regular; common troll, city trolls found mostly everywhere. well equipped for everything in a balanced manner.
seadweller; obviously seadwellers, nothing special.
deep seadwellers: very gnarly ass lookin mother grub, only found in underwater ravines, caves and anywhere no normal troll can go. not very common, but also not super uncommon!
these trolls are capable of withstanding great pressure and have excellent eyesight in the pitch blackness of the abysses.
sensitive to light and altitude change, typically.
mutant trolls are lawless here. no drones, no problem.
amphibious; the reason why so many off caste seadwellers roam around! amphibious mother grub who is found mostly in swampy and marshland areas. not usually left alive by drones, since off caste seadwellers are still mutants, but oftentimes left alone by the general public!
well equipped for land and waterdwelling, but mostly freshwater. amphibious seadwellers are usually a lot harder to come by!
every one in ten trolls is hatched and pupated an off caste seadweller. every one in fifty survives to adulthood!
mammalian; mountainous trolls hatched for higher altitudes and colder environments, like the arctic! their resemblance to humans vary, from bellybuttons and nipples to grub scars or a blank slate.
mother grub is usually fluffy, to stay healthy and safe! a general hybrid of canine and feline features, with varying amounts of legs, but usually four.
excellent at hunting and staying warm, though they don’t typically do as well in warmer climates.
typically have a ‘tidier’ gene pool in the empire’s eyes.
arachnid; found deeper in caves or any generally uninhabitable area. hardy, tough and exceptional travellers/adapters. usually do far worse in the sunlight than most other trolls.
high chance of being found more mutated, like extra limbs, eyes etc.
and dont get me STARTED on hybrid mother grubs/grub sub types!!!
amphibious arachnids! deep seadweller/seadweller, like a Better Seadweller but a Worse Deep Seadweller! mammalian regular! thats just a hairy ass man!!!!
i would love to get around to drawing the types of grubs sometime when im not swamped with being booboo the fool :)
