MOST PRODUCED FURBY VARIANTS

Based on official archives and collector data, these are the most common Special Edition Furbies (1999–2000). They were widely produced and a perfect target for lowball diplomacy:

1. Santa Furby (Nov 1999) – 500,000 units made  

2. Spring, Graduation & Autumn Furby (1999) – each 250,000 units produced 

3. Millennium Furby v2 / “Year 2000” (Dec 1999) – 220,000 units 

4. Wizard Furby (July 1999) – 90,000 units made exclusively for Toys R Us 

5. Jester Furby / Racing Furby / Statue of Liberty Furby (late 1999) – all 72,000 units each 

WHY THIS MATTERS

• These mass-production models are everywhere, not collectibles.

• Any listing of these asking more than $50 in less-than-mint-condition is price inflation masquerading as rarity.

• Before you offer: check factory logos, tags, and cloth distortions, then lowball them with precision.

• Kid Cuisine Furby: 500 units : extremely limited, sold only through promotions   

• Angel Furby: 10,000 units : low-run holiday edition 

• Hi‑C Furby: 5,000 units : contest reward model 

• Bejewelled Furby: Only 5 made with Swarovski and gems: not market-relevant for war efforts

Let’s stop furby inflation

Recently, the Furby inflation has been getting pretty bad. and there’s a lot of price gouges out there! I’ve seen a lot of people fall for it there is no reason why you should be paying significantly more than how much it was when it came out originally in 1989-2002. it makes a lot harder for people trying to get into the community and we should be trying to work hard to give people that might not have any furbys some.

Some of these look like they came out of Shreks a** crack there is no reason why you should be paying that much if you’re going to be selling it for $70 plus shipping at least give it a wash🙄☝🏼
