Bob Mould Band rocked the O2 in Birmingham last Friday. It's hard to find a more intense and tighter three-piece than this. Sandy Denny is my all time favourite singer. This is an amazing book. Extremely well researched. It's about her the life and times from the early '60s London folk clubs singing with The Strawbs, fronting the Fairport Convention and joining Fotheringay before going into a solo career which failed and took her on a downward spiral through alcohol and drug abuse up to her tragic death in April 1978.
