EVALUATION
1.What was the project theme and what did you think of it?
The project was to find some old objects and set them out on a set and photograph them in the dark by means of different lighting, i.e painting with light. At first I thought I would not be able to do this as it looked confusing, although I did enjoy the project.
2.What part of the project did you enjoy most/found most interesting?
I enjoyed capturing the images, but I did enjoy optimising and layering the images together, I learnt a lot in photoshop.
3.What new techniques have you experienced?
I have learnt how to paint with light, from capturing, to output.
4.What technique would you like to develop further?
I would like to do more painting with light to learn even more.
5.Which photographers did you research throughout this project?
Harold Ross
Giovanna Griffo
David O'Reilly
Julie Powell
6. How have they influenced your photographs.
The photographers I researched, all their images have good lighting, tone and texture, I think I have created the same in my own image.
7. Which technique did you enjoy most.
All
8. What do you feel is the most successful part of your project and why?
I think the lighting I have created with my set enhances the colour and textures in my image.
9. Did you encounter any problems in your project?
Not really
11. What would you do differently given the chance to complete the project again?
I would probably optimise my images more before taking them into photoshop layers.
12. Discuss any technical issues with your final image?
I am happy with my image.
13.Going deeper, If you were asked to do a project using this technique what would you do? What new ideas do you have?
I don't have any new ideas, but I would like to do this again and use objects with more texture.

I like the top one best as the clock face has better lighting, still needs a few edits. I think it shows the different textures of the objects
Using the pen tool
First attempt using the pen tool
The pen tool creates a path that can scale to any size without loosing quality
