Statement - March 2016

I primarily create temporary sculptures that draw upon the language of process painting; existing somewhere in the liminal space between both painting and sculpture. My works are playful interventions within a space that change throughout the exhibit, stretching and collapsing. The forms and shapes within these pieces are reminiscent of the body and flesh, as well as acting as an extension of it. These ideas are also explored through other disciplines such as drawing or writing.
