Here are pictures of myself and my beautiful girlfriend Lala. You can say that our “Love Story” is a lot different than everyone else’s. To say she has completely changed my life is an understatement. I came out as a proud bisexual woman my senior year of college and it was the best decision I have made in my life. To be free in something that you held in your entire life just lifts a person on another level. I graduated college with my bachelor in Science and am now a proud Masters student at a college in New York. I take so much pride in my studies and work my ass off everyday. After college I was very much going through a rough patch in the “love” and “mental” category. For me, I made bad choices in my life which I take full responsibility for now, ya live and ya learn as they say. However that entire journey I made several amazing friends on Tumblr and Twitter which I now love and call family. Ever since I was in middle school I was known as that “Taylor Swift girl” which I am highly proud of; that stuck around throughout college which was wonderful. Lol. Through the friendships I made, I met this amazing woman named Lala.

We were friends for months prior in a twitter group chat as well as an IMessage chat. We connected as best friends right away which I believe makes us special. I always thought she was a wonderful woman of beauty inside and on the outside but never really had the courage or time to say anything. One day while on a family vacation this past summer I had a moment of realization that I needed to say something to her, so I would do what any normal person would do; text her privately, flirt a bit and take a shot... see where it goes. After a few days of back and forth, FaceTiming every night and realizing I had a positive vibe with her, I needed to tell her my true feelings. In this moment I laid it all out there. I was very scared however that jump was needed to be taken for my own sanity. Luckily I got the courage to say on FaceTime “I think you are one of the most kind, wonderful, giving, amazing and beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on. I do not want to make you uncomfortable but I needed to share my true feelings about you. I would love it if we can progress as more than friends and see where it goes. If not I apologize for laying this on you but I was in need to tell you.” After that, my first thought was “fuck I need a beer” and “there is no way this lovely lady can ever like me.” Her response was “oh ya I only talk to people I don’t like and find extremely attractive every night.. run to my phone every time they text me and blush by your words.” There I felt a moment of disbelief of wow this beautiful woman is agreeing and likes me for me. She has always embraced myself for me, my flaws and my past. She knows the real me and has stuck by me through everything.

Ever since then, she is my dream come true.. She has been by my side as my beautiful girlfriend, partner in crime as well as my best friend through it all. She has changed my outlook on life and has changed me as a person. Throughout our entire journey there are two people we always thank, God and Taylor. Without them, us as a couple would not be possible. I literally found the woman of my dreams and it thanks to both of them. We are planning an amazing life together, I recently gave her a promise ring which signifies our trust and love towards each other. She is my pride and joy, I’ve never felt like this with anyone before and everyone knows it. My family knows it, my friends know it and people in my masters classes have seen a different side of me. She has brought out the Kasey I have always wanted to be. We are now going together to Lover Fest East in which we are so excited for. To be with our amazing friends we have met through you as well as slow dance to one of our favorite songs “Lover” will be incredible.

Taylor if you are reading this just thank you, you have completely changed my life. You have stuck with me through when I was bullied in school, gone through depression and also having life changes realizing I am a proud bisexual woman. You have given me strength and hope for me to push forward in times where I was hopeless to push forward. Most of all, thank you for giving me the most beautiful woman in the entire world inside and out. My soulmate, woman of my dreams, my strength and love of my life. I genuinely do not know what I would do without you Taylor. I only wish to hug you one day to personally thank you.
