Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas.

"Talk at the top of your voice and no one pays the slightest heed, not even those standing right next to you: no one seems to hear even a word. But let two people start whispering! Those all around prick up their ears, keen and curious to find out what's going on. Sometimes the news of great upheavals lies buried in whispered conversations, just as tall trees lie hidden in tiny seeds."

Calming allows us to rest, and resting is a precondition for healing. When animals in the forest get wounded, they find a place to lie down, and they rest completely for many days. They don’t think about food or anything else. They just rest, and they get the healing they need.
When we human get sick, we worry. We look for doctors and medicines, but we don’t stop. Even when we go to the beaches or the mountains for vacation, we don’t rest, and we come back home more tired than before. We have to learn to rest. Lying down is not the only position for resting.

There’s an interdependence between flowers and bees. Where there are no flowers there are no bees, and where there are no bees, there are no flowers. They are really one organism. And so in the same way, everything in nature depends on everything else.

There are always two parties, the party of the Past and the party of the Future: the Establishment and the Movement.
