Gilt wood ornamental with flamboyant rococo scrollwork and rocaille framing an early piece of mirror glass. Old mirror like this was produced with an amalgam of silver and mercury, and exposure to damp makes it go grey and patchy.

French artist Nathalie Lété spent the quarantine painting her whole house.
Look at the doors. She even did the floors.
This is so cheerful, though.
Furniture, too.
I’m not sure if this is the living room or the studio but I love it.
What an amazing kitchen!
Painting kitchen tiles.
The upstairs hall.
I like the painted headboard.
I like the tiles, but not the walls and the gold, so much.
Cute guest room in the attic. Very productive quarantine.

Not that this is wrong, necessarily (there are varying definitions of concentration camp), but the current tally by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) is over 20,000 different locations used by the Nazis for slave labor and the holding of political prisoners.
