Jack knows when youre stressed. Focused, lost in thoughts. He can see it in the way your hand starts running over your face. Your back, under your shirt. Your arms. Picking and pulling skin. A bad habit you've had since forever, and jack took notice of it.

Causing breakouts, irritated patches, and in turn, making you even more stressed. Youve never talked about it, he never mentioned it. Just watches, notices. So, he took it upon himself to help. Always a provider, always a caretaker, it comes naturally for him.

Now, every time the older man notices you subconsciously indulging in the nervous habit, hes quick to intervene. Grabbing your hand, big, warm hand engulfing yours, intertwining fingers, while his lips press against yours. Maybe a sweet peck followed by mindless conversation, maybe a makeout session with you straddling his lap, either way, taking your mind off of whatevers got you lost in thought.

Thumb brushing gently over the back of your hand, comforting, steady. He'd never mention his intentions, knowing it would make you feel ashamed and embarrassed. Simply a man noticing, and taking care of his girl.
