At this point, I'd like to get a bachelor's degree in engineering. I realize it's a long-term goal, but I'm still holding out hope. To get in, I'm taking reasonable steps to graduate from senior high school and enroll in my preferred institution. I want to concentrate on engineering, specifically electronics engineering, once I begin my college career. Knowing that the fees for my selected course are high, I will work part-time to support my education expenses. It is not easy to put in double the effort and time, but I will do so to reach my goal. I'll also think about time management in terms of balancing academics, hobbies, and passions in order to maintain good mental health as a student, as mental health concerns are a growing problem in today's society. Furthermore, I intend to study diligently in order to comprehend and develop vital abilities in the field of electronics engineering. Finally, in order to graduate from college with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering, I will trust the process I am following.

Our family's passion for teaching is sparked by the fact that the majority of our family members are or will soon be professional teachers. Although we have a lot of teachers in our family, it has no bearing on my professional choice, but it doesn't imply that I don't like teaching. The true reason is that I'm more interested in what an engineer does, particularly electronics and advancements, so I'd rather take an engineering course than a teaching course. Even though engineering is difficult, I still want to pursue it. I'm grateful that, even though I'm not on the same route as they are, I still have their full support in achieving my goal of becoming a professional engineer. Hopefully, my name will be preceded by the title of engineer in the near future.

A big family means a blessing. Harmony circulates as full love and support are given. While, making the genogram, I realized that who I am right now was molded within the big circle I belong. What journey I am pursuing at this stage is dedicated to them as they never get tired of supporting me. Although my father died, strength still come into top as we lend hand to each other through ups and downs.  I recognized that it is because of their help that I am able to succeed. That is why I always seem to do my part to help them and show them that their support, whether financial or otherwise, is valuable.

As I continue to grow up and slowly perceiving emotional development, I can say that I am possessing high EQ. Responding into a situation considering emotions is common in me. I always watch my words, make thoughts carefully, and take actions seriously. Aside from being aware on my emotions, I also consider other person’s feelings. Whenever they open up their problems, I listen to them and not forming judgments that may hurt them. Whenever there are arguments, I pause and think before speaking in order to stop the problem between the two sides. In times of trouble, I always lend a hand in order to cheer others up. For me, recognizing the power of emotions makes you a high EQ person.

My love language is spending quality time with the people I love. I take time to do interesting activities and stuffs with my family, friends, and special someone. I agree with the love language result as it matched with the love language I am having right now. Having quality time with the people you’re close with is a blessing. I still remember the time when me and my friends went to Porto Laiya Beach and Resort in San Juan, Batangas using bike and spent quality time together through swimming, eating, travelling, and taking pictures. I also remember the time when I went to Saint Padre Pio Shrine with my family. We spent quality time together through praying, visiting sacred places and as usual, taking memorable pictures. Lastly, I’ll never forget every single moment that me and my special someone cherished together. Every time I spent with the people I love will forever live in my mind and heart.💖

I am John Lloyd S. Delen. A man who loves to explore different things about life. A man who loves to serve God through music and dance. A son who really loves his parents and make them proud. An understanding brother and friend that you can approach to whenever there is a problem. The personality I have right now came from my bad experiences back then.

Although my past are full of unfortunate experiences, it doesn't affect the way I live right now. Those experiences shaped me a lot. These things pushed me to be strong and learn to value life. As I grew older, I also learned how to appreciate God and his blessings. However, this doesn't mean that I am perfect. I also commit mistakes either intentionaly or unintentionaly. I am full of imperfections but I do whatever what's right.

In spite of the fact that I am imperfect, I am blessed to have God-given talents, skills, and abilities. Not to be smug, I am good at singing, dancing, composing songs, playing guitar, playing piano and creating poems. I am a member of Hiraya Vocal Ensemble, YFC-Chapter C Music Ministry, and J3 Acoustic Band. When it comes to dance, I am one of the ten members of Off Limit Dance Group. In sport, some people say that I am good at playing basketball, volleyball, and badminton. In terms of physical appearance, I can say that I have a good looking face, brown eyes, sharp nose, and tall height. On the other hand, when it comes to internal qualities, I can say that I am kind, diligent, unique, responsible, caring, faithful, helpful,lovable, friendly, and God-oriented.

All I have right now are all given by God. I believe that everything happens for reason either it can change you or it can pull you down. Appreciate everything about yourself and others. All individuals are unique so stop comparing yourselves to others. Just be who you are because someone will find your uniqueness attractive.❤

Reflecting Personality

           ENFJ or “The Protagonist” matches what kind of personality do I have. It is true that I am that kind of person who lives to serve a greater purpose in life. I love to change everything in a positive way. I always take the opportunity to do what’s right. I am passionate about the things I love to do as they enhance not just only my skills but also my thoughts. Inspiring people with God-given abilities and talents and taking time to pursue hobbies are the things I used to do. In terms of socialization, connecting with other people makes me feel alive and purposeful. Moreover, I usually find fulfillment on what I love and what I desire considering others sake. I am like a caterpillar, living for a purpose and waiting for the right time to transform and fly high as a butterfly. I am the protagonist of my own story.
