William: One day, lad, all this will be yours! George: What, the curtains? William: No, not the curtains, lad. All that you can see! Stretched out over the hills and valleys of this land! This'll be your kingdom, lad! George: But, Mother-- William : Father, I'm Father. George: But Father, I don't want any of that. William: Listen, lad. Your Nana built this kingdom up from nothing. When she started here, all there was was swamp. All the other kings said she was daft to build a castle in a swamp, but she built it all the same, just to show 'em. It sank into the swamp. So, she built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So she built a third one. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. An' that's what your gonna get, lad -- the strongest castle in these islands. George: But I don't want any of that -- I'd rather-- William: Rather what?! George: I'd rather... just...[music]...sing! William: Stop that, stop that! You're not going to do a song while I'm here.
