I am a transgender woman living in a refugee camp in South Sudan under UNHCR with 13 other transgender women. During Pride a time meant for visibility, dignity, and love our reality is painfully different. While others celebrate, we are struggling simply to survive.

Living openly as transgender here is dangerous and exhausting. Pride is not a celebration for us, it is a reminder of how unsafe and unseen we are. We face discrimination, fear, and daily hardship, yet we continue to exist with courage.

Access to food, medication, and safe shelter is extremely limited. We urgently need $300 for basic survival. Any support, no matter how small, would mean everything. Thank you for standing with us and honoring the true meaning of Pride through compassion and solidarity.

LGBTIQ+ refugees in South Sudan face serious challenges, including food insecurity, unsafe housing, limited healthcare, and protection risks. Many need urgent support while seeking safety and assistance.

Campaign Objective:

The $10 Campaign aims to mobilize supporters worldwide to donate $10 to help provide refugees with:

Food and hygiene supplies

Safe temporary shelter

Emergency medical support

Transport and essential services

Psychosocial and protection support

Target:
