Jen was now overdue… And getting more uncomfortable everyday. Colin had no idea what to do, reading all the ways to try and induce labor but none of them seemed to be doing the trick. He was anxious and nervous about becoming a father but he was now more concerned about Jen’s comfort. This pregnancy wasn’t exactly planned but he couldn’t imagine having a baby with anyone else. How beautifully and gracefully Jen carried their child made him fall even more in love with her. One morning, he came back from an errand he felt like he had to run to find Jen standing in the kitchen. He smiled, walked up behind her, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. “Morning, love… I bought something for you,” he said before taking a breath. Slipping his hand into his pocket, he brought out the ring he just bought and moved his hand around her body to hold it in front of her. @jmorrison

Jennifer couldn’t wait to finally get this baby out. At one time, nothing seemed scarier than the actual child birth, but now she would give anything to just have it happen. “Alright, baby. Listen. We need to talk. I will make you whatever you want for dinner if you just come out. I get it. The world is scary. I wouldn’t want to come out either, but you have the best dad and I promise we will make the world less scary. So... get out!” Jennifer said, talking to herself as she made herself some tea. She smiled when she felt someone come up behind her and hug her from behind. “Good morning, handsome,” Jen said, raising her eyebrows when he said he bought her something. A small gasp came from her lips when she saw the ring. “Colin! What is this??” she said, turning to face him.
