i just got some beautiful Heeseung pcs as freebies at the kpop store and now it really hit me that he's just... gone. like who knows when or if his solo album is coming out with the recent fancalls he gave? who knows when we'll see more of him again. i'm so upset right now
bless fanfiction because i will continue on here as if heeseung was still in the group.
on a real note though, i hope he is well and will be successful in his solo career. with how his statement was written i don't believe that it was his choice, at least not fully, so i sincerely hope the path he is taking now will be a good one for him. and i also wish the best to the enhypen members, i don't even want to imagine how hard it must be for all seven of them right now 🩷
I hope all of you will have a wonderful day, regardless if you celebrate or not, and can find some rest during those stressful times. I am finally finding some relaxation after basically working non-stop for the past two months, working in a bakery during christmas time is a little nightmare. I apologize for not really being active recently, it was mostly because of this stress and feeling overwhelmed with basically everything.
But I am hugging all of you, I'm sending all my love to you and hope you will have some joyful days with your friends, families or all by yourself 🩷
You need to study for a test. Sunoo knows the perfect way to support you with it - and maybe distract you a bit in-between.
~~~
“Hey.” You didn't notice how Sunoo entered the room, only aware of his presence when you felt his arms wrap around your shoulders and heard his voice. “How are you?”
You let your head fall back onto his shoulder, your eyes searching for his. “Exhausted.”
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, pressing a quick peck against your cheek. “You should take a break.”
“I will once I’m done with this.” You couldn't suppress a yawn, causing a quiet chuckle from Sunoo. “How was your day?”
“I missed you. But it was good, I think I did really well at practice today.”
“I’m glad. I’m sure you did amazing.” Another yawn, another chuckle from Sunoo.
“Okay. I love you but you need a break - and I am hungry. What do you say about a nice lunch?”
You sighed. “I’d love to but I should really continue this assignment…”
“Hmm, okay.” Sunoos hands wandered to your back, softly massaging your shoulder blades as he pressed another kiss onto the top of your head. “Another idea: you continue writing this while I cook us lunch. And when I’m done you'll take a break and we'll eat together.”
You closed your eyes, taking in the feeling of your body slowly loosening up again, the tension that had built up since the morning slowly disappearing. “That sounds perfect actually. I should be done soon with this chapter anyways.”
“Do you want to continue writing in the kitchen? Maybe a change of scenery can help too - if it doesn't distract you too much.”
“You mean if you won't distract me too much,” you chuckled. “But I’ll take my chances.”
Sunoo smiled and nodded, and before you could get up by yourself he had already swept you off your feet. “Grab your laptop please.”
You couldn't hold back your laughter, clutching onto the laptop with one hand while you held onto Sunoo with the other, trying not to fall. “You're insane.”
“Insanely in love with you, yes. Let me sit you down right here.” He carefully put you down at the table, unable to resist another kiss against your lips before he grinned and walked off towards your fridge. “Do you have any wishes?”
You were just about to shake your head when you stopped yourself. “Another kiss maybe?”
“Oh?” Sunoo smirked as he walked towards you again. “I thought I shouldn't distract you?”
“I think I can handle two more seconds.” As soon as he was close enough you put your hands on his cheeks, slowly pulling his face towards you until your lips could reach his. The kiss might have lasted a bit longer than 2 seconds - but neither you nor Sunoo were complaining.
“So no wishes for lunch then?” He grinned against your lips as you shook your head.
“Surprise me please.”
One last kiss before he went back to the fridge and started getting ingredients out - not that you watched him. Of course you were focused on your assignment, busy with typing smart words about smart topics… not at all were you watching your boyfriend chopping ingredients, the muscles on his back working underneath his shirt while he was softly humming…
“I can feel you stare at me, y/n.” He turned around, a bright smile on his face. “What about your assignment?”
“I’m focused,” you mumbled. Someone should applaud you for the force you had to use to pry your eyes from Sunoos figure back to your laptop, trying to get back into the topic. Sunoo went back to the ingredients, already humming again, but this time you managed to let the sounds move to the background. Smiling to yourself you started typing again, and somehow it really seemed to go better now.
~~~
“That smells really good.” You spoke up after a while, your eyes finally looking up from the screen. “What are you making?”
“Your favorite,” Sunoo answered, his focus shifting towards you. “Obviously.”
“You're so in love with me.” You playfully rolled your eyes, not expecting for Sunoo to push out a laugh as he suddenly jumped towards you, gripping your chin so you were forced to look at him.
“Yes I am.” His eyes wandered towards your lips, and only a second later you felt his lips on yours, your eyes fluttering shut. “But you love me too.”
You just nodded as your lips moved against each other, none of you planning to let go. “I love you.”
“I love you most, sprout,” he whispered. “Don't forget that.”
Your hand wandered to his back, pulling him closer so you could deepen the kiss, while his hand wandered towards your hair. You didn't have to speak up or reassure him, your kisses doing the job all too well. You could have gone on forever, if it weren't for the pot on the stove that suddenly hissed, causing you to almost jump apart.
“I should probably go back to the food…” Sunoo mumbled, his face a deep red. “And you should focus on your assignment.”
“Right.” Your fingers moved around your lips, feeling where Sunoo was just seconds ago. “Right - I’m almost done with the chapter anyway.”
“Good.” He quickly turned around to go back to cooking, while you tried to shift your focus back on your assignment. Thankfully you were actually almost done, only a few sentences left. You and Sunoo managed to finish your work at the same time, the plate full of delicious food being placed in front of you right when you closed your laptop.
“Perfect timing,” he smiled. “I hope you'll enjoy.”
“It's made by you, of course I will.”
His face lit up as he watched you eat, your eyes closing in bliss. “It's so good, Sun.”
“I’m so glad.” Only then he started eating too - a little habit he had developed when you moved in together. “Ah - I did a good job.”
“Yes you did.”
It didn't need words to notice how proud Sunoo was of himself, and he had every right to be. The food was incredible, the flavors melting together and its warmth filling you up with a cozy feeling. This was just what you needed, a well deserved break from the computer screen and the glass of water that had filled your morning so far.
“Thank you, Sun.” You grabbed his hand once you had finished your food, pressing a small kiss against his knuckles. “This was really good.”
You could see him blush again, his eyes focused on you.
“I’m glad you loved it.” He cleared his throat before he spoke up again. “Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?”
“My assignments…”
He chuckled. “Right. So what about this: you use the energy right now to continue writing. And once you feel yourself getting tired we can go on a walk or take a little nap. And tonight I’ll order us dinner and we’ll sit down on the couch and watch a movie.”
You just stared at him for one, two seconds, mouth open in awe. “You're perfect.”
“You are. But I will take that as a yes then.”
You nodded. “Of course it's a yes.”
“Can I keep you company?”
You laughed. “If you promise not to be too distracting?”
“I promise!” Sunoo jumped up again to grab your plates. “I’ll do the dishes and you can get started. Do you want to sit on the couch? It might be more comfortable.”
“Sunoooo,” you whined. “You need to be less perfect - how am I supposed to focus on my assignment now.”
“You can do it, I believe in you.” He grinned. “Fighting!”
You couldn't hide the laugh again as you made your way towards the couch, the laptop on your lap waiting for you to start writing. Just as you started Sunoo appeared with a book in his hands and lied down next to you, his head leaning against your thigh. You began absentmindedly running your fingers through his hair while your head was trying to come up with the right things to write. The room was silent apart from the occasional typing and Sunoos content hums as your fingers found their way back into his hair again. You could see his eyes closing over and over again, fatigue of all his training taking over as his head lolled to the side. It was an adorable sight, his soft breaths moving the pages of his book before you placed it on the little side table. You kept massaging his head, managing to write a total of 4 pages before you also began to feel tired, continuously losing your train of thought as your eyes threatened to close too. With a small sigh you put your laptop down, nudging Sunoos shoulder until he stirred awake.
“Sorry,” you whispered. “I just thought the bed might be more comfortable - I’ll take a little nap too.”
He yawned, nodding with tired eyes. “Sounds good.”
You walked behind him as he almost stumbled towards the bed, falling right onto it. With a quiet giggle you lied down next to him, pushing some loose strands of hair behind his ear. “I love you.”
“I love you too, sprout,” he mumbled, words already slurred again. “Come here please.”
You shuffled closer, arms wrapping around him as you buried your face into his neck. “Hi.”
“Hey.” Now it was Sunoos turn to run his fingers through your hair, massaging your head. “Should we set an alarm?”
“That's probably a good idea.” You sighed as you had to turn around, setting a quick alarm before you moved right back into your previous position. “All done.”
“I am proud of you, you know,” Sunoo suddenly whispered. “You did so well today.”
“I’m proud of you. Training must have been so exhausting but you still cooked and took care of me.”
“It's nothing.” You could feel his lips against your hair. “I love you, I’d do anything for you.”
You understood why Sunoo fell asleep so quickly earlier - the continuous movement of his fingers in your hair and his soft whispers were very effectively lulling you to sleep. You noticed that he was talking to you, but your brain was too tired to decipher them and it didn't take long until everything turned black and you welcomed sleep.
~~~
“Sprout?” You barely registered the words that woke you up. “Hey, we need to get up.”
With a groan you squeezed your eyes together, burying your face deeper into Sunoos neck.
“I don't want to get up either,” you heard him whisper. “But we can't just nap all day.”
“Why not,” you mumbled. “I think it sounds like a perfect plan.”
“Because you have assignments to do, Sprout.” Sunoo pressed a small kiss against the top of your head. “And I will be here to support you.”
“Napping all day sounds so much better though…”
You could hear him chuckle. “I can imagine, but those assignments won't write themselves.”
You sighed. “5 more minutes?”
“Okay.” Sunoo pulled you closer as he kissed you again. “But only so you can get more awake, so open your eyes please.”
When you followed his words you were met with a wide smile on your boyfriends face. “Hi.”
“Hey - I still don't like this,” you pouted.
“Sorry y/n. But you know I only want the best for you.”
“I know. I just wish I didn't have to do all this work.”
Sunoo was briefly watching you before you felt his lips on yours, a surprising softness behind it. He placed his hand onto your cheek, his thumb drawing small circles onto it while your lips moved against each other. You were tempted to close your eyes again when Sunoo ended the kiss, leaning his forehead against yours instead.
“I get that but I know you will do great. You can do anything if you put your mind to it, y/n. You will also do amazing with this and once you're done we can do everything you want to do now.”
“Even nap all day?”
“Yes, even nap all day.” Sunoo chuckled. “Should we get up now?”
You nodded as you kissed Sunoo one last time again, before you were letting yourself get pulled up by him. “You're really amazing, you know that?”
“I can't be more amazing than you,” he simply said. “I’ll do some housework while you write, okay? And if you need anything just call for me.”
~~~
The world outside had slowly turned dark while you were typing word after word onto your assignment, only interrupted by a couple yawns here and there. You could hear Sunoo quietly singing and humming while he did the housework, cleaning up and folding some laundry, and it surprisingly calmed you down a lot. You found it easier to focus with him in the background - yes, even if you occasionally caught yourself staring at him - and so you somehow managed to write page after page after page.
“Hey, sprout?”
You looked up from your computer and saw Sunoo standing in front of you, a soft smile on his face.
“Yes?”
“When was the last time you filled up your glass of water?”
Oh. You were staring at it quizzically, as if the glass could somehow answer you. “I don't know… I refilled it once after our nap. I didn't really have time to do it again.”
Sunoo chuckled. “You're so lucky you don't live alone anymore, your chances of survival would be incredibly low. That was a few hours ago.”
“I can survive a few hours without water though,” you pouted. “I’m fine.”
Sunoo just looked at you, before he gave you a little kiss. “You know how easily you get headaches. Especially when you sit in front of the computer all day. Let me take care of that, hm? You just keep focusing on your work.”
You simply nodded. You knew Sunoo was right, and you knew you would regret not drinking enough water later, but your whole focus had been on this assignment. It didn't take long for him to come back, a glass of water in one hand and a plate in the other.
“I got you some snacks too! Some fruits, grapes, all the stuff you like.”
You were about to thank him when you spotted the things on the plate. The grapes were placed on toothpicks to make it look like tiny animals, the apple slices were flower shaped and he had added a bunch of colorful berries too.
“Sunoo that's-”
“I thought it might motivate you to eat if I arrange it prettily.”
“It's beautiful. The little animals are so cute.”
Sunoos eyes lit up. “I suddenly had this idea… I’m happy you like it.”
“I love it!” You quickly pulled him closer to kiss him. “I love you. Thank you Sunoo.”
“You're so welcome. I hope it can get you through the rest of your work.”
~~~
“Aaand I am done!” you finally declared as you closed your laptop. “This assignment is officially over.”
Sunoo almost jumped towards you, his arms wrapping around you. “I am so proud of you. I knew you could do it.”
“Thank you, Sun,” you smiled as you ate the last of your berries. “One thing less to worry about.”
“You did amazing, Sprout. I bet there's absolutely no reason to worry.”
You looked up at him, a content look on your face. “You're really the best. I wouldn't have finished it today if it wasn't for you.”
“Eh, I barely did anything. But we need to celebrate now! What do you want to do, should I order us takeout? Do you still want to take a nap? Or-”
“Let me get up first,” you giggled. “I don't think I can move after sitting down for so long.”
“Of course, of course,” Sunoo nodded. “Want me to massage you?”
“Oh!” Your eyes lit up. “Yes, yes please.”
“I’m on it.”
Sunoo pulled you towards the couch and made you sit down in front of him. His hands were pushing your hair over your shoulder before you felt them kneading your skin, applying the pressure in all the right places.
“Is this good?” His voice was quiet and low, making you shiver under his hands.
“It's perfect,” you whispered while you had to fight the urge to just doze off. You could hear Sunoo chuckle.
“Do you want to lie down? I can massage you like that too.”
“You're perfect,” you whispered again. “I’d love that.”
Lying down like this made it even harder to stay awake - so you dozed off after a couple minutes.
~~~
When you woke up again you found yourself in your bed, Sunoos arms wrapped around you.
“I thought the bed might be more comfortable,” he mumbled before he pressed a kiss against your cheek. “I ordered us takeout, it should arrive soon. And we could watch a movie while we're eating? Or we just talk.”
“What did I do to deserve you.” You pulled him closer to kiss him again, not wanting to let go. But your plan was disturbed by the sound of the door bell, and Sunoo stood up after one last kiss.
“That's our food, I’m sorry.”
“Don't be. I will pick out a movie while you pay!”
You both almost jumped towards the living room, Sunoo rushing towards the door while you turned on the tv, settling on a movie you knew you both would enjoy.
“Hey,” you heard after a minute, Sunoo leaning against the doorframe. “Did I already tell you how pretty you look today?”
You could feel yourself blushing while you stared at him, a smile spreading on your face. “You didn't - but thank you.”
“Well I need to catch up on it then,” Sunoo shrugged while he placed your favorite food on the tiny table in front of the tv. “Come here please.”
You moved closer to him so you could lean your back against his chest, his hand moving through your hair while the other one was wrapped around you.
“You're so pretty, sprout,” he mumbled into your ear, his lips soft against your neck. “I am so lucky. And I am so happy that you were successful today. You did so well.”
“It was nothing,” you whispered, blushing again. “You helped me a lot.”
“It is though. I am so proud of you.”
“Thank you.” You closed your eyes again, taking in the feeling of Sunoos hands massaging your scalp.
“Let's eat before you fall asleep again, hm?” Sunoo laughed.
“I can't help it, you're just so comfy.”
“You are too, sprout.”
“I can't promise that I won't fall asleep during the movie,” you yawned. “But dinner sounds good right now.”
“I will hold you close when you do, don't worry. We can just watch the rest tomorrow then.”
You gave him a little peck on the cheek before you shifted your attention towards the food in front of you. “That sounds perfect. You are perfect.”
“You even more,” Sunoo grinned, his eyebrows raising when he saw you open your mouth. ”Ah ah ah- no arguing.”
A second later you found your mouth full with the ordered food, effectively shutting you up - at least for now.

I wrote this story as a distraction for a friend before she disappeared to the US - and now it will hopefully be a little distraction for the people living there (and everyone else, of course). I am sending you all a big hug after todays news. Take a little break if you can, you deserve it 🩷
a little visit to the aquarium with jake. he seems to be more interested in you than in the fishes though... hmm.
~~~
“This fish looks like you.” You giggled, your finger pointing towards a grumpy looking fish, his forehead at least a few centimeters longer than the rest of his face, hovering over his eyes.
“Ha ha,” Jake huffed, his face ironically the same expression as the fish. “You're so funny, y/n.”
“Thank you,” you smirked. “I’m glad you can appreciate my jokes.”
Jake just shook his head, but you could see the corners of his mouth lifting up. Without a word he grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the next fishtank.
“That's you.” You followed his finger this time, your eyes meeting a… oh.
“It's so pretty.” You almost whispered, eyes focused on the little shiny fish in front of you.
“It is. I hope you feel bad now.”
You pouted, your shoulder pushing against Jakes. “Come on. It was a joke. I thought you appreciated my humor.”
“I can appreciate it and still make you feel bad,” he shrugged, but there was a smile on his face. “That's how I show my love.”
“Do you.” You couldn't help but smile along as you gave his hand a small squeeze, your head leaning against his shoulder now. “Cute.”
Jake hummed. “Yeah - but how do you show your love?”
“What do you mean?”
“Well.” Now it was Jakes turn to pout. “My girlfriend insulted me and I didn't even get a kiss to make up for it.”
You couldn't stop the laugh escaping from you, Jakes pout only increasing.
“You're so cute,” you whispered. “Come here.”
You pulled him closer as you softly pressed your lips against his. “Such a big baby.”
“For that statement I want at least a hundred more kisses.” Jakes hand wrapped around your waist, keeping you close as he looked at you. “I’m waiting, y/n.”
Something about his tone caused small goosebumps on your body, every joke you could have made pulled from your memory. Instead you pulled him closer again, more than ready to deliver his hundred kisses - at least until there was suddenly a group of people walking towards the fishtanks next to you.
“I won't forget about the kisses,” Jake whispered before he pulled you along to the next tank. You just nodded, trying to fight down the blush that was spreading. Not that it was very successful - you tried focusing on the fish, but Jakes hand on your lower back made it hard.
“Are you listening to me?”
“Huh?” You looked up to find Jake grinning at you, a knowing look on his face.
“So not. Okay, listen.” He suddenly started a whole rant about finding nemo and his younger self watching it, his hand leaving your back to accentuate what he was saying. This time you paid attention, nodding and humming along while he got more and more excited over his little story. It was adorable.
“And that's why I almost drowned myself in our toilet that day.” Okay, the story wasn't really adorable. But his way of talking was.
“So when did you figure out that diving existed?” You couldn't help but giggle, an arm wrapped around his waist pulling him closer while you walked towards the next tank.
“My mom signed me up for diving lessons as soon as she found out what I was trying to do.” Jake wrapped his arm around your shoulder, pressing a small kiss against your forehead. “But I still never saw Nemo or Dori.”
“Oh. That must have been disappointing.”
“It was okay. I saw lots of other cool fish. And besides - my mom used to say it's because they were hiding after Nemos bad experiences.”
You were smiling, your eyes focused on your boyfriend. “That sounds so sweet.”
“She's the best.” Jake gave you another kiss. “But you are too. We should go diving together one day.”
“I find the ocean scary,” you mumbled. “But I’d love to explore it with you.”
Jake was almost lighting up at your words, beaming as you explored the rest of the exhibition together. You took your time, the crowd slowly dying down while you went from tank to tank, exchanging stories of your lives or comments about the fish you saw.
“Should we look at the nocturnal fish or do they make you nervous?”
You shook your head, softly pushing against Jake. “As long as I don't have to swim at night I’m fine with it.”
He grinned as he pulled you towards the next part of the exhibition, the next room suddenly tinted in darkness. All the fish tanks were dimly lit, the only source of lighting in the room, and you instinctively grabbed Jakes hand again to avoid you tripping over your own feet.
“So, are you scared?” Jake probably tried to make his voice sound deep and intimidating, but his chuckles kinda ruined that.
“Terrified,” you still answered as you pulled Jake closer, your head leaning against his shoulder. “Please protect me.”
“I will fight off all the scary fish, y/n.” The smile was more than evident in Jakes voice, and you loved it. You felt his hand wrapping around your waist to maneuver you along the exhibition, all while he whispered some information about the fish you saw. You had to admit that you were impressed - you weren't aware that he had such a big interest in them. But it was adorable, both the way he talked about it all and how you still discovered something new about him from time to time. He had a calmness about him, but you could also feel the excitement that he could share this with you. The number of people in the exhibition became less and less, but the two of you didn't even think about leaving already, the closing time was still far away enough so you could take your time and explore it all.
“So what can you tell me about this fish?” you asked, waiting for an answer from your boyfriend. It was quiet, the silence staying long enough that you finally looked up, checking to see what's wrong. Jake didn't seem to listen, his head moving around while his eyes seemed to search for something. “Jake?”
“Hmm? Oh, sorry.” His head almost whipped towards you as he softly nudged you. “What did you say?”
“I wanted to hear fish facts, but you seemed a bit distracted,” you smiled. “What were you thinking of?”
“Just - there are no people around right now.”
“There aren't. Seems like they didn't appreciate your fish facts - which is a shame. I really love them.”
“I love you.” Jake swiftly moved behind you, his arms wrapped around you as he gave the top of your head a gentle kiss. “But I was thinking that now might be the time to claim those kisses you still owe me.”
You let out a yelp when he suddenly pulled you backwards, turning you around again so you were now facing him, his arms still wrapped around you while you stood between him and the wall in a little secluded area.
“Hi,” he grinned, his eyes lingering on your lips. “What do you say?”
“How could I say no to that?” You almost whispered, breath stopping when you felt Jake moving closer, his lips hovering above yours.
“Good.” His voice was deep, but you couldn't focus on that when you felt his lips on your cheek, making their way towards your mouth with no rush. “A hundred, right?”
You tried to shake your head, but Jake caught your face in between his hands, keeping it in place.
“I think I’m right,” he whispered,” and I have no rush for it.”
His lips found their way to your other cheek, softly caressing it before he pressed kisses against them again. You involuntarily held your breath, awaiting every new touch against your skin while your eyes fluttered shut. You could feel Jake smile into his kisses, especially when he finally reached your lips - which made you smile too in return.
“I’m glad you're enjoying this.”
“I love you,” you replied, your hand running through his hair while one of his hands wandered down your back, leaving a trail of goosebumps wherever he touched you.
“I love you too.” Jake mumbled against your lips, pressing you closer. “So much.”
“I love you more.” You couldn't help but giggle into the kiss, especially when you could almost feel Jake furrowing his brows.
“No you don't.”
“Yes I do~”
You felt Jakes hands on your hips, his grip tightening as he pulled you even closer. “You don't,” his voice sounded in your ear. “Take it back.”
You tried to appear unaffected, not showing that his voice caused goosebumps again as you stared at him, a smirk on your face. “Make me.”
Jake let out a chuckle and seconds later you were pressed against the wall, his lips on your jaw. “At the aquarium? Bold, y/n.”
“I never said you should do it like that. Kidnapping a fish with me would have worked too.” Your laugh got stuck in your throat as you could feel Jakes teeth scraping against your neck, earning another chuckle from him in return.
“As if.”
You didn't bother arguing, both because you wouldn't be convincing anyways and because Jakes lips against your neck slowly took away any logical thought. Your fingers found their way into his hair again, softly pulling on it whenever he decided to gently bite into your skin, causing tiny gasps in return. Your other hand was pinned against the wall behind you, Jakes fingers firmly wrapped around your wrist.
“Not convinced yet?” you heard him mumble against your skin, his eyes moving upwards to meet yours.
“No.” You didn't manage to raise your voice above a whisper, but Jake heard you.
“Of course not. You always want more, hm?”
You tried to make a mental note to disagree with him later, but for now you were too occupied with the feeling of his kisses slowly moving more downwards, his other hand trailing all over your body. “Thought so.”
“I didn't agree,” you replied, but that only resulted in a bite against your collarbones, Jakes smirk showing in his next kiss.
“You didn't disagree either.”
Your boyfriend was a good kisser. Maybe that's what made it so hard to focus on anything right now - if you were able to think normally you would have probably thanked whoever designed this part of the aquarium to be so dark, making you and Jake almost invisible.
“You're always arguing with me.”
“And you love it.” You did, even though you hated admitting it. Especially if it made Jake this smug, his grinning face appearing right in front of yours, startling you.
“Hi.”
“Hey,” you answered, slightly annoyed that you sounded more out of breath than he did. “Already getting bored?”
“Of you? Never.” He chuckled. “But there are people coming. Not sure if you would like them witnessing this.”
Again - if you were able to think normally you would have thanked him, taken his hand and pulled him towards the next fishtank. In this state you were in right now you couldn't care less though. You didn't even hesitate to pull Jake closer again, hand tangled in his hair while you kissed him with an intensity that took him by surprise. He stumbled towards you, one leg right in between yours so you were pressed even more against the wall.
“I don't care,” you mumbled against his lips, “I really don't care.”
“Of course you don't.” At first Jake didn't make any effort to stop you, but as the voices grew louder you could feel him slow down the kisses, finally breaking away a bit. You would only have to move your face slightly forward and you could kiss him again, but something about the look in Jakes eyes stopped you from doing exactly that. They looked teasing, full of tension, accompanied by the smirk that crawled back onto his face.
“Think you can handle waiting for a minute?”
You huffed as you punched against his shoulder, but your eyes never stopped looking at each other. “Can you?”
He didn't answer, his eyebrow cockily raised as you could hear the group of people passing by.
“Ssh.” You fully expected him to simply press his finger against your mouth but instead he was tracing your lips, drawing along the shape. You could feel the goosebumps all over your body, fighting down the shivers to not attract any attention. The urge to slap the smirk off Jakes face was big, you just didn't know yet if it should happen with a kiss or an actual slap - and you felt like he knew exactly what you were thinking.
“Quiet,” he whispered again, his expression still not changing. “Or do you want to be caught?”
You huffed, waiting a total of two seconds as the voices grew more quiet before you pressed your lips onto Jakes again, bodies leaving no room for air in between you. Maybe the answer to that was a yes.
You didn't know how long this had been going on, Jakes kisses stealing away any awareness of time and place, when suddenly a loud voice rang through the place. Jake and you almost jumped apart, eyes ripped wide open when the voice declared that the aquarium would close in half an hour.
“A speaker,” Jake chuckled. “Just a speaker.”
You just stared at him, needing a second to process this information, but then you also broke out into a giggle.
“I thought we were gonna get kicked out.”
“I mean - we are in a way.” He pulled you closer again, pressing a quick kiss onto your lips - one that was over far too quickly. “Come on.”
He grabbed your hand and gently pulled you through the exhibition, quickly checking out the fishtanks you hadn't seen yet. You couldn't fight down the grin that was spreading on your face - at least until you entered the entrance area and caught a look of Jakes face. He had a deep blush on his cheeks, his eyes shortly running down your body before his steps sped up, almost dragging you out of the aquarium.
“Are you okay?” You were out of breath again when he finally stopped two streets further, eyebrows scrunched in confusion when he suddenly burst out laughing and leaned against a wall.
“I fear I might have been a bit too eager kissing you,” he managed to get out.
You stared at him, realization slowly dawning on you. “Jake Sim, if you're meaning to tell me I have marks on my skin-” You huffed, punching against his shoulder. “Don't tell me that's what you mean.”
“In my defense,” Jake started, rubbing his shoulder with a pouty look on his face,” they suit you very well.”
“I can't believe this.” You sighed. “We have a dinner reservation in what - 30 minutes? I can't cover them that quickly.”
“Maybe I don't want you to.” That earned Jake a second punch, his pout only growing bigger. “Stop punching me.”
“You deserve it.”
“Come onnn,” he whined, pulling you closer at your hips. “You look pretty.”
“People will stare at me.”
Jake gave you another quick kiss before he put his forehead against yours, his eyes searching for you. “You look gorgeous, they would stare anyway. But if you're too uncomfortable I will cancel the reservation and we can just order some takeout.”
“I love you,” you mumbled. “It's fine, I will just ignore them.”
“I will protect you,” Jake smiled as he wrapped an arm around your shoulder, a kiss pressed against your forehead before you continued your way towards the restaurant.
“My hero,” you giggled. “I hope you had fun today.”
"Oh, I did." I’m thinking that we should continue this later.”
You huffed, softly smiling as you looked at him. “If you're ready to get up 20 minutes earlier tomorrow morning to cover all those marks for me, sure.”
“Anything for you.”
You would have kissed him - but if you did you would have probably missed your reservation. So you held back, instead settling for a simple peck before you continued your way.
guess who's back... lol. This took forever and i'm so sorry that i suddenly disappeared, but life kicked my butt for a while. but i am back and i plan for it to stay that way! so here's a little story to celebrate my (hopefully successful) comeback to tumblr. please let me know your thoughts and opinions 🩷
we are boycotting riize so unfollow them on every single social media platform
even if you are casual listeners. I have stated that I don't stan them but i have been following them a bit because of shotaro and sungchan as they were past nct members so I am doing this for them and their new family. we all know how much each of the members wanted to bring seunghan back so do me and OT7 briizes a favour and unfollow and block them
don't buy their albums. don't stream but you can listen to pirated versions as long as it's not on SM's account. this is all so that we can make SM realise that they are the evil ones (devil in disguise but that would be a little mean even to the devil bc they are far worse than that)
The thing that makes seunghan's bullying so disgusting is that OT6[redacted] are acting like Seunghan is as bad as Taeil. THAT'S what's so incredibly unbelievable.
seunghans return was such an important thing to happen as well. bringing seunghan back showed delusional fans that they couldn't win just because they dont like something. with so many innocent idols being removed from groups, seunghan coming back was so important and was really showing some growth in the kpop industry. but now theyre too scared.
it was too early to decide if seunghan wasn't fit for the group. he had been back for 2 days and hadn't had a single public appearance. if he went to madrid with them, i guarantee this wouldn't have happened as he would have seen the overwhelming amount of support he was getting elsewhere.
sm really is a company that supports bullies. we love you seunghan. riize will always be 7 to me.
