Love Of My Life
Love of my life, don’t leave me
You’ve taken my love, and now desert me
“Okay, okay, listen to this part, this is the best part! Are you listening?”
“I’m listening” you giggled.
You could only smile as Eddie got up from his bed and walked over to the record player to turn the volume up.
“Fuck! Are you hearing this? This is why they are geniuses!” he said, grabbing his guitar and playing along to the riff of Van Halen’s ‘Hot For Teacher’. You couldn’t help but laugh as he jumped on the bed, playing and singing along to the song until it ended.
“Eddie!” you said between laughs. “Stop it, you’re going to hurt yourself” you said, sitting up as he landed on his knees in front of you.
“So? What do you think?” he asked as the song died down. “Do you like them? Do you love them? Are they the best band you have ever heard?”
“It was okay” you smiled, instantly dropping the smirk off his face.
“Excuse me?” he said, removing his guitar and placing it back in its place before returning to you. “Okay?”
“Yeah, I liked it. It was a good song” you repeated.
“Wait, that’s it?”
“What do you mean that’s it? I’m telling you I liked it” you asked, confused.
“Alright, you are lucky that you’re beautiful because if anybody else said that Van Halen is just okay” he mocked your voice and you rolled your eyes, laughing. “I would seriously punch them in the face-!”
“Hey!” you punched his shoulder playfully and he sat next to you with his back against the headboard and his arms crossed in front of his chest. “I didn’t say I didn’t like it” you argued.
“No. You just said it was okay. You might as well tell me you hate me while you’re at it!”
“Eddie, stop being so dramatic” you laughed pulling him and giving him a peck on the lips. “Fine, Eddie Van Halen is one of the best-”
“No. He is the best guitarist of our time!”
“Fine! He is the best guitarist of our time” you rolled your eyes. “And I liked the song and I like the band” you assured him. “And that his name is the same as yours” you smiled.
“Really?”
“Yes, because I like you and you like them so I do too” you assured him.
“No! I don’t want you to like them because I do. I want you to like them because you want to like them” he insisted.
“What’s the difference? I’m saying I like them” you argued. “Would you stop pouting?” you laughed, giving him a peck on the lips.

Character Pairing: Tony Stark x F!Reader, Tony Stark x Pepper Potts (No cheating - relationships happen at different times)
Rating: E
Word Count: 2267
Warnings: hospitals and canon violence
Synopsis: Tony Stark’s life is going off the rails. He feels alone, misunderstood, and running on empty. No fuel, no battery life, no signal. If he could just find one last bar he might be okay. He pulls into the parking lot of Fin, a dive-bar with no discernible location. It could be the last bar he goes into.
Chapter 6
Tony did his very best to try not to need you. He stopped wallowing in self-pity about what happened with the team. Yes, it sucked. Yes, he wished it had gone differently. He couldn’t change the past though. He could only make the best of what he had now. He made things right with Pepper and began working more as the director of the Avengers and not as much as an active field combatant. Not that Iron Man wouldn’t be there, it was just that he tended to pilot the suits remotely now. He developed a new suit that worked on nanotech so he could keep it on him at all times so that he’d never be stuck or lost again. He was doing more charity work and spending more time with the people he loved most, and very gradually he started to realize he wanted to settle down and start a family. There was more out there for him than just Avenging.

Finding serendipity in your shared trauma. When opportunity comes to bring back those who are lost comes with the risk of more loss for you both. Is it worth taking the risk?
Chapter 31
The sound of joyful screams and laughter blended with the carnival music, wafting around the beachside amusement park along with the smells of fried foods and cotton candy. It was the day of the festival that was being held for all the families of children who had been left behind before the blip. It was an event that you had worked hard to organize in the hopes that the newly blended families could see they weren’t alone. You wanted them to see that the world was different now and that different could be good. You wanted to celebrate these new families and how they had adapted to the world.
No I don't want it to be over 😭 I'm going to miss this story so much ❤️ I'm so happy for them and I'm so happy for bucky. He has such a big family he can get to know, I'm glad everything worked out for everyone
You probably already answered this at some point but is legacy finished?
No it's not sadly, originally I planned to follow all the marvel movies that I could include the main character in but I just haven't found the time or motivation to write. I'm pretty busy with work so it's difficult to find time. I hope to start writing the story again and if I do it will resume with Captain America the Winter Soldier.

Chapter 28
Resilient. It was probably the word that best described you. Change hurt and sometimes it felt like you were broken and there was no way you would ever really be happy again. Then slowly those happy moments returned and became more common until they outweighed the grief and the sadness and stress you were carrying, and you could once again say you had a happy life. That life - and the happiness that surrounded it might be completely different to the one that came before, but it was happiness. You might break, but you were always able to pull yourself back together and find something new.
This new life was strange in so many ways. Your closest friend lived in a two-bedroom annex you’d built in your backyard with Jacob, a boy you both considered a son. You lived in the house with your husband and his boyfriend - a man you were quickly starting to think of as your boyfriend too, and your daughter Alice. Your oldest son Ryan was away at college, and your other daughter Isabella was gone, taken by her biological parents. It was a strange family setup where their links of biology were rare with only you and Alice, and Callie and Jacob sharing them, and where there seemed to be far too many parents than you’d normally find. Yet, while you still missed Bella and grieved for her every day, you had found happiness again.
They're finally going to let Bella see them, I'm so happy 😭 I love how things are going with Callie and Jacob, she doesn't want to take Jacob away from them and they're giving them a space to get their mother son relationship back ❤️ things will only get better from here
No Andy didn't do it, he wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that when there's a chance that his disney princess wife could possibly get hurt from retaliation. That's not me saying that you need to put them in danger to prove that they're innocent. Please don't 🥺 and didn't ransom assume it was her lousy ex who started the fire? I say let's not rule him out
Buttttt is Colin really a lousy ex? He was just an innocent bystander and really got fucked over in that whole situation, no? 🤔
You were practically buzzing with excitement as you turned the phone in your hands, a smile warming your face. You took a look at the screen, nibbling on your lip, barely aware of the car stopping.
“Ma’am.”
Your head shot up and you looked out of the window to see the skyscraper, then pushed your phone into your purse and unbuckled your seatbelt.
If there was a life or death situation where Lee had to choose between y/n and the children, I know he's choosing y/n. But if she was screaming at him to save the children and not her would he listen or still just save y/n?
I mean. Not to sound like an asshole, but you can make more kids. Cant re-make the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. So I kinda understand why he would y/n and not the kids 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Summary: You and Bucky were meant to be together but when you break up what is he willing to do to get you back.
A/N: After so much procrastination I finally wrote something. This is my submission to @saiyanprincessswanie writing challenge with the quote “ I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once-in-a-lifetime love.” I also used 2 episodes from A Different World as inspiration for this story and used lines from those episodes towards the end. Thank you to @mo320 and @avengerscompound for your suggestions and input for this story.
He was the love of my life, we were supposed to spend the rest of our lives together. We had everything planned out but sometimes things aren’t meant to be.
I met Bucky Barnes on the playground when we were 10. I saw a small boy being pushed around in the distance, I immediately went running remembering the message my dad instilled in my head from a young age. “Strong people stand up for themselves but the strongest people stand up for others.” I pushed my way through the group of boys and no matter how many times I was pushed down I got back up determined to help the small blonde-haired boy. After a few minutes, they started running when they saw a taller brunette coming towards them, once he reached us he helped the small boy up. They introduced themselves as Steven Grant Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes. From that day on it was always the three of us together, the best of friends.
I'm in desperate need of help to find this story and I don't know where to start. It starts with the reader needing a place to live so she moves in with Steve and bucky. Bucky has ptsd and a prosthetic arm(not metal) she notices they have feelings for each other then she gets feelings for each of them. Bucky doesn't seem ready for a relationship so he tries to tell them it's fine whenever she and steve have moments when it seems like they want more than friendship. She and bucky do have their own moments specifically a dry humping(why does that sound so weird to say 😂) after he tries to teach her self defense. Her ex boyfriend is Brock rumlow and she tried to run away from him but he finds her and one night he finds her after work and beats her. When steve and bucky find out they get very protective of her. Any help is appreciated, thank you ❤
I don’t think I have read this but it sounds awesome. Can any of my followers help find this fic?

Y/N stared at the bouquet of pink lilies sitting on her desk. They sat in a cheap vase, the arrangement basic. The longer she stared, the more she could feel herself frown. She rattled her brain on who these could be from.
Lee wouldn’t have chose something like this. He knew lilies were toxic to cats, therefore her least favorite flower. He would have gifted her something much more extravagant. This was probably the cheapest option at the store. It didn’t make sense.
After asking around, no one seemed to know where they came from. Their response was that they suspected Lee. But she knew better. These weren’t from him.
Who the hell gave her these flowers?
Y/N stormed into Lee’s office and shut the door behind her. Lee looked up from his paperwork and frowned at her flustered appearance.
“What’s wrong?” He asked instantly.
She bit her lip as she slowly took a step forward, “You do… detective work sometimes… right?”
Lee cocked a brow, “Yeah?”
“I think I have a case for you,” Y/N said gravely, taking a seat in front of him.
He furrowed his brows at that and sat back in his seat, “Did you get a call, or somethin’? ‘Cause I ain’t huntin’ down chickens again—“
“No, this- This is different…”
Lee’s brows perked in waiting, “Well?”
“It has to do with me,” she said hesitantly, “I know you’re working, but it’s a personal matter—“
“What the hell is it?” He asked impatiently.
“Lee, someone gave me flowers. I don’t know who it is, but I need you to figure it out,” she finally confessed in a tizzy, “They- They showed up on my desk and no one saw who did it. They just… appeared. There’s no card saying who it’s from. And I can’t have someone thinkin’ the wrong thing—“
“Honey…”
“Everyone knows I’m with you. I need you to find whoever did this and set them straight—“
“Sweet girl—“
She huffed in frustration, “I’m not crazy, okay? What if I have a stalker—?“
“Y/N.”
She finally silent and was out of breath from rambling.
Lee leaned forward and rested his arms on his desk, “You know what today is, right?” A smile teased his lips.
She looked at him confused, “Friday?”
“Yes…” Lee’s smile threatened to grow wider.
She began to grow annoyed, “Okay?”
He wetted his lips and stood up, rounding the desk and leaned down to press a kiss to her forehead, “Happy Valentine’s Day, honey.”
Y/N’s eyes widened and her gaze flashed to his face, “Oh, my god.”
“I appreciate the loyalty,” he smirked, stuffing his hands into his pockets, “Though it explains why you didn’t say nothin’ this mornin’.”
Her hands covered her face as her cheeks burned in embarrassment, “I can’t believe I forgot.”
“Well, I didn’t remind ya,” he gave her some slack, “Figured your friends said somethin’.”
Y/N sighed, “They did. And I still forgot. I thought I had more time—“
Lee squatted down and took her hands in his, a smile growing, “It’s alright, darlin’. That reaction made my day. Love how you were ready for me to beat someone’s ass. And I did leave a card. You must have missed it.”
She let out a deep breath and relaxed in her seat, “I feel so silly… You know, after everything… I don’t know, I just thought the worst.”
Lee pressed his lips together and caressed the side of her cheek, “I know. You’ve been through a lot, darlin’. No hard feelin’s.”
She nodded and kissed his palm, “I’ll make it up to you.”
He chuckled, “I’m sure you can.”
She couldn’t help but grimace when she thought of the bouquet, “I’m sorry… but, why did you pick lilies?”
Lee frowned, “What?”
“Lilies,” she repeated, “Why did you pick lilies? You- I thought you knew I didn’t like them.”
He blinked as he stared at her for a moment, “I didn’t pick lilies. I picked roses.”
They were silent for a moment before Lee stood to his full height, “Show me.”
Y/N nodded timidly and led him out of the office promptly, leading him to her desk. Once it came into view, she saw the lilies, and next to them was a larger glass vase of a dozen red roses. A gasp fell from her lips and rushed over. Tucked between the petals was a card addressed to her. These were from Lee. Her head whipped around to Lee to see him glaring at the lilies.
“Lee?” She asked softly. What did this mean? She looked to him for answers, but she had a feeling he didn’t have them.
His nostrils flared and he snatched the cheap vase from her desk and stalked off. Y/N was at his heels as she followed him into the break-room. She stopped in the doorway and watched with wide eyes as Lee tossed the flowers into the trash. Her stomach twisted as he stalked past her.
“Lee,” she called after him.
She watched him disappear into his office for a moment and reappear with his hat and leather jacket.

______________
She had never been to this side of town before. She had never even heard of Knockemstiff before despite living only thirty minutes away. According to her friend, Olivia, it was a dying town. It no longer had the bullet-ridden sign and there seemed to be no plan to replace it.
Black Run Road stretched out over a vast plain of farming land before twisting and turning into the holler. Trees lined the road, casting eerie shadows over her headlights. Something twisted in her stomach as her GPS read that she neared the house.
This was her first college party. She never hung out with people outside of her small group of coworkers. So when her classmate invited her over for a house party, she wasn’t certain she should go. Olivia was a 20-something year old go-getter she met in class. Known for her boisterous parties and high-on-life persona, Olivia found friendship in her unlikely classmate, Y/N.
“Party starts at eight,” Olivia rested her arm against the back of her chair, “People won’t show ‘til nine, though.”
Y/N cocked a brow at her as she finished jotting down her notes that Olivia would end up copying later, “That should be fun.”
“Yeah, it should be,” a smile teased Olivia’s lips, “Which is why you should come. I know you don’t work tomorrow.”
That was an excuse Y/N often used to get out of things. ‘I can’t, I have to work tomorrow.’ Classic. But it wouldn’t save her this time.
“I don’t know,” Y/N grimaced, “I don’t do well with… crowds.”
Olivia was quick to reassure her, gently placing her hand on her arm, “Oh, it’ll be low key this time. Nothing crazy. I didn’t invite that many people this time.”
Guilt tugged at Y/N’s insides and reluctantly agreed, “Okay. Just send me the address.”
And that’s how she ended up here, sitting in her hybrid car in the driveway of Olivia’s father’s mobile home. She stared at the front door, a small crowd of people smoking cigarettes and drinking loudly. They didn’t look familiar but she assumed they went to the same university. Watching them puff on their cancer sticks made her crave one herself. She cursed under her breath and grabbed the pack of cigarettes in her glove compartment. They were most likely stale, but after a couple drinks, she knew she wouldn’t care either way.
She stuffed the pack and a lighter into her purse and turned off her car. She was going to have fun, she tried to convince herself. She deserved to have a little fun. Stepping outside, she could hear the music blaring from inside the house. Her stomach flipped. With a deep breath, she tried to appear casual as she approached the front deck.
The deck was partially finished, the wood still yet to be stained and the banister wasn’t put into place. She prayed people would ignore her presence as she went inside the mobile home. The music flooded her ears as soon as she opened the door, as well as the loud chatter of dozens of partygoers. Her eyes widened. What happened to low key? Her hands tightly gripped the strap of her purse and ventured inside.
The majority of the flooring was plywood, while some of the kitchen had been tiled. A large island counter separated the kitchen from the living space, which had a beat up couch and a large flatscreen TV. It was hard to move through the home without bumping into someone. The air was warm and thick, despite the windows being open. This was not what Y/N was expecting.
She began to search for Olivia. She wouldn’t stay long. She would make an appearance, stay for a drink or two, and then head home for the night. However, after several minutes of wandering around, she had yet to find her friend. Instead of going in circles, she planted herself by the end of the island counter in hopes Olivia would walk by.
“You go to OU?”
Y/N blinked and realized the man standing next to her was talking to her. She nodded and shouted over the loud music, “Oh, yeah. You?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, “Communications.”
She nodded back, “Vet Tech.”
“Ah, so you like animals? You know, I got this dog back home—“
“Hey, there you are!” Came a familiar, feminine voice over the crowd.
Y/N whipped her head around and spotted Olivia dashing towards her. She braced for impact as her friend flung her arms around her.
“Oh, you came!” She sang loudly in her ear, “I’m so glad you came!”
Y/N pressed a smile and hugged her back, “Thanks for inviting me.”
Olivia’s three best friends tailed behind her and gave Y/N a once over, most likely judging her casual attire or the fact she even showed up to a party like this. Y/N didn’t miss their arbitrary stares and pressed a firm smile before turning her attention back on Olivia.
“I thought you said this would be… low key?” She couldn’t help but ask.
Olivia giggled wildly, “Yeah, well, Tracy invited a couple of her friends who invited some of their friends. You know how it goes.”
Y/N did her best to hide her disappointment and nodded in understanding, “Oh, yeah. For sure.”
“Get something to drink!” Olivia tugged on her arm before whipping around to her group of friends, “Someone, get Y/N a drink! She’s finally at a party!”
Cheeks burning, Y/N winced at the roar of cheers from the partygoers. Suddenly a cup of dark liquid was put in her hands and Olivia began to encourage her to drink. Y/N pressed a smile and took a small sip. The alcohol burned her throat, making her wince.
“It’s good, huh?!” Olivia grinned wildly.
She pressed a smile and nodded. As soon as she finished the drink, taking her time in between sips, it was refilled for her. The second time it was some margarita mix and the third refill was lemon-lime soda with vodka. Y/N tried to let loose and have fun, take advantage of this rare opportunity.
“Hopefully the Sheriff won’t shut us down again,” a guy chuckled, slinging his arm over Olivia’s shoulders.
“He fuckin’ hates my dad, so he hates me,” Olivia shrugged, “Whatever. He can’t stop us from havin’ fun!”
Several whoo’s erupted from people nearby before Olivia was pulled away by one of her best friends. With a sigh, Y/N made her way out to the porch, the craving of a cigarette returning. She always liked to chain-smoke when she drank, but she had finally quit after five years. Today was her breaking point and she lit the end of a stale stick once she got outside.
The porch was littered with people. She felt like she was becoming apart of conversations she didn’t want to hear. She ended up at the edge of the porch, no banister to lean on. The stagnant taste of the menthol cigarette was masked by the alcohol on her tongue, but it satisfied her craving for nicotine and the sensation of smoke in her lungs.
With a groan, she felt the three drinks settle into her system, making her feel slightly euphoric and lighter. That was until someone bumped into her with a boisterous laugh. She frowned instantly as she glared at the young man as he made to attempt to apologize. He was too drunk to care. She rolled her eyes and flicked the butt of her cigarette and headed inside.
While it was hard to weave around the partygoers, Y/N wandered through the house while Olivia was preoccupied. The size of the party seemed to grow by the minute. This wasn’t how she expected her night to go. This wasn’t her crowd of people. She preferred a more laidback environment with people she actually knew and cared about.
There was a small hallway to the left of the kitchen that lead to the garage. One of the doors in the hallway was the bathroom, the door open but the light off. The door across from it had muffled moaning coming from the other side. She grimaced and made her way into the garage.
Olivia’s sedan was parked inside but there was no one here. It was quiet, despite the muffled music and chatter from inside. Y/N closed the door behind her and sigh at the silence. Suddenly a soft ‘meow’ came from the shadows. Y/N’s eyes perked as a small black kitten sauntered over to her. Its eyes were green, no longer baby blue.
She offered her hand and the kitten rubbed its face on her fingers. Y/N didn’t know how long she ended up playing with it, but their time was cut short when a couple men stumbled inside the garage with beers in their hands. Their loud voices startled the kitten and it ran back into the shadows to hide. Y/N sighed in disappointment and turned to leave.
“What you doin’ here by yourself?” One of the men asked with a derpy smile.
She gulped at the confrontation and shrugged, “Wanted to get away from the crowd.”
The other man took a step forward, “You waitin’ here for us?”
Y/N blinked as her heart flipped, “No, I was just leaving.”
She stepped away from them and headed back inside, but the first man reached out for her arm.
“Awe, come on. Why don’t we hang out for a bit?”
She yanked her arm away, brows furrowed in distain, “I’m good,” and quickly rushed back inside.
As she passed the bathroom, the light was on and there were two people snorting white lines. She grimaced and made her way into the living room. Her heart was racing as she disappeared within the crowd in the living room, hoping they wouldn’t follow her. The crowd had formed a circle around the couch and she watched along as three young men used tasers on each other for fun.
“Okay, I’m done,” she said to herself and went to find Olivia.
She found her watching the three men stab each other with tasers, laughing at them. She grabbed her wrist and Olivia’s eyes landed on her.
“Oh, hey!”
“Hey, I think I’m gonna head out,” Y/N tried to mask her frown.
Her friend immediately pouted, “Nooo!”
“Yeah,” Y/N nodded with a tender smile, “It’s time for me to go.”
“Have one more drink for the road!” Olivia handed her the drink in her hand.
“I shouldn’t—“
“Come on! It’s one drink,” Olivia pressed the cup to her lips.
Y/N took a sip and quickly pulled away, “Okay. There, I had a drink.”
“Ugh, okay, fine. Text me later, okay?”
She nodded and waved to her, “I will. Be safe.”
Y/N thought about the kitten as she lit a cigarette on the way to her car, finishing it before she drove off. The radio stayed off as she wondered why there was a kitten in Olivia’s garage and why she hadn’t told her about it.
She hadn’t even made it off of Black Run when she saw red and blue lights flashing in her rearview mirrors. Her heart immediately dropped into her stomach. Her hands on the wheel began to tremble as she carefully pulled over to the side of the road. Her mouth felt dry as she swallowed hard. Her eyes continuously flicked to her mirrors, waiting for the officer to get out of the dark SUV and approach her vehicle. The wait felt like an eternity when it was really only a few minutes.
She didn’t realized she had zoned out until there was a knock on her window. Y/N jumped in her seat as her head whipped around. The officer stood with his hands on his hips, the headlights of his car illuminating his figure. Her shaky hand reached for the door and rolled down the window.
“Do you know why I pulled you over?”
His voice was smooth like warm honey, a soft twang to his accent that was found in the Appalachia of Ohio. He wore a white button up shirt, ironed and wrinkle free, with a grey tie. Above his right breast pocket was his name tag, ‘Bodecker.’ A campaign hat sat atop his head, hiding his hair. He placed one of his hands on the roof of her car to lean against it. His icy blue eyes bore into hers once their gazes met.
“You gonna answer me?” Impatience leaked into his tone.
“S-Sorry,” she stammered, “No… I- I don’t know why.”
There was a brief pause before the man’s eyes narrowed, “Is that alcohol I smell on your breath?”
Y/N couldn’t help when her eyes widened and she gulped. Her first instinct was to deny it, to lie. As soon as she began to say ‘no’, the man took a step back from her car.
“License and proof of insurance,” his tone nearly a growl.
She nodded and quickly grabbed her wallet from her purse, pulling out the proper cards. She rested her arm against the edge of the door to keep her hands from shaking as she handed it to him.
The officer snatched the cards from her grasp and stalked back to his vehicle without a word. Y/N chewed on her bottom lip as he checked her information. Her leg bounced nervously in waiting.
When he finally returned and handed back her cards, he said, “I need you to step out of the vehicle.” His gruff voice sent chills down her spine.
Her eyes darted around nervously, “Wh-Why?”
“I smell alcohol on your breath,” he sneered, “You were swervin’ on the road. Get out.”
Y/N swallowed hard. With her trembling hand, she opened the door and carefully stepped out.
“Officer, I- I don’t think this is necessary—“
“It’s Sheriff,” the man corrected harshly.
Her heart lurched. Was this the man that had it out for Olivia and her father? She didn’t want him to find out that she had just left her house. She didn’t want him to hate her more than he already seemed to.
“Walk in a straight line,” the Sheriff pointed to the white line painted on the side of the road.
Hesitantly, she did as she was told. She carefully placed one foot in front of the other, heel to toe. By her fourth step, she felt a hand on her side. A gasp escaped her lips as she glanced over her shoulder. The Sheriff stood right by her side, inches away. His cologne, a delicious scent, wafted over her and she gulped hard.
“Look a little unsteady,” his pupils were blown wide, his blue eyes now dark and vexing.
“I’m- I’m fine,” she leaned away from him, only to trip on her foot and stumble.
The Sheriff easily caught her and spun her around, keeping her pressed against his front, “Better be careful, darlin’. This test ain’t goin’ so well for you.”
“You- You startled me,” Y/N pressed her hands on his chest, trying to peel away.
However, his grip remained firm.
“Is that so?” His tone was almost mocking, “Better start over.”
He suddenly released her and she sucked in a harsh breath, only smelling him. Her chest rose and fell dramatically as she tried to gather her bearings. What was happening? Why was the Sheriff behaving this way? Why didn’t she just stay home?
Brows furrowed in confusion and self-doubt, she took her place back on the white line and started over. On her sixth step she heard the Sheriff’s voice in her ear.
“You’re unsteady.”
She jumped in surprise, but his arm was quick to wrap around her waist. Her hands went to his chest to push away, but he pushed her back up against her car. She gasped in surprise and her eyes shot up to meet his.
“I think you’ve had too much to drink,” his tone was low and sinister. His pudgy belly was pressed against hers, his broad chest smooshing her breasts.
“N-No,” she began to object.
He tilted his head, “What are we gonna do with you?”
“I- I only had three drinks—“
“So you have been drinkin’,” his eyes lowered to her lips before meeting her gaze once more.
She shook her head, “I’m- I’m okay to drive. I- I promise—“
His hand suddenly gripped her jaw, his fingers biting into her cheeks, “Would hate to ruin that perfect record of yours…”
Panic stuck her core and she tried to choke out, “Please—“
A malevolent grin spread across his lips, “Are we gonna beg, now? I’d love to see that.”
Her knees began to shake as she held his stare. She didn’t know what to do. She didn’t know what she was supposed to do.
“Maybe we can work somethin’ out, hm?” His gaze lowered to her lips that were slightly puckered from his grip, “Oh, you’re shakin’, honey. What, are you scared?”
A whimper escaped her lips and his smile widened.
“Don’t worry, darlin’. I ain’t gonna hurt ya… Not much, anyway.”

A/N: This is my submission for @avengerscompound writing challenge. The prompt I chose was Epiphany which is a moment of sudden revelation.
A/N: Thank you to @itsanerdlife for being my guide to anything and everything pitbull. this is a bucky fic but if I’m being honest Frankie is the star of the show. And thank you to @mo320 for proof reading
Warnings: Talk about past abuse towards an animal
You were taking a walk in the park with your blue nosed pitbull Frankie and getting the occasional side eye you have grown accustomed to. On the outside all anyone saw was a vision creature who should have been put down but on the inside he was your precious chunky monkey who got a second chance in life who would never hurt a fly.
Summary: When the love of your life breaks your heart you hope he feels that same pain
Word Count: 2K+
Warnings: angst, angst and more angst
A/N: Oh my god its a miracle I actually wrote something. This story is base off of I Hope by Gabby Barrett I had fun writing it and I hope you all enjoy it. Thank you to @mo320 and @celestialbarnes for helping me with ideas and looking over the story.
As I sit with Bucky in the coffee house, I start to reminisce over our last few years together. Since the beginning it felt like he was it for me, I pictured a life with him. Get married, have a few kids, and grow old together. I reached across the table and held his hand in mine. I give him a loving smile but notice his attention is elsewhere. This has been happening more and more lately. I don’t want to admit to myself that somethings wrong because as soon as I do, that future I’ve always pictured together could come crashing down. “Are you alright Bucky?"
"Hmm?” He quickly looks up from his phone before closing the screen. “Sorry what?"
"I asked if you’re alright? You seem distracted.” I try to meet his eyes but he seems to be doing everything to avoid them.
“Yeah I’m fine, listen I know this is short notice but I have to go. Steve needs me at the shop a car part got delivered but no one can find it.” He gets up ignoring your protests of never spending time together anymore. “I’m sorry, I’ll see you at home.” And with that, he’s gone.
