselves to take the initiative to start researching schools that had the career path our son is passionate about. If your child is a student-athlete, be sure to always reiterate the significance of keeping up their grades. Thank God that our son has been on the All-Academic list for baseball and track for consecutive years. His GPA is 6.0 weighted and 4.0 unweighted. He gets to chose where he wants to go as a result. Here’s a list of universities he’s been accepted based on academics(Major - Architecture). Now that he’s healthy and back at it ⚾️🥇we’re excited to see what’s next. Please send up a quick prayer as he leaves for an indoor track meet at @texastechtf tomorrow.🙏🏾 *Tuskegee University University of Houston Prairie View University Tennessee State University North Carolina A&T University *allowed to play 2 sports as a dual sport athlete (at Houston, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CnmUZn2uqdy/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
