The Gospel Promises Reconciliation Today! At the heart of the Gospel narrative is the coming of the Prince of Peace. In Him, we find reconciliation not only with God, but with one another. He’s the only One who can destroy the walls that separate us (Ephesians 2:14–18). - Paul David Tripp https://www.instagram.com/p/BzvV3BZHiMU/?igshid=1by86czqlw0yg
Your weaknesses are not obstacles for God. He doesn’t need your strength to use you in powerful ways. Wave the white flag of weak, dependent surrender again today. When He finds your flag, He will begin to flex. Just watch. https://www.instagram.com/p/BzsnA1ZHvOZ/?igshid=wmgwmcfmqbq2

Some people think listening is what you do between opportunities to say something. During listening times they don’t listen at all. They are deciding what to say. Don’t be such a parent. The Proverbs remind you that the fool does not delight in understanding, but in airing his own opinion (Proverbs 18:2). Do You Experience Deep, Habitual Joy? Jesus was a man of unparalleled and unshakeable joy. A joyless life would have been a sinful life. Jesus experienced deep, habitual joy! Not only was Jesus infinitely happy with his Father before and during the foundation of the world (Proverbs 8:30–31), but the angels announced His human arrival as “good news of great joy” (Luke 2:10). King David had written about the joy that his great descendant would experience from God: “You make him most blessed forever; you make him glad with the joy of your presence” (Psalm 21:6). Jesus compared Himself to a joyful groom (Mark 2:18–20), and His nasty opponents accused Him of having too much joy (Luke 7:34). He even taught that joy was essential in receiving His kingdom (Matthew 13:44). Are you finding your joy in Jesus today? Will tomorrow be an intentional pursuit of happiness in God? https://www.instagram.com/p/BzB1ygCnxgx/?igshid=1ecbnj20a01t2
AM I REALLY GROWING? It's quite possible to grow in biblical literacy without growing in wisdom and holiness. If our Christianity is something less than a full surrender of our thoughts, motives, and hearts to King Jesus, and a daily hunger for and pursuit of His transforming grace, then our faith will get reduced to a system of tradition, philosophy, and activity. Until the day we die, we are called to resist this external, counterfeit, and Christless Christianity. We have been given mega grace to experience the real thing. And this grace compels us to long for something so much better: a soul-satisfying relationship with Jesus Himself! Don’t settle for anything less! https://www.instagram.com/p/By-Ug-CHQ12/?igshid=3z73v1goagy9
“Do you mortify; do you make it your daily work; be always at it whilst you live; cease not a day from this work; be killing sin or it will be killing you.” - John Owen https://www.instagram.com/p/By0Axy-H5qj/?igshid=1qd4o029oog8
We who have been justified on account of God’s grace alone through faith alone because of Christ alone have been forgiven fully and finally, and this forgiveness leads to a life of asking forgiveness, forgiving others, and trusting Christ alone every day of our lives as we live coram Deo, before the face of our forgiving Father in heaven. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByuvlgrHB4t/?igshid=bwfqs9w4hs5p
All to Jesus I surrender, Humbly at His feet I bow, Worldly pleasures all forsaken; Take me, Jesus, take me now. https://www.instagram.com/p/BysNLFpHEiM/?igshid=9ob8o0qnr2oi
We got to talk serious about where the world is going. This is the first generation who doesn’t believe the future is going to be brighter. Many in the church would say, “I used to love Jesus more.” That’s a problem with a sad future. Does your future include God as the conquering King Who will make all things new? Do you have faith in future His grace? If so, that will be evident today. https://www.instagram.com/p/BypsO7QHkin/?igshid=1f2hdcvc46woc
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? In God's plan, our quest for personal identity is meant to drive us back to him as Creator so that we find our meaning and purpose in him. When we live out a sense of who we are IN CHRIST we live our lives based on all we have been given by Christ. This keeps us from seeking to get those things from the people and situations around us. Much of the disappointments and heartache we experience is the result of our attempts to get something from relationships that we already have in Christ.
