Divinity II Dragon knight saga first 2-5 hours of the game
So much of the game is as I remembered but slightly laggy any way lets cut to the chase. You start off in a little tutorial town that lets learn a bit about the game and where you stand in it. This part is fairly straight forward so I won't waste your time with the details.
Mind Reading and you: It's always worth the experience cost to mind read. Even if you meet someone who says nothing useful don't fret just always do it. You get useful hints and sometimes free skill ups and treasure just from mind reading. If the EXP cost really bothers you then put some points into it so it doesn't cost as much.
When you die its not your fault: Dieing is very easy in this game since its hard to come by decent armor, weapons on the other hand are easy to find. My tip to you is to is to always use the weapon with the most damage output even if it isn't your most favorite thing in the world. The only way to win against your enemies is to be acrobatic and kill them before they get the chance to kill you. ie doing a shit ton of damage before they can hurt you too much. Especially when fighting crowds.
Maxos temple puzzle solving: A majority of the puzzles are easy but there are two that may confuse some players. The first being the test where you walk and to a room that has perfect symmetry. You have to interact with the object that stands out which in this case is a little cup that you should see on your left as you walk to the middle of the room. The other is the maze which comprises of four rooms. when you get to the maze you will talk to some crazy bitch who has stitches all over her body and a freaky lisp. If you followed my tip earlier and read her mind you find out that not all the walls are as the appear. Open your map and you will notice two rooms with a faded square next to them. These are rooms that you can access by pressing a little protruding block on the wall before the hidden room. Both rooms contain a switch that you can activate to unlock the gate that is the exit for the maze.
Amdusias and the Dragon bullshit: You will find that in order to progress that you must first kill Amdusias. But its basicly impossible because he is in dragon form. Your only chance of defeating him is to find a book called the orobas arcero part I and II. though part II won't say so in your inventory. Part I is located in a small chamber that looks like it has nothing except a book on a bookshelf that says dragon lore. If we have learned anything not all is as it appears. Interact with the book it opens a wall leading to a secret room in it you will find a phial of amdusias' blood and and a key. run back into the foyer of the chamber and under the stairs you will find a locked chest. open it and you shall find part I. Head back to the librarian and exchange the book for part II. it will tell you that you need some dragon scales for the spell reversal. you must run into the chamber of Dragon amdusias and survive his hostile fireballs until you reach the halfway mark on the bridge in which you will find dragon scales laying on the ground for you ripe for the picking. I suggest that you run back out of the chamber since he can't follow you and use the book to perform the incantation. Amdusias will then become human and become killiable, he is still a tough opponent so make sure you heal up before you deal with him.
