continued from here @johtosgoldenboy He smiled and nodded with a small laugh. “That’s right. They figured you needed one of the best and two of them had my number so they were able to call me first. They just said you were a dragon trainer that once met Ol’ Steven Stone. Hmm guessed they chose right. I figure you need me for a big job then? ”He shakes her hand and recalled his partner pokemon. “Zinnia… is that name Sinnohian?”

Zinnia is taken aback at the suggestion her name has Sinnoh origins. Yes, he isn’t wrong though he comes that region though this was before the name of Hisuan was said. “Yeah, I need someone strong. I’ve… got a challenge. One that isn’t for the faint of heart.” She pauses and takes a glance upon Aster. He pulls out her pokedex and show Ethan the entry.

Zinnia figures he will turn down the offer, as most have done thus far. She knows they probable won’t get to battle it again soon, but hopefully back onto the trail of her redemption.

Ethan smiled at the shock expression, glad to be able to impress the girl even slightly after Gold’s entrance. He was a bit of a historian now after all the missions he had taken for the professors. “Not for the faint of heart... sounds like a serious beast. There not many in Kanto and Johto stronger than me so at least there’s that.” He walked over to her and looked at the shadowy image her pokedex had, He frowned... something about this pokemon reminded him of Lugia the time he met the legend. “...I’ll help you. But first I need to know why you are trying to do this. The game of catching legendaries isn’t one for most people alive. They can be dangerous.”

Ethan retook control and rubbed his ears as they had popped thanks to the fall. He was silently cursing to himself when he saw a girl coming towards him. “Hiya!! You must be the dragon girl I heard about from the professors! Sorry about the volume, uhh the fall kind of knocked my hearing a bit out!” He fixed his hearing and rubbed his head after a minute. “I’m Ethan, nice to meet you.”

“Dragon… Girl?” Zinnia paused for a moment then remembered her time in Sinnoh with Cynthia and Steven. Man, she really reminisces of those good ol’ days. “Oh, i assume that one dude named after a tree sent ya over here? Good, i’m needin’ someone who can hold their own anyways.” Zinnia walks up to Ethan and says, “Zinnia, nice to meet ya.” She offers her hand to him.

Gold was laying on his back, a stick of jerky in his mouth as Skarmory was flying him to meet up with a girl that the professor said he may find interesting. She claimed to have come from another world or something. Ethan’s voice broke through the sound of the winds and Gold groaned as he said that if he wasn’t gonna fly seriously then let him take control again.

“Ugh how annoying. Fine fine I’m going!” He shook his head and slipped on his goggles as he ordered Skarmory to speed up and they shot off like a bullet. They were coming up on Leaf Tornado and Gold jumped off with a smirk. As he neared the ground he ordered for Skarmory to use gust and the small wind allowed him to float and break the fall. He dusted himself off, his entrance being heavily unneeded. “And that is how it’s done Ethan.”

Zinnia looks upon what appaers to be a skarmory, but one carrying a small person. They jump off and and stood there, dusting themeselves, no, himself off. “Ahh… The boy wonder has arrived.” Zinnia starts walking towards him.

A New Beginning. (Open RP)

Two years after the events of Team Rocket, Blue had finally settled down as the new assistant of Professor Oak. Not that she minded the slow pace, but she did miss the old days of traveling around. A part of her envied Green and Red. Even though Red was still Champion he still got to leave the region once and a while, as Green was running his Gym he could still leave while his Pokémon watched the gym. But her, she was stuck behind a desk most of the day, mostly looking over paperwork or research papers from other Professors from other regions. Leaning back in her chair she let out a sigh. Sitting all day was getting tiring as her body started to hurt. Standing up, she pushed her chair back, Blue headed to the back yard. Maybe getting some fresh air would help. Stepping out, a smile spread across her lips. Her Pokémon played around with the others Professor Oak had around. Her Blasty played around with the squirtles in the pond, as Jiggly played around with the smaller Pokémon around. This is what she needed. This made everything worth this job. Her Pokémon were happy and that was all she could ever ask for. There was still a small part of her that wanted to go on an adventure once again but she thought that just because she hadn’t seen her childhood friends in a couple of years. Maybe she would phone them to see how thing were going. At least phone Red since Green was just in the next town over but who knew if he was even at the gym or out around the region. Shaking her head she couldn’t help but laugh. The two haven’t change in the time she had known them. She didn’t think either of them could ever stay put if their life depended on it. Of course at one point she thought the same of herself, and look at her now. Back in her home town as an assistant to the professor.

“Hmm I guess I shouldn’t have really expected a super drastic change between Kanto and Johto, after all, they are kind of one huge region in a way but I was hoping for volcanos and super crazy stuff for my first journey outside of Johto. Then again, we did only travel a tiny bit.” Ethan checked his ticket for the S.S. Anne and made double sure of the time he had before he was to return to Johto to finish the gym challenge. “Three days Exbo. Pallet Town isn’t too much farther so maybe we should stay a while and see if we can talk with the professor or maybe Green. They should know if there’s any logic behind Team Rocket’s movements in Johto. Hopefully things haven’t started up here too…” He sighed and rubbed his head. “Ugh… Gold is restless, wanting to battle anything right now just to relieve his boredom…” They walked through Viridian City, glancing at the pokemon gym, Green’s Gym now. “I wonder why he agreed to take that one… not like he couldn’t make his own gym in Pallet.”

Shrugging off the question, Ethan walked down the path to the sleepy little town and smiled at some new trainers beginning their journeys. Gold coming out for a bit to give advice on battles and to really fire them up for the gyms though only one wanted to try the challenge and the others wanted to try other things. Pallet Town was peaceful, simple but peaceful. Maybe that image was why Green refused to make a gym there, to ensure that the town stayed the way it was meant to be. “Actually it reminds me of New Bark huh pal?” Exbo nodded and pointed at a large building that stood out. “That must be the lab! I wonder if Oak will recognize me! I bet Elm just loves to brag about me and Lyra. Ooo think he’ll let us see Red’s pokemon?!” Exbo rolled his eyes at his trainer’s fan mentality but it did drive the boy to start running towards the lab. He saw the backyard and tried to change direction but slipped with Exbo jumping off his head, sensing the fall. Ethan slapped right into the fence and Gold was the one who came out. “Good running idiot…”

Hearing the commotion, Blue turned her head to the boy near the fence. Laughter erupted from the young woman. Making her way over the young boy, she shook her head laughing to herself. “Are you alright? Excited to start out your journey? You do look a little too old to be first starting out though. Nothing wrong about that .” She said extending her hand out to the young boy. “Now if you go around the fence you will see the entrance of the to the lab.” No need for him to trip and slip again. Releasing his hand, Blue pointed to the entrance before she headed in the back entrance. Walking into the lab once more she started to look for the professor. Rolling her eyes at the note she had found from him. “Great I have to turn the poor kid away since he decided to take off for a bit.” Running her hands though her hair she leaned against the desk thinking of what she could do at this point. “I guess I could see what he really wants. He might not want a Pokémon. Ha there I go again assuming things.” Shaking her head, she pushed herself off the desk and headed for the front of the lab. Smiling as the boy entered the lab. “I’m sorry to inform you that Professor Oak is out for the moment but I can try and help you if you wish.” Blue tried to act as professional as possible. “Oh I nearly forgot to introduce myself! I’m Blue, Professor Oak’s newest assistant. I’ll try and assist you in any way I can~.” She said giggling some. “I hope you didn’t have to travel far. I just hope I’m not disappointing if you had come all this way to see the professor~.” She teased. A habit that was a hard to break. “If you want while you are here your Pokémon can play outside with the others. All the Pokémon out there are very friendly and they would love someone else to play with. That’s if you feel comfortable parting with him for a bit.” She asked pointing to the back door.

Gold worked to untangle his limbs from the fence and looked up, hearing someone’s laugh. “Oh hell no I’m not the one getting embarrassed like this!” He forced Ethan back out and the boy groaned a bit in pain, yelping when the woman walked over and surprised him. He opened his mouth to explain who he was and that he was already a trainer but Exbo ran over with his hat and he took it and put it back on. “Thanks pal.” He blushed a bit and took the hand offered, getting back on his feet. The woman was something that was for sure but she also looked familiar, he had seen her before. “O-oh right! Right! I’ll be right there! He jogged off towards the entrance while Exbo jumped back onto his shoulders snickering. “I don’t wanna hear it from you young mon, Gold is still making fun of me. Besides, I’m blushing because I messed up not her looks though… I can’t remember where I’ve seen her face…” He entered the lab and looked around. A lot like Elm’s but he was a student of Oaks so that made sense.

Ethan groaned a bit and shook his head, looking at his pokegear and checking the radio where Oak could be heard. “Goldenrod.” He sighed but then looked over and smiled. “Oh I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to imply anything! Professor Elm in Johto sent me with an egg and some research he wanted Oak to have. I have three days here in Kanto so I was trying to finish the job and see what the region could offer, but I get easily distracted as you saw outside heh.” He rubbed his head with a chuckle. His face was one of shock as she said her and he rushed over excitedly, taking one of her hands, shaking it. “THAT WAS IT! You’re one of Kanto’s four heroes! I saw your match in the league and I saw newspapers of the things you and your friends did! It was all so cool! It even impressed Gol- uhh a friend!” He blinked and quickly let her go, stepping back and rubbing his head again. “Sorry about that… Oh Exbo, go on out and I’ll let Aibo out too.” His partner nodded and waved at Blue before running outside with Ethan’s AIpom running after him.

Listening to the radio broadcast, Blue couldn’t help but feel annoyed. He couldn’t even tell her he was taking off again. Sighing softly as she ran her fingers though her hair. “I’m the one who should be sorry. I did assume first. Well you can leave the egg with me and as well as the research. I’ll set it on his desk and as for the egg. I think you should hold on to it. Eggs hatch faster when its with a trainer. Oak would say the same.” She said smiling trying not to be annoyed with her boss for the who knows what time. A blush rose on her cheeks. Here she had always thought she could never live down her past. “Haha really now. I never thought anyone from a different region would be praising me.” Blue replied rubbing the back of her head. A smirk played at her lips. “Don’t be. Not every day I get a cutie like you holding my hand.” She teased. Blue waved to the Pokémon before turn around. “If you follow me I can lead you to the lounge. “I can give you directions to places to see before you head out.” Tapping her chin she started to think. “I should have an extra town map around here somewhere. I tend to keep my old one here in the lab for just this event. Kids who come to start their journey’s usually have a map but you never know.” Blue would never admit it but she was sad to see the young boy leave so soon. She rather enjoyed the company, not that she had very many people come though. Green was always off dealing with the gym or whatever else he had going on. Red well Red was either training up in Mount Silver or defending his title as Champion, so with him being here it was nice to not feel alone.

He looked up seeing her expression, having seen it on the faces of other women through his journey. Funnily enough it was that expression that led him to helping a husband look for a gift for his wife all day. “I suppose he’s into leaving randomly? I mean I can understand, leaving like that can make him feel young like in his younger days or maybe he was running late but then again you should talk more with a partner.” He smiled and shook his head. “Don’t be sorry! You were just trying to help me.” He handed her the notes and pulled out the egg, having kept it under his jacket and against his chest. “Here is the little one! Oh is that true? I’ll carry it for the next few days then and show off what it is when it’s ready.” He laughed see her reaction to his praise. “Are you joking! You’re a legend just as much as Red or Green! Without you they wouldn’t have gotten as far as they did.” He blushed red at the tease and looked away. “I’m just a big fan heh.”

“On my way!” He followed her and waved at his partners as they ran off to talk and play with the other pokemon. “Thanks! It’s my first time in Kanto so I was hoping to see some culture or some fun places you know? Really? I think my Pokegear 2 can scan maps to update itself. I actually just passed by some kids like that. I gave them some battle advice and I think they’ll be great trainers!” he looked around the lab and it seemed… lonely. Rather dull. He saw Blue looking for her map and he wondered if maybe, seeing that she had nothing better to do… “Hey umm Blue! I uhh was wondering if you.. had any other business today? I mean it’s a nice day and all and… well maps and gps are good and everything but you can’t ever really beat the helpfulness of a guide and the professor does say how going out with people is the smartest thing… If you are free maybe you can show me around? I can pay for anything.”

She raised an eyebrow to him calling the professor her partner. “My partner… You do realize he is my boss only.” She stated waving him off. “The old man always leaves unannounced. Well at least he doesn’t let me know his schedule most of the time.” Blue added sighing once again at his antics. “But once it hatches you should make your way back here to show what hatched. I’m sure the professor would love to see what’s hatched.” Smirking to the blushing boy, the woman poked his cheeks. “You are too kind. Well I didn’t make it easy on the two boys at first when we first started out. But you’re right the two boys couldn’t defeat team rocket with out me.” She said laughing. “I don’t mind having a cute fan~.” She said, giving him a wink.

Digging out the map she turned to the boy smiling as she handed him the map. “Here is an updated version of the map. You should be able to scan this to your pokegear just fine.” Tilting her head to his request, she started to think about it. It would be fun to take a day off. It has been slow anyways. “I’ll take you up on your offer under one condition. You still haven’t told me your name. I’d like to know the name of the guy who’s taking me out~.” She slightly teased. Half of her was happy to being getting out and the other half of her was happy to have some company. “So where do you want to see first. I know Kanto like the back of my hand.” She said taking off her lab coat. “We can take the gate out back once we get our pokemon.”

“Just your boss? You two aren’t friends? I thought you were actually gonna take over for him once he wants to retire, though he definitely doesn’t seem the type to want to. The first time I met him, he seemed pretty strict about his age haha. Elm even tries not to mention it, afraid that Oak is always watching.” He laughed and then sighed, crossing his arms. “I know the feeling but in reverse. I could just be on a vacation when Professor Elm calls me to check some new discovery to to collect info in some new region. Or make deliveries that he doesn’t have time for. He could give me some heads up sometimes you know?” He nodded and then put his arms behind his head. “I can send him the little one to examine and he could send it back. So maaaybe I should wander Kanto a bit….” His blush intensified and he coughed trying to regain composure. “W-well if you don’t mind….”

He gladly took the map and used his pokegear to scan it into his data but also decided to keep the map just in case. “All scanned and ready for exploring!” He rubbed his head nervously, hoping he hadn’t come out too strong asking her for an uhh not-date. A simple guiding tour.. yeah. He smiled and chuckled at her condition with a small blush. “I’m E-E….” He felt his head hurt as Gold began to act up. “E-Ethan! Ethan Gold.” He threw a fist in the air when she was taking off her coat. “Oh uhh I didn’t think about that heh… Somewhere fun and with food… Celadon City?”

“Haha well that’s a long story. When I first met the professor I kind of stole a Pokémon from him. It’s the reason why I have Blasty actually.” Blue said rubbing the back of her head, a slight blush coming across her cheeks. “He did forgive me and gave me a pokedex.” Blue started to laugh some. “I wonder what’s got you wanting to hang around Kanto more. I wonder of if the Pokémon here has you interested or is it a girl you’ve helped here.” She teased, placing her hand on her chin. “Haha I don’t mind one bit at all. Not one bit actually.” “Ethan Gold huh. Well its a pleasure to meet you.” She said, giving him a soft smile. “You sure you want to go to Celadon City. It’s the biggest city in the region. If you don’t have a place to stay, they have a beautiful hotel and if you don’t want to stay in the hotel you can always sleep in the spare room Oak has here in the lab. That way your Pokémon can continue to play around with the others outside. I won’t be taking any of mine with me so if you want you can leave them in the back.” She said hanging up her coat. “You ready for our little date.~” She teased.

He blinked as she told her story and he got flashback to his rival/sometimes friend Silver who kind of did the exact same thing. Weird deja vu. “Ehh you know funnily enough that is not the first time I had heard of that happening… I think I may not be the only fan of yours that was in Johto.” He smiled seeing her own blush, happy to see she isn’t impossible to make embarrassed. He blushed and coughed looking to the side. “Why not both…?” He looked back and smiled. “Heh somehow I think I had a feeling you wouldn’t.

“Pleasure’s all mine Miss Blue.” He playfully bowed and smiled back. “I think I’ve seen bigger with Goldenrod but honestly that place is so noisy I don’t know how anyone stays there. I heard Celadon has a game corner, food, concerts, a bunch of stuff really so it sounds fun. Hmm a nice hotel huh? That sounds nice but then again…” He looked outside and smiled. “My pokemon can have fun here. Maybe if he doesn’t mind I can spend the night here. Yeah I suppose that it can be just us then.” He blushed and nodded eagerly. “Ready and willing!”

“Oh you mean my little Silver. He is just as naughty as I was when I was younger.” Blue started to laugh some. Memories of their childhood flashed in her mind. Snapping back into reality, she cursed herself for even acting embarrassed around someone of the opposite sex. Composing herself once more. Smirking again to his reaction she leaned in. “Oh both now. Now I’m kind of sad that another girl has caught your eye.” She said giving him a fake pout. Laughing some she shook her head. “It’s actually kind of nice to have someone see past my past.” Rubbing the back of her head, she gave him a small smile. “Haha now no need to bow to me. I’m sure soon the pleasure will be all mine.” He was just too easy to make flustered. She honestly enjoyed making the poor boy blush like crazy. “I think Goldenrod is bigger but yeah has too much people and noise for my taste. Actually they have more then that. They have a gym that specializes in grass type Pokémon. Erika is a sweetheart.” Looking out to the pokemon playing together, Blue couldn’t help but smile. “He won’t mind. It’s the reason he keeps a spare room. As he puts it. ‘You never know when a trainer in need will stop by.’“ Blue extend her hand to him. “Come on I know a fast way of getting to Celadon.”

Ethan made a face when Silver was mentioned by name and nodded. “Yeah him. He was my greatest rival outside Team Rocket… wait…. your little Silver?!” He said in shock as he realized he was on a not-date with his rival’s sister figure. ‘Oh he’s gonna kill me…’ he thought as he shook his head to ignore the thought. He came back just in time to lean back and rub his head as she leaned in towards him. He blushed and shook his head. “I-I didn’t mean! Uhh I meant that… oh crud…” He cursed and hide his blushing face. Looking back at her, he gently touched her shoulder. “We all do things we regret, it’s how we learn right? You’re not the same as you were. You’re a hero as far as I’m concerned.”

“A-are you gonna be doing this all day? I may need to carry some cold water if that’s the case heh…” He rubbed his cheek, trying to regain some control of himself and took a deep breath. “Goldenrod is nice, Whitney is a demon to battle though and the whole city being taken over by a gang wasn’t great either. The people are nice enough. Plenty to see. Hmm a gym huh? I may have to look into it sometime. A friend of yours?” He nodded and then flashed her a smile. “Then I’ll take it, maybe I can make you some breakfast then huh?” He chuckled and smiled taking her hand.”

“Aw he gave you trouble. I’ll have to talk to him the next time I see him.” She nodded her head smiling. “Yep my little Silver. He can be a handful at times but he is the greatest friend you could ever ask for once you break his shell that is.” He was such a handful when they were younger. Laughing at his reaction, she shook her head smiling. He really was too easy. Her eyes went wide as he placed a hand on her shoulder. This was something she wasn’t used to. At least not yet. “Thanks for the pep talk Ethan. You really are a good kid. I should keep you around. But I’m sure Professor Elm will have something to say about that.” “I might just keep it up. But for now I’ll give you a break for now at least.” Leading him out of the Lab, Blue turned towards the gates of Pallet Town. “I’ve heard of that Whitney. Doesn’t she run out of her own gym crying every time she looses? Well at least she has a body~” Blue joked some. “A gang huh. I wonder why Red isn’t doing anything about it. Or even Lance for that matter. The people should always be safe in their towns or cities. Yes Erika is a good friend of mine. You really should check out her gym while we are there.” Glancing over to him she couldn’t help but giggle. “Hmm you are taking me out and going to make me breakfast in the morning? Are you sure this isn’t a date~. Haha last time I tease you for today.”

“He and I… were mutually jerks to each other. I would like to say he started it but I suppose I can’t let him take all the blame. Besides I think he just didn’t like me as my friend Lyra and him got along just fine. I actually think he has a crush on her.” He crossed his arms in thought. “I suppose you have a point, when all the chips were down, I was happy to have him by my side along with Lyra to finish off Team Rocket.” He smiled thinking back at how they finally all won and put an end to the admins’ plans. He winked at her and nodded. “Anytime Blue. Heh well if you want me to spend more time over here I’m sure I could ask for time off and I can help you out for a while.”

He chuckled a bit and decided that he really shouldn’t expect anything else from the girl after all he had seen from her. She likes her games. He looked around Pallet as they walked along. “Yeah she does. Her gym is also a mess of pinks and whites but while a bit of a baby, she also almost never loses. She is a demon in battles. I won because I was lucky honestly.” He blushed a bit. “Heh she does yeah…. don’t tell her I said that. She has a big ego already.” He waved off the worry. “They were only in charge for a while and Red I doubt heard about it while Lance had to check in with the police. Leaving us to deal with the mess. That’s cool I’d love to check it out.” He blushed a bit more and rubbed his head. “W-well…would you like it to be?”

Blue couldn’t help but laugh at his confession. Of course they would be jerks to each other. “So my little Silver finally got over his crush and has moved on. It’s about time honestly. That boy needed to find someone else other then me. It was never going to happen.” A blush crept up on her cheeks, she did well this time to hide it with her hair. “I’m sure the professor would love having a current degree holder around. He might just talk your ear off about Johto Pokémon though.” She said keeping her composer up on the outside. On the inside was another story. Never had someone turned the tables on her before. She kind of liked it, someone finally had the courage to twist things around on her.

Looking a head, mostly to avoid his gaze, she kept up her pace. It wouldn’t be long till they reached the forest. God did she hate that place. “I’ve heard she’s also a demon in other places other then her gym. That girl loves to do that triathlon you guys have over there. She maybe hot but I won’t lie the girl scares the daylight out of me with that competitiveness she has. It’s also not too surprising her gym is mostly pink and white. I wouldn’t expect anything more then that.” Giggling at his respond, she put a finger to her lips. “My lips are sealed. Wouldn’t want her getting a bigger ego then Green.” Breathing a small sigh of relief, Blue was happy to hear they had been dealt with. “Good since they should be finishing that train to Kanto soon. We wouldn’t want them making their way over here anytime soon.” Bitting her lip at his question, she avoided his gaze. No one had the nerve to ask her on a real date like this and here he was. “Uh I guess we can haha. Not everyday a fan takes me out for an evening of fun.” She said trying to keep a calm composer.

He used to like you too…-too much or something?” He asked a bit curious as he honestly didn’t know too much about Silver other than the fact of who his father was, the admins of Team Rocket helped raise him, and that he was left behind with the rest of Team Rocket after Red defeated Giovanni. “So wait if he had a crush on you, he trusted you… did you two grow up together?” He asked and realized what that implied. “Team Rocket… they… did something to you… didn’t they? He asked and then shook his head. “No. No need to answer that. This is a time for fun not pain. We can leave that stuff behind tonight.” He didn’t notice the change in his partner and laughed. “I doubt he talks as much as Elm or Lyra so I’ll tell him all he wants to know… but what about you? Anything you could want me to do while here?” He asked with a smile laugh.

Ethan saw the forest coming up ahead and jogged a bit to stay beside her, gently squeezing her hand. He coughed and blushed red. “W-well I’m sure she’s quite… OH! You mean- the Triathlon! Of course! I won a few awards at the place, it’s fun for your pokemon and you get cool stuff. Not to mention the outfits… but yeah she’s pretty scary. Not unlike Sabrina around here. I hear she isn’t a ball of sunshine herself.” He nodded having seen the train and helping Silver stop a bombing of the tracks. “I saw the train, it will sure make things a lot easier for the people of both our regions. I won’t let any rocket return to Kanto. That’s a promise.” He smiled brightly once she agreed and he took both her hands, moving ahead of her by a step and giving a wink. “I’m gonna make this the best date of your life!”

Blue nodded her head giving him a small smile. Silver used to be so cute when he would follow her around like a lost puppy. “Of course he trusted me. I guess you can say we did when we were younger…” She trailed off. Holding her arm, Blue looked away. Not wanting to reveal hers or Silvers past. It wasn’t hers to fully tell without Silver being there to tell his parts. Giving him a smile, she placed a hand on his head. “Please don’t worry about it or think too much about it either. If Silver wishes to tell you more about our shared pass then that’s fine with me. As for Oak, once you get him started he won’t stop. I sometimes have to walk away from him.” She stated laughing. Smiling as he squeezed her hand, she soon started laughing more. “Hey I may make flirty jokes but this wasn’t one of them. You really should take your head out of the gutter. Yes I’ve heard she’s quite the demon when it comes to that. I’d never want to go up against her. She is pretty active. The outfits are kind of cute.” The corners of her lips turned upwards. “Sabrina is hard to get to know at first. But when you are able to penetrate her hard shell she’s very…” Her cheeks turned a bright pink. “Ah anyways, yes I can’t wait for the train to finish. I’ve been meaning to head to Johto for a bit. Isnt team rocket disbanded?” She asked raising an eyebrow. Stopping in her tracks she looked to him, giving him a small giggle. “Well I sure hope you can keep that promise.”

He nodded in understanding, there was a story there but it was a personal one, definitely not one that inspired fun he wagered. “I understand. You should know though that I think he’s happy now. At peace at least and after apologizing to Elm thanks to Lyra, I think the two will get closer. I’m glad for them, he always did seem to like her bubbly and argumentive personality. She evens him out I think.” He laughed and leaned back a bit. “Yeah I think all the professors may be the same way but Elm says that the younger ones like Sycamore and Jupiter are much more relaxed and stick to more casual conversation while Oak and Rowan often argue about something or another.”

“M-my head is not in the gutter! I’m just saying that if I had to place a bet on a gym leaders love life being out like that.... well I may have chosen Whitney.” He groaned thinking back to when he faced her in a running contest. “I don’t know how she does it honestly. she has like nine of the records at that place. Gold ribbons and the like. Yeah I love running in the blue sweatpants. I remember the first time I went I was with Silver and we raced ending in a tie for second place, Lyra beat us...” He tilted his head at how she trailed off talking about Sabrina and chuckled. “There are now! But not all the admins were captured... I can hope they all give up but the Rockets are pretty dedicated.” He nodded and tapped a fist against his chest. “I can and will.”

A New Beginning. (Open RP)

Two years after the events of Team Rocket, Blue had finally settled down as the new assistant of Professor Oak. Not that she minded the slow pace, but she did miss the old days of traveling around. A part of her envied Green and Red. Even though Red was still Champion he still got to leave the region once and a while, as Green was running his Gym he could still leave while his Pokémon watched the gym. But her, she was stuck behind a desk most of the day, mostly looking over paperwork or research papers from other Professors from other regions. Leaning back in her chair she let out a sigh. Sitting all day was getting tiring as her body started to hurt. Standing up, she pushed her chair back, Blue headed to the back yard. Maybe getting some fresh air would help. Stepping out, a smile spread across her lips. Her Pokémon played around with the others Professor Oak had around. Her Blasty played around with the squirtles in the pond, as Jiggly played around with the smaller Pokémon around. This is what she needed. This made everything worth this job. Her Pokémon were happy and that was all she could ever ask for. There was still a small part of her that wanted to go on an adventure once again but she thought that just because she hadn’t seen her childhood friends in a couple of years. Maybe she would phone them to see how thing were going. At least phone Red since Green was just in the next town over but who knew if he was even at the gym or out around the region. Shaking her head she couldn’t help but laugh. The two haven’t change in the time she had known them. She didn’t think either of them could ever stay put if their life depended on it. Of course at one point she thought the same of herself, and look at her now. Back in her home town as an assistant to the professor.

“Hmm I guess I shouldn’t have really expected a super drastic change between Kanto and Johto, after all, they are kind of one huge region in a way but I was hoping for volcanos and super crazy stuff for my first journey outside of Johto. Then again, we did only travel a tiny bit.” Ethan checked his ticket for the S.S. Anne and made double sure of the time he had before he was to return to Johto to finish the gym challenge. “Three days Exbo. Pallet Town isn’t too much farther so maybe we should stay a while and see if we can talk with the professor or maybe Green. They should know if there’s any logic behind Team Rocket’s movements in Johto. Hopefully things haven’t started up here too…” He sighed and rubbed his head. “Ugh… Gold is restless, wanting to battle anything right now just to relieve his boredom…” They walked through Viridian City, glancing at the pokemon gym, Green’s Gym now. “I wonder why he agreed to take that one… not like he couldn’t make his own gym in Pallet.”

Shrugging off the question, Ethan walked down the path to the sleepy little town and smiled at some new trainers beginning their journeys. Gold coming out for a bit to give advice on battles and to really fire them up for the gyms though only one wanted to try the challenge and the others wanted to try other things. Pallet Town was peaceful, simple but peaceful. Maybe that image was why Green refused to make a gym there, to ensure that the town stayed the way it was meant to be. “Actually it reminds me of New Bark huh pal?” Exbo nodded and pointed at a large building that stood out. “That must be the lab! I wonder if Oak will recognize me! I bet Elm just loves to brag about me and Lyra. Ooo think he’ll let us see Red’s pokemon?!” Exbo rolled his eyes at his trainer’s fan mentality but it did drive the boy to start running towards the lab. He saw the backyard and tried to change direction but slipped with Exbo jumping off his head, sensing the fall. Ethan slapped right into the fence and Gold was the one who came out. “Good running idiot…”

Hearing the commotion, Blue turned her head to the boy near the fence. Laughter erupted from the young woman. Making her way over the young boy, she shook her head laughing to herself. “Are you alright? Excited to start out your journey? You do look a little too old to be first starting out though. Nothing wrong about that .” She said extending her hand out to the young boy. “Now if you go around the fence you will see the entrance of the to the lab.” No need for him to trip and slip again. Releasing his hand, Blue pointed to the entrance before she headed in the back entrance. Walking into the lab once more she started to look for the professor. Rolling her eyes at the note she had found from him. “Great I have to turn the poor kid away since he decided to take off for a bit.” Running her hands though her hair she leaned against the desk thinking of what she could do at this point. “I guess I could see what he really wants. He might not want a Pokémon. Ha there I go again assuming things.” Shaking her head, she pushed herself off the desk and headed for the front of the lab. Smiling as the boy entered the lab. “I’m sorry to inform you that Professor Oak is out for the moment but I can try and help you if you wish.” Blue tried to act as professional as possible. “Oh I nearly forgot to introduce myself! I’m Blue, Professor Oak’s newest assistant. I’ll try and assist you in any way I can~.” She said giggling some. “I hope you didn’t have to travel far. I just hope I’m not disappointing if you had come all this way to see the professor~.” She teased. A habit that was a hard to break. “If you want while you are here your Pokémon can play outside with the others. All the Pokémon out there are very friendly and they would love someone else to play with. That’s if you feel comfortable parting with him for a bit.” She asked pointing to the back door.

Gold worked to untangle his limbs from the fence and looked up, hearing someone’s laugh. “Oh hell no I’m not the one getting embarrassed like this!” He forced Ethan back out and the boy groaned a bit in pain, yelping when the woman walked over and surprised him. He opened his mouth to explain who he was and that he was already a trainer but Exbo ran over with his hat and he took it and put it back on. “Thanks pal.” He blushed a bit and took the hand offered, getting back on his feet. The woman was something that was for sure but she also looked familiar, he had seen her before. “O-oh right! Right! I’ll be right there! He jogged off towards the entrance while Exbo jumped back onto his shoulders snickering. “I don’t wanna hear it from you young mon, Gold is still making fun of me. Besides, I’m blushing because I messed up not her looks though… I can’t remember where I’ve seen her face…” He entered the lab and looked around. A lot like Elm’s but he was a student of Oaks so that made sense.

Ethan groaned a bit and shook his head, looking at his pokegear and checking the radio where Oak could be heard. “Goldenrod.” He sighed but then looked over and smiled. “Oh I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to imply anything! Professor Elm in Johto sent me with an egg and some research he wanted Oak to have. I have three days here in Kanto so I was trying to finish the job and see what the region could offer, but I get easily distracted as you saw outside heh.” He rubbed his head with a chuckle. His face was one of shock as she said her and he rushed over excitedly, taking one of her hands, shaking it. “THAT WAS IT! You’re one of Kanto’s four heroes! I saw your match in the league and I saw newspapers of the things you and your friends did! It was all so cool! It even impressed Gol- uhh a friend!” He blinked and quickly let her go, stepping back and rubbing his head again. “Sorry about that… Oh Exbo, go on out and I’ll let Aibo out too.” His partner nodded and waved at Blue before running outside with Ethan’s AIpom running after him.

Listening to the radio broadcast, Blue couldn’t help but feel annoyed. He couldn’t even tell her he was taking off again. Sighing softly as she ran her fingers though her hair. “I’m the one who should be sorry. I did assume first. Well you can leave the egg with me and as well as the research. I’ll set it on his desk and as for the egg. I think you should hold on to it. Eggs hatch faster when its with a trainer. Oak would say the same.” She said smiling trying not to be annoyed with her boss for the who knows what time. A blush rose on her cheeks. Here she had always thought she could never live down her past. “Haha really now. I never thought anyone from a different region would be praising me.” Blue replied rubbing the back of her head. A smirk played at her lips. “Don’t be. Not every day I get a cutie like you holding my hand.” She teased. Blue waved to the Pokémon before turn around. “If you follow me I can lead you to the lounge. “I can give you directions to places to see before you head out.” Tapping her chin she started to think. “I should have an extra town map around here somewhere. I tend to keep my old one here in the lab for just this event. Kids who come to start their journey’s usually have a map but you never know.” Blue would never admit it but she was sad to see the young boy leave so soon. She rather enjoyed the company, not that she had very many people come though. Green was always off dealing with the gym or whatever else he had going on. Red well Red was either training up in Mount Silver or defending his title as Champion, so with him being here it was nice to not feel alone.

He looked up seeing her expression, having seen it on the faces of other women through his journey. Funnily enough it was that expression that led him to helping a husband look for a gift for his wife all day. “I suppose he’s into leaving randomly? I mean I can understand, leaving like that can make him feel young like in his younger days or maybe he was running late but then again you should talk more with a partner.” He smiled and shook his head. “Don’t be sorry! You were just trying to help me.” He handed her the notes and pulled out the egg, having kept it under his jacket and against his chest. “Here is the little one! Oh is that true? I’ll carry it for the next few days then and show off what it is when it’s ready.” He laughed see her reaction to his praise. “Are you joking! You’re a legend just as much as Red or Green! Without you they wouldn’t have gotten as far as they did.” He blushed red at the tease and looked away. “I’m just a big fan heh.”

“On my way!” He followed her and waved at his partners as they ran off to talk and play with the other pokemon. “Thanks! It’s my first time in Kanto so I was hoping to see some culture or some fun places you know? Really? I think my Pokegear 2 can scan maps to update itself. I actually just passed by some kids like that. I gave them some battle advice and I think they’ll be great trainers!” he looked around the lab and it seemed… lonely. Rather dull. He saw Blue looking for her map and he wondered if maybe, seeing that she had nothing better to do… “Hey umm Blue! I uhh was wondering if you.. had any other business today? I mean it’s a nice day and all and… well maps and gps are good and everything but you can’t ever really beat the helpfulness of a guide and the professor does say how going out with people is the smartest thing… If you are free maybe you can show me around? I can pay for anything.”

She raised an eyebrow to him calling the professor her partner. “My partner… You do realize he is my boss only.” She stated waving him off. “The old man always leaves unannounced. Well at least he doesn’t let me know his schedule most of the time.” Blue added sighing once again at his antics. “But once it hatches you should make your way back here to show what hatched. I’m sure the professor would love to see what’s hatched.” Smirking to the blushing boy, the woman poked his cheeks. “You are too kind. Well I didn’t make it easy on the two boys at first when we first started out. But you’re right the two boys couldn’t defeat team rocket with out me.” She said laughing. “I don’t mind having a cute fan~.” She said, giving him a wink.

Digging out the map she turned to the boy smiling as she handed him the map. “Here is an updated version of the map. You should be able to scan this to your pokegear just fine.” Tilting her head to his request, she started to think about it. It would be fun to take a day off. It has been slow anyways. “I’ll take you up on your offer under one condition. You still haven’t told me your name. I’d like to know the name of the guy who’s taking me out~.” She slightly teased. Half of her was happy to being getting out and the other half of her was happy to have some company. “So where do you want to see first. I know Kanto like the back of my hand.” She said taking off her lab coat. “We can take the gate out back once we get our pokemon.”

“Just your boss? You two aren’t friends? I thought you were actually gonna take over for him once he wants to retire, though he definitely doesn’t seem the type to want to. The first time I met him, he seemed pretty strict about his age haha. Elm even tries not to mention it, afraid that Oak is always watching.” He laughed and then sighed, crossing his arms. “I know the feeling but in reverse. I could just be on a vacation when Professor Elm calls me to check some new discovery to to collect info in some new region. Or make deliveries that he doesn’t have time for. He could give me some heads up sometimes you know?” He nodded and then put his arms behind his head. “I can send him the little one to examine and he could send it back. So maaaybe I should wander Kanto a bit….” His blush intensified and he coughed trying to regain composure. “W-well if you don’t mind….”

He gladly took the map and used his pokegear to scan it into his data but also decided to keep the map just in case. “All scanned and ready for exploring!” He rubbed his head nervously, hoping he hadn’t come out too strong asking her for an uhh not-date. A simple guiding tour.. yeah. He smiled and chuckled at her condition with a small blush. “I’m E-E….” He felt his head hurt as Gold began to act up. “E-Ethan! Ethan Gold.” He threw a fist in the air when she was taking off her coat. “Oh uhh I didn’t think about that heh… Somewhere fun and with food… Celadon City?”

“Haha well that’s a long story. When I first met the professor I kind of stole a Pokémon from him. It’s the reason why I have Blasty actually.” Blue said rubbing the back of her head, a slight blush coming across her cheeks. “He did forgive me and gave me a pokedex.” Blue started to laugh some. “I wonder what’s got you wanting to hang around Kanto more. I wonder of if the Pokémon here has you interested or is it a girl you’ve helped here.” She teased, placing her hand on her chin. “Haha I don’t mind one bit at all. Not one bit actually.” “Ethan Gold huh. Well its a pleasure to meet you.” She said, giving him a soft smile. “You sure you want to go to Celadon City. It’s the biggest city in the region. If you don’t have a place to stay, they have a beautiful hotel and if you don’t want to stay in the hotel you can always sleep in the spare room Oak has here in the lab. That way your Pokémon can continue to play around with the others outside. I won’t be taking any of mine with me so if you want you can leave them in the back.” She said hanging up her coat. “You ready for our little date.~” She teased.

He blinked as she told her story and he got flashback to his rival/sometimes friend Silver who kind of did the exact same thing. Weird deja vu. “Ehh you know funnily enough that is not the first time I had heard of that happening… I think I may not be the only fan of yours that was in Johto.” He smiled seeing her own blush, happy to see she isn’t impossible to make embarrassed. He blushed and coughed looking to the side. “Why not both…?” He looked back and smiled. “Heh somehow I think I had a feeling you wouldn’t.

“Pleasure’s all mine Miss Blue.” He playfully bowed and smiled back. “I think I’ve seen bigger with Goldenrod but honestly that place is so noisy I don’t know how anyone stays there. I heard Celadon has a game corner, food, concerts, a bunch of stuff really so it sounds fun. Hmm a nice hotel huh? That sounds nice but then again…” He looked outside and smiled. “My pokemon can have fun here. Maybe if he doesn’t mind I can spend the night here. Yeah I suppose that it can be just us then.” He blushed and nodded eagerly. “Ready and willing!”

“Oh you mean my little Silver. He is just as naughty as I was when I was younger.” Blue started to laugh some. Memories of their childhood flashed in her mind. Snapping back into reality, she cursed herself for even acting embarrassed around someone of the opposite sex. Composing herself once more. Smirking again to his reaction she leaned in. “Oh both now. Now I’m kind of sad that another girl has caught your eye.” She said giving him a fake pout. Laughing some she shook her head. “It’s actually kind of nice to have someone see past my past.” Rubbing the back of her head, she gave him a small smile. “Haha now no need to bow to me. I’m sure soon the pleasure will be all mine.” He was just too easy to make flustered. She honestly enjoyed making the poor boy blush like crazy. “I think Goldenrod is bigger but yeah has too much people and noise for my taste. Actually they have more then that. They have a gym that specializes in grass type Pokémon. Erika is a sweetheart.” Looking out to the pokemon playing together, Blue couldn’t help but smile. “He won’t mind. It’s the reason he keeps a spare room. As he puts it. ‘You never know when a trainer in need will stop by.’“ Blue extend her hand to him. “Come on I know a fast way of getting to Celadon.”

Ethan made a face when Silver was mentioned by name and nodded. “Yeah him. He was my greatest rival outside Team Rocket… wait…. your little Silver?!” He said in shock as he realized he was on a not-date with his rival’s sister figure. ‘Oh he’s gonna kill me…’ he thought as he shook his head to ignore the thought. He came back just in time to lean back and rub his head as she leaned in towards him. He blushed and shook his head. “I-I didn’t mean! Uhh I meant that… oh crud…” He cursed and hide his blushing face. Looking back at her, he gently touched her shoulder. “We all do things we regret, it’s how we learn right? You’re not the same as you were. You’re a hero as far as I’m concerned.”

“A-are you gonna be doing this all day? I may need to carry some cold water if that’s the case heh…” He rubbed his cheek, trying to regain some control of himself and took a deep breath. “Goldenrod is nice, Whitney is a demon to battle though and the whole city being taken over by a gang wasn’t great either. The people are nice enough. Plenty to see. Hmm a gym huh? I may have to look into it sometime. A friend of yours?” He nodded and then flashed her a smile. “Then I’ll take it, maybe I can make you some breakfast then huh?” He chuckled and smiled taking her hand.”

“Aw he gave you trouble. I’ll have to talk to him the next time I see him.” She nodded her head smiling. “Yep my little Silver. He can be a handful at times but he is the greatest friend you could ever ask for once you break his shell that is.” He was such a handful when they were younger. Laughing at his reaction, she shook her head smiling. He really was too easy. Her eyes went wide as he placed a hand on her shoulder. This was something she wasn’t used to. At least not yet. “Thanks for the pep talk Ethan. You really are a good kid. I should keep you around. But I’m sure Professor Elm will have something to say about that.” “I might just keep it up. But for now I’ll give you a break for now at least.” Leading him out of the Lab, Blue turned towards the gates of Pallet Town. “I’ve heard of that Whitney. Doesn’t she run out of her own gym crying every time she looses? Well at least she has a body~” Blue joked some. “A gang huh. I wonder why Red isn’t doing anything about it. Or even Lance for that matter. The people should always be safe in their towns or cities. Yes Erika is a good friend of mine. You really should check out her gym while we are there.” Glancing over to him she couldn’t help but giggle. “Hmm you are taking me out and going to make me breakfast in the morning? Are you sure this isn’t a date~. Haha last time I tease you for today.”

He winked at her and nodded. “Anytime Blue. Heh well if you want me to spend more time over here I’m sure I could ask for time off and I can help you out for a while.”

He chuckled a bit and decided that he really shouldn’t expect anything else from the girl after all he had seen from her. She likes her games. He looked around Pallet as they walked along. “Yeah she does. Her gym is also a mess of pinks and whites but while a bit of a baby, she also almost never loses. She is a demon in battles. I won because I was lucky honestly.” He blushed a bit. “Heh she does yeah…. don’t tell her I said that. She has a big ego already.” He waved off the worry. “They were only in charge for a while and Red I doubt heard about it while Lance had to check in with the police. Leaving us to deal with the mess. That’s cool I’d love to check it out.” He blushed a bit more and rubbed his head. “W-well…would you like it to be?”

He might just talk your ear off about Johto Pokémon though.” She said keeping her composer up on the outside. On the inside was another story. Never had someone turned the tables on her before. She kind of liked it, someone finally had the courage to twist things around on her.

Looking a head, mostly to avoid his gaze, she kept up her pace. It wouldn’t be long till they reached the forest. God did she hate that place. “I’ve heard she’s also a demon in other places other then her gym. That girl loves to do that triathlon you guys have over there. She maybe hot but I won’t lie the girl scares the daylight out of me with that competitiveness she has. It’s also not too surprising her gym is mostly pink and white. I wouldn’t expect anything more then that.” Giggling at his respond, she put a finger to her lips. “My lips are sealed. Wouldn’t want her getting a bigger ego then Green.” Breathing a small sigh of relief, Blue was happy to hear they had been dealt with. “Good since they should be finishing that train to Kanto soon. We wouldn’t want them making their way over here anytime soon.” Bitting her lip at his question, she avoided his gaze. No one had the nerve to ask her on a real date like this and here he was. “Uh I guess we can haha. Not everyday a fan takes me out for an evening of fun.” She said trying to keep a calm composer.

A New Beginning. (Open RP)

Two years after the events of Team Rocket, Blue had finally settled down as the new assistant of Professor Oak. Not that she minded the slow pace, but she did miss the old days of traveling around. A part of her envied Green and Red. Even though Red was still Champion he still got to leave the region once and a while, as Green was running his Gym he could still leave while his Pokémon watched the gym. But her, she was stuck behind a desk most of the day, mostly looking over paperwork or research papers from other Professors from other regions. Leaning back in her chair she let out a sigh. Sitting all day was getting tiring as her body started to hurt. Standing up, she pushed her chair back, Blue headed to the back yard. Maybe getting some fresh air would help. Stepping out, a smile spread across her lips. Her Pokémon played around with the others Professor Oak had around. Her Blasty played around with the squirtles in the pond, as Jiggly played around with the smaller Pokémon around. This is what she needed. This made everything worth this job. Her Pokémon were happy and that was all she could ever ask for. There was still a small part of her that wanted to go on an adventure once again but she thought that just because she hadn’t seen her childhood friends in a couple of years. Maybe she would phone them to see how thing were going. At least phone Red since Green was just in the next town over but who knew if he was even at the gym or out around the region. Shaking her head she couldn’t help but laugh. The two haven’t change in the time she had known them. She didn’t think either of them could ever stay put if their life depended on it. Of course at one point she thought the same of herself, and look at her now. Back in her home town as an assistant to the professor.

“Hmm I guess I shouldn’t have really expected a super drastic change between Kanto and Johto, after all, they are kind of one huge region in a way but I was hoping for volcanos and super crazy stuff for my first journey outside of Johto. Then again, we did only travel a tiny bit.” Ethan checked his ticket for the S.S. Anne and made double sure of the time he had before he was to return to Johto to finish the gym challenge. “Three days Exbo. Pallet Town isn’t too much farther so maybe we should stay a while and see if we can talk with the professor or maybe Green. They should know if there’s any logic behind Team Rocket’s movements in Johto. Hopefully things haven’t started up here too…” He sighed and rubbed his head. “Ugh… Gold is restless, wanting to battle anything right now just to relieve his boredom…” They walked through Viridian City, glancing at the pokemon gym, Green’s Gym now. “I wonder why he agreed to take that one… not like he couldn’t make his own gym in Pallet.”

Gold coming out for a bit to give advice on battles and to really fire them up for the gyms though only one wanted to try the challenge and the others wanted to try other things. I wonder if Oak will recognize me! I bet Elm just loves to brag about me and Lyra. I’m Blue, Professor Oak’s newest assistant. I’ll try and assist you in any way I can~.” She said giggling some. “I hope you didn’t have to travel far. A habit that was a hard to break. “If you want while you are here your Pokémon can play outside with the others. All the Pokémon out there are very friendly and they would love someone else to play with. That’s if you feel comfortable parting with him for a bit.” She asked pointing to the back door.

Gold worked to untangle his limbs from the fence and looked up, hearing someone’s laugh. “Oh hell no I’m not the one getting embarrassed like this!” He forced Ethan back out and the boy groaned a bit in pain, yelping when the woman walked over and surprised him. He opened his mouth to explain who he was and that he was already a trainer but Exbo ran over with his hat and he took it and put it back on. “Thanks pal.” He blushed a bit and took the hand offered, getting back on his feet. The woman was something that was for sure but she also looked familiar, he had seen her before. “O-oh right! Right! I’ll be right there! He jogged off towards the entrance while Exbo jumped back onto his shoulders snickering. “I don’t wanna hear it from you young mon, Gold is still making fun of me. Besides, I’m blushing because I messed up not her looks though… I can’t remember where I’ve seen her face…” He entered the lab and looked around. A lot like Elm’s but he was a student of Oaks so that made sense.

I have three days here in Kanto so I was trying to finish the job and see what the region could offer, but I get easily distracted as you saw outside heh.” He rubbed his head with a chuckle. His face was one of shock as she said her and he rushed over excitedly, taking one of her hands, shaking it. “THAT WAS IT! You’re one of Kanto’s four heroes! I saw your match in the league and I saw newspapers of the things you and your friends did! It was all so cool! It even impressed Gol- uhh a friend!” He blinked and quickly let her go, stepping back and rubbing his head again. “Sorry about that… Oh Exbo, go on out and I’ll let Aibo out too.” His partner nodded and waved at Blue before running outside with Ethan’s AIpom running after him.

Listening to the radio broadcast, Blue couldn’t help but feel annoyed. He couldn’t even tell her he was taking off again. Sighing softly as she ran her fingers though her hair. “I’m the one who should be sorry. I did assume first. Well you can leave the egg with me and as well as the research. I’ll set it on his desk and as for the egg. I think you should hold on to it. Eggs hatch faster when its with a trainer. Oak would say the same.” She said smiling trying not to be annoyed with her boss for the who knows what time. A blush rose on her cheeks. Here she had always thought she could never live down her past. “Haha really now. I never thought anyone from a different region would be praising me.” Blue replied rubbing the back of her head. A smirk played at her lips. “Don’t be. Not every day I get a cutie like you holding my hand.” She teased. Blue waved to the Pokémon before turn around. “If you follow me I can lead you to the lounge. “I can give you directions to places to see before you head out.” Tapping her chin she started to think. “I should have an extra town map around here somewhere. I tend to keep my old one here in the lab for just this event. Kids who come to start their journey’s usually have a map but you never know.” Blue would never admit it but she was sad to see the young boy leave so soon. She rather enjoyed the company, not that she had very many people come though. Green was always off dealing with the gym or whatever else he had going on. Red well Red was either training up in Mount Silver or defending his title as Champion, so with him being here it was nice to not feel alone.

He looked up seeing her expression, having seen it on the faces of other women through his journey. Funnily enough it was that expression that led him to helping a husband look for a gift for his wife all day. “I suppose he’s into leaving randomly? I mean I can understand, leaving like that can make him feel young like in his younger days or maybe he was running late but then again you should talk more with a partner.” He smiled and shook his head. “Don’t be sorry! You were just trying to help me.” He handed her the notes and pulled out the egg, having kept it under his jacket and against his chest. “Here is the little one! Oh is that true? I’ll carry it for the next few days then and show off what it is when it’s ready.” He laughed see her reaction to his praise. “Are you joking! You’re a legend just as much as Red or Green! Without you they wouldn’t have gotten as far as they did.” He blushed red at the tease and looked away. “I’m just a big fan heh.”

It’s my first time in Kanto so I was hoping to see some culture or some fun places you know? Really? I think my Pokegear 2 can scan maps to update itself. I actually just passed by some kids like that. I gave them some battle advice and I think they’ll be great trainers!” he looked around the lab and it seemed… lonely. Rather dull. He saw Blue looking for her map and he wondered if maybe, seeing that she had nothing better to do… “Hey umm Blue! I uhh was wondering if you.. had any other business today? I mean it’s a nice day and all and… well maps and gps are good and everything but you can’t ever really beat the helpfulness of a guide and the professor does say how going out with people is the smartest thing… If you are free maybe you can show me around? I can pay for anything.”

She raised an eyebrow to him calling the professor her partner. “My partner… You do realize he is my boss only.” She stated waving him off. “The old man always leaves unannounced. Well at least he doesn’t let me know his schedule most of the time.” Blue added sighing once again at his antics. “But once it hatches you should make your way back here to show what hatched. I’m sure the professor would love to see what’s hatched.” Smirking to the blushing boy, the woman poked his cheeks. “You are too kind. Well I didn’t make it easy on the two boys at first when we first started out. But you’re right the two boys couldn’t defeat team rocket with out me.” She said laughing. “I don’t mind having a cute fan~.” She said, giving him a wink.

Digging out the map she turned to the boy smiling as she handed him the map. “Here is an updated version of the map. You should be able to scan this to your pokegear just fine.” Tilting her head to his request, she started to think about it. It would be fun to take a day off. It has been slow anyways. “I’ll take you up on your offer under one condition. You still haven’t told me your name. I’d like to know the name of the guy who’s taking me out~.” She slightly teased. Half of her was happy to being getting out and the other half of her was happy to have some company. “So where do you want to see first. I know Kanto like the back of my hand.” She said taking off her lab coat. “We can take the gate out back once we get our pokemon.”

That way your Pokémon can continue to play around with the others outside. I tend to keep my old one here in the lab for just this event. Kids who come to start their journey’s usually have a map but you never know.” Blue would never admit it but she was sad to see the young boy leave so soon. She rather enjoyed the company, not that she had very many people come though. Green was always off dealing with the gym or whatever else he had going on. Red well Red was either training up in Mount Silver or defending his title as Champion, so with him being here it was nice to not feel alone.

Funnily enough it was that expression that led him to helping a husband look for a gift for his wife all day. “I suppose he’s into leaving randomly? I mean I can understand, leaving like that can make him feel young like in his younger days or maybe he was running late but then again you should talk more with a partner.” He smiled and shook his head. “Don’t be sorry! It’s my first time in Kanto so I was hoping to see some culture or some fun places you know? Really? I think my Pokegear 2 can scan maps to update itself. I actually just passed by some kids like that. I gave them some battle advice and I think they’ll be great trainers!” he looked around the lab and it seemed… lonely. Rather dull. He saw Blue looking for her map and he wondered if maybe, seeing that she had nothing better to do… “Hey umm Blue! I uhh was wondering if you.. had any other business today? I mean it’s a nice day and all and… well maps and gps are good and everything but you can’t ever really beat the helpfulness of a guide and the professor does say how going out with people is the smartest thing… If you are free maybe you can show me around? I can pay for anything.”

She raised an eyebrow to him calling the professor her partner. “My partner… You do realize he is my boss only.” She stated waving him off. “The old man always leaves unannounced. Well at least he doesn’t let me know his schedule most of the time.” Blue added sighing once again at his antics. “But once it hatches you should make your way back here to show what hatched. I’m sure the professor would love to see what’s hatched.” Smirking to the blushing boy, the woman poked his cheeks. “You are too kind. Well I didn’t make it easy on the two boys at first when we first started out. But you’re right the two boys couldn’t defeat team rocket with out me.” She said laughing. “I don’t mind having a cute fan~.” She said, giving him a wink.

Digging out the map she turned to the boy smiling as she handed him the map. “Here is an updated version of the map. You should be able to scan this to your pokegear just fine.” Tilting her head to his request, she started to think about it. It would be fun to take a day off. It has been slow anyways. “I’ll take you up on your offer under one condition. You still haven’t told me your name. I’d like to know the name of the guy who’s taking me out~.” She slightly teased. Half of her was happy to being getting out and the other half of her was happy to have some company. “So where do you want to see first. I know Kanto like the back of my hand.” She said taking off her lab coat. “We can take the gate out back once we get our pokemon.”

I could just be on a vacation when Professor Elm calls me to check some new discovery to to collect info in some new region. Or make deliveries that he doesn’t have time for. So maaaybe I should wander Kanto a bit….” His blush intensified and he coughed trying to regain composure. “W-well if you don’t mind….”

“Haha well that’s a long story. When I first met the professor I kind of stole a Pokémon from him. It’s the reason why I have Blasty actually.” Blue said rubbing the back of her head, a slight blush coming across her cheeks. “He did forgive me and gave me a pokedex.” Blue started to laugh some. “I wonder what’s got you wanting to hang around Kanto more. I wonder of if the Pokémon here has you interested or is it a girl you’ve helped here.” She teased, placing her hand on her chin. “Haha I don’t mind one bit at all. Not one bit actually.” “Ethan Gold huh. Well its a pleasure to meet you.” She said, giving him a soft smile. “You sure you want to go to Celadon City. It’s the biggest city in the region. If you don’t have a place to stay, they have a beautiful hotel and if you don’t want to stay in the hotel you can always sleep in the spare room Oak has here in the lab. That way your Pokémon can continue to play around with the others outside. I won’t be taking any of mine with me so if you want you can leave them in the back.” She said hanging up her coat. “You ready for our little date.~” She teased.

Ethan made a face when Silver was mentioned by name and nodded. “Yeah him. He was my greatest rival outside Team Rocket... wait.... your little Silver?!” He said in shock as he realized he was on a not-date with his rival’s sister figure. ‘Oh he’s gonna kill me...’ he thought as he shook his head to ignore the thought. He came back just in time to lean back and rub his head as she leaned in towards him. He blushed and shook his head. “I-I didn’t mean! Uhh I meant that... oh crud...” He cursed and hide his blushing face. Looking back at her, he gently touched her shoulder. “We all do things we regret, it’s how we learn right? You’re not the same as you were. You’re a hero as far as I’m concerned.”

“A-are you gonna be doing this all day? I may need to carry some cold water if that’s the case heh...” He rubbed his cheek, trying to regain some control of himself and took a deep breath. “Goldenrod is nice, Whitney is a demon to battle though and the whole city being taken over by a gang wasn’t great either. The people are nice enough. Plenty to see. Hmm a gym huh? I may have to look into it sometime. A friend of yours?” He nodded and then flashed her a smile. “Then I’ll take it, maybe I can make you some breakfast then huh?” He chuckled and smiled taking her hand.”

A New Beginning. (Open RP)

Two years after the events of Team Rocket, Blue had finally settled down as the new assistant of Professor Oak. Not that she minded the slow pace, but she did miss the old days of traveling around. A part of her envied Green and Red. Even though Red was still Champion he still got to leave the region once and a while, as Green was running his Gym he could still leave while his Pokémon watched the gym. But her, she was stuck behind a desk most of the day, mostly looking over paperwork or research papers from other Professors from other regions. Leaning back in her chair she let out a sigh. Sitting all day was getting tiring as her body started to hurt. Standing up, she pushed her chair back, Blue headed to the back yard. Maybe getting some fresh air would help. Stepping out, a smile spread across her lips. Her Pokémon played around with the others Professor Oak had around. Her Blasty played around with the squirtles in the pond, as Jiggly played around with the smaller Pokémon around. This is what she needed. This made everything worth this job. Her Pokémon were happy and that was all she could ever ask for. There was still a small part of her that wanted to go on an adventure once again but she thought that just because she hadn’t seen her childhood friends in a couple of years. Maybe she would phone them to see how thing were going. At least phone Red since Green was just in the next town over but who knew if he was even at the gym or out around the region. Shaking her head she couldn’t help but laugh. The two haven’t change in the time she had known them. She didn’t think either of them could ever stay put if their life depended on it. Of course at one point she thought the same of herself, and look at her now. Back in her home town as an assistant to the professor.

“Hmm I guess I shouldn’t have really expected a super drastic change between Kanto and Johto, after all, they are kind of one huge region in a way but I was hoping for volcanos and super crazy stuff for my first journey outside of Johto. Then again, we did only travel a tiny bit.” Ethan checked his ticket for the S.S. Anne and made double sure of the time he had before he was to return to Johto to finish the gym challenge. “Three days Exbo. Pallet Town isn’t too much farther so maybe we should stay a while and see if we can talk with the professor or maybe Green. They should know if there’s any logic behind Team Rocket’s movements in Johto. Hopefully things haven’t started up here too…” He sighed and rubbed his head. “Ugh… Gold is restless, wanting to battle anything right now just to relieve his boredom…” They walked through Viridian City, glancing at the pokemon gym, Green’s Gym now. “I wonder why he agreed to take that one… not like he couldn’t make his own gym in Pallet.”

Shrugging off the question, Ethan walked down the path to the sleepy little town and smiled at some new trainers beginning their journeys. Gold coming out for a bit to give advice on battles and to really fire them up for the gyms though only one wanted to try the challenge and the others wanted to try other things. Pallet Town was peaceful, simple but peaceful. Maybe that image was why Green refused to make a gym there, to ensure that the town stayed the way it was meant to be. “Actually it reminds me of New Bark huh pal?” Exbo nodded and pointed at a large building that stood out. “That must be the lab! I wonder if Oak will recognize me! I bet Elm just loves to brag about me and Lyra. Ooo think he’ll let us see Red’s pokemon?!” Exbo rolled his eyes at his trainer’s fan mentality but it did drive the boy to start running towards the lab. He saw the backyard and tried to change direction but slipped with Exbo jumping off his head, sensing the fall. Ethan slapped right into the fence and Gold was the one who came out. “Good running idiot…”

Hearing the commotion, Blue turned her head to the boy near the fence. Laughter erupted from the young woman. Making her way over the young boy, she shook her head laughing to herself. “Are you alright? Excited to start out your journey? You do look a little too old to be first starting out though. Nothing wrong about that .” She said extending her hand out to the young boy. “Now if you go around the fence you will see the entrance of the to the lab.” No need for him to trip and slip again. Releasing his hand, Blue pointed to the entrance before she headed in the back entrance. Walking into the lab once more she started to look for the professor. Rolling her eyes at the note she had found from him. “Great I have to turn the poor kid away since he decided to take off for a bit.” Running her hands though her hair she leaned against the desk thinking of what she could do at this point. “I guess I could see what he really wants. He might not want a Pokémon. Ha there I go again assuming things.” Shaking her head, she pushed herself off the desk and headed for the front of the lab. Smiling as the boy entered the lab. “I’m sorry to inform you that Professor Oak is out for the moment but I can try and help you if you wish.” Blue tried to act as professional as possible. “Oh I nearly forgot to introduce myself! I’m Blue, Professor Oak’s newest assistant. I’ll try and assist you in any way I can~.” She said giggling some. “I hope you didn’t have to travel far. I just hope I’m not disappointing if you had come all this way to see the professor~.” She teased. A habit that was a hard to break. “If you want while you are here your Pokémon can play outside with the others. All the Pokémon out there are very friendly and they would love someone else to play with. That’s if you feel comfortable parting with him for a bit.” She asked pointing to the back door.

Gold worked to untangle his limbs from the fence and looked up, hearing someone’s laugh. “Oh hell no I’m not the one getting embarrassed like this!” He forced Ethan back out and the boy groaned a bit in pain, yelping when the woman walked over and surprised him. Hopefully things haven’t started up here too…” He sighed and rubbed his head. “Ugh… Gold is restless, wanting to battle anything right now just to relieve his boredom…” They walked through Viridian City, glancing at the pokemon gym, Green’s Gym now. “I wonder why he agreed to take that one… not like he couldn’t make his own gym in Pallet.”

Shrugging off the question, Ethan walked down the path to the sleepy little town and smiled at some new trainers beginning their journeys. Gold coming out for a bit to give advice on battles and to really fire them up for the gyms though only one wanted to try the challenge and the others wanted to try other things. Pallet Town was peaceful, simple but peaceful. Maybe that image was why Green refused to make a gym there, to ensure that the town stayed the way it was meant to be. “Actually it reminds me of New Bark huh pal?” Exbo nodded and pointed at a large building that stood out. “That must be the lab! I wonder if Oak will recognize me! I bet Elm just loves to brag about me and Lyra. Ooo think he’ll let us see Red’s pokemon?!” Exbo rolled his eyes at his trainer’s fan mentality but it did drive the boy to start running towards the lab. He saw the backyard and tried to change direction but slipped with Exbo jumping off his head, sensing the fall. Ethan slapped right into the fence and Gold was the one who came out. “Good running idiot…”

Hearing the commotion, Blue turned her head to the boy near the fence. Laughter erupted from the young woman. Making her way over the young boy, she shook her head laughing to herself. “Are you alright? Excited to start out your journey? You do look a little too old to be first starting out though. Nothing wrong about that .” She said extending her hand out to the young boy. “Now if you go around the fence you will see the entrance of the to the lab.” No need for him to trip and slip again. Releasing his hand, Blue pointed to the entrance before she headed in the back entrance. Walking into the lab once more she started to look for the professor. Rolling her eyes at the note she had found from him. “Great I have to turn the poor kid away since he decided to take off for a bit.” Running her hands though her hair she leaned against the desk thinking of what she could do at this point. “I guess I could see what he really wants. He might not want a Pokémon. Ha there I go again assuming things.” Shaking her head, she pushed herself off the desk and headed for the front of the lab. Smiling as the boy entered the lab. “I’m sorry to inform you that Professor Oak is out for the moment but I can try and help you if you wish.” Blue tried to act as professional as possible. “Oh I nearly forgot to introduce myself! I’m Blue, Professor Oak’s newest assistant. I’ll try and assist you in any way I can~.” She said giggling some. “I hope you didn’t have to travel far. I just hope I’m not disappointing if you had come all this way to see the professor~.” She teased. A habit that was a hard to break. “If you want while you are here your Pokémon can play outside with the others. All the Pokémon out there are very friendly and they would love someone else to play with. That’s if you feel comfortable parting with him for a bit.” She asked pointing to the back door.

Gold worked to untangle his limbs from the fence and looked up, hearing someone’s laugh. “Oh hell no I’m not the one getting embarrassed like this!” He forced Ethan back out and the boy groaned a bit in pain, yelping when the woman walked over and surprised him. He opened his mouth to explain who he was and that he was already a trainer but Exbo ran over with his hat and he took it and put it back on. “Thanks pal.” He blushed a bit and took the hand offered, getting back on his feet. The woman was something that was for sure but she also looked familiar, he had seen her before. “O-oh right! Right! I’ll be right there! He jogged off towards the entrance while Exbo jumped back onto his shoulders snickering. “I don’t wanna hear it from you young mon, Gold is still making fun of me. Besides, I’m blushing because I messed up not her looks though… I can’t remember where I’ve seen her face…” He entered the lab and looked around. A lot like Elm’s but he was a student of Oaks so that made sense.

Ethan groaned a bit and shook his head, looking at his pokegear and checking the radio where Oak could be heard. “Goldenrod.” He sighed but then looked over and smiled. “Oh I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to imply anything! Professor Elm in Johto sent me with an egg and some research he wanted Oak to have. I have three days here in Kanto so I was trying to finish the job and see what the region could offer, but I get easily distracted as you saw outside heh.” He rubbed his head with a chuckle. His face was one of shock as she said her and he rushed over excitedly, taking one of her hands, shaking it. “THAT WAS IT! You’re one of Kanto’s four heroes! I saw your match in the league and I saw newspapers of the things you and your friends did! It was all so cool! It even impressed Gol- uhh a friend!” He blinked and quickly let her go, stepping back and rubbing his head again. “Sorry about that… Oh Exbo, go on out and I’ll let Aibo out too.” His partner nodded and waved at Blue before running outside with Ethan’s AIpom running after him.

Listening to the radio broadcast, Blue couldn’t help but feel annoyed. He couldn’t even tell her he was taking off again. Sighing softly as she ran her fingers though her hair. “I’m the one who should be sorry. I did assume first. Well you can leave the egg with me and as well as the research. I’ll set it on his desk and as for the egg. I think you should hold on to it. Eggs hatch faster when its with a trainer. Oak would say the same.” She said smiling trying not to be annoyed with her boss for the who knows what time. A blush rose on her cheeks. Here she had always thought she could never live down her past. “Haha really now. I never thought anyone from a different region would be praising me.” Blue replied rubbing the back of her head. A smirk played at her lips. “Don’t be. Not every day I get a cutie like you holding my hand.” She teased. Blue waved to the Pokémon before turn around. “If you follow me I can lead you to the lounge. “I can give you directions to places to see before you head out.” Tapping her chin she started to think. “I should have an extra town map around here somewhere. I tend to keep my old one here in the lab for just this event. Kids who come to start their journey’s usually have a map but you never know.” Blue would never admit it but she was sad to see the young boy leave so soon. She rather enjoyed the company, not that she had very many people come though. Green was always off dealing with the gym or whatever else he had going on. Red well Red was either training up in Mount Silver or defending his title as Champion, so with him being here it was nice to not feel alone.

He looked up seeing her expression, having seen it on the faces of other women through his journey. Funnily enough it was that expression that led him to helping a husband look for a gift for his wife all day. “I suppose he’s into leaving randomly? I mean I can understand, leaving like that can make him feel young like in his younger days or maybe he was running late but then again you should talk more with a partner.” He smiled and shook his head. “Don’t be sorry! You were just trying to help me.” He handed her the notes and pulled out the egg, having kept it under his jacket and against his chest. “Here is the little one! Oh is that true? I’ll carry it for the next few days then and show off what it is when it’s ready.” He laughed see her reaction to his praise. “Are you joking! You’re a legend just as much as Red or Green! Without you they wouldn’t have gotten as far as they did.” He blushed red at the tease and looked away. “I’m just a big fan heh.”

“On my way!” He followed her and waved at his partners as they ran off to talk and play with the other pokemon. “Thanks! It’s my first time in Kanto so I was hoping to see some culture or some fun places you know? Really? I think my Pokegear 2 can scan maps to update itself. I actually just passed by some kids like that. I gave them some battle advice and I think they’ll be great trainers!” he looked around the lab and it seemed… lonely. Rather dull. He saw Blue looking for her map and he wondered if maybe, seeing that she had nothing better to do… “Hey umm Blue! I uhh was wondering if you.. had any other business today? I mean it’s a nice day and all and… well maps and gps are good and everything but you can’t ever really beat the helpfulness of a guide and the professor does say how going out with people is the smartest thing… If you are free maybe you can show me around? I can pay for anything.”

She raised an eyebrow to him calling the professor her partner. “My partner… You do realize he is my boss only.” She stated waving him off. “The old man always leaves unannounced. Well at least he doesn’t let me know his schedule most of the time.” Blue added sighing once again at his antics. “But once it hatches you should make your way back here to show what hatched. I’m sure the professor would love to see what’s hatched.” Smirking to the blushing boy, the woman poked his cheeks. “You are too kind. Well I didn’t make it easy on the two boys at first when we first started out. But you’re right the two boys couldn’t defeat team rocket with out me.” She said laughing. “I don’t mind having a cute fan~.” She said, giving him a wink.

Digging out the map she turned to the boy smiling as she handed him the map. “Here is an updated version of the map. You should be able to scan this to your pokegear just fine.” Tilting her head to his request, she started to think about it. It would be fun to take a day off. It has been slow anyways. “I’ll take you up on your offer under one condition. You still haven’t told me your name. I’d like to know the name of the guy who’s taking me out~.” She slightly teased. Half of her was happy to being getting out and the other half of her was happy to have some company. “So where do you want to see first. I know Kanto like the back of my hand.” She said taking off her lab coat. “We can take the gate out back once we get our pokemon.”

“Just your boss? You two aren’t friends? I thought you were actually gonna take over for him once he wants to retire, though he definitely doesn’t seem the type to want to. The first time I met him, he seemed pretty strict about his age haha. Elm even tries not to mention it, afraid that Oak is always watching.” He laughed and then sighed, crossing his arms. “I know the feeling but in reverse. I could just be on a vacation when Professor Elm calls me to check some new discovery to to collect info in some new region. Or make deliveries that he doesn’t have time for. He could give me some heads up sometimes you know?” He nodded and then put his arms behind his head. “I can send him the little one to examine and he could send it back. So maaaybe I should wander Kanto a bit....” His blush intensified and he coughed trying to regain composure. “W-well if you don’t mind....”

He gladly took the map and used his pokegear to scan it into his data but also decided to keep the map just in case. “All scanned and ready for exploring!” He rubbed his head nervously, hoping he hadn’t come out too strong asking her for an uhh not-date. A simple guiding tour.. yeah. He smiled and chuckled at her condition with a small blush. “I’m E-E....” He felt his head hurt as Gold began to act up. “E-Ethan! Ethan Gold.” He threw a fist in the air when she was taking off her coat. “Oh uhh I didn’t think about that heh... Somewhere fun and with food... Celadon City?”

@johtosgoldenboy It was a warm yet sunny in Hoenn. Zinnia just arrived at leaf tornado. She pulled up in style upon her salamance, merely landing on a grassy patch across the way from the enterance. She was waiting on someone. A so called, “Wonder boy” from Johto. “Well, this is it. Everyone says this kid can do the unthinkable… he defeated team rocket all by himself… so who knows?” Zinna pauses for a moment. “Aster, you heard me, right?… Now what are you looking at there?”

Gold was laying on his back, a stick of jerky in his mouth as Skarmory was flying him to meet up with a girl that the professor said he may find interesting. She claimed to have come from another world or something. Ethan’s voice broke through the sound of the winds and Gold groaned as he said that if he wasn’t gonna fly seriously then let him take control again.

“Ugh how annoying. Fine fine I’m going!” He shook his head and slipped on his goggles as he ordered Skarmory to speed up and they shot off like a bullet. They were coming up on Leaf Tornado and Gold jumped off with a smirk. As he neared the ground he ordered for Skarmory to use gust and the small wind allowed him to float and break the fall. He dusted himself off, his entrance being heavily unneeded. “And that is how it’s done Ethan.”

She was feeling kinda down, and didn’t know how to really ask anyone for a hug. So, the young gym leader just hugged the first person she saw near her gym.

Flannery didn’t even open her eyes as she hugged this person.

Ethan had been in the middle of another argument with Gold about who should be the one to take on the next gym, a common argument between the two with Cyndaquil just shaking his head. It looked strange to onlookers as he just seems to be talking to himself.

Ethan shook his head at how childish Gold could be as they neared the gym and he felt his confidence rise even as Exbo pulled on his trainer’s hair trying to warn him.

Suddenly, Ethan felt warm as he was seemly pulled into a hug. His mind didn’t really know what was happening and froze but he felt a blush growing. A soft voice explained the situation and while it didn’t help his blush, he did figure everyone could use a hug now and then so he hugged the girl back.

"So that's Ecruteak City... according to the Pokegear here, it's one of the oldest cities in all of Johto and most of Kanto. It has ties to the past through its citizens and they show that past through people like the Kimono Girls and their Festival of Light which is happening tonight. I bet we'll be able to eat a whole bunch of food then huh buddy?" Cyndaquil rubbed his belly while he laid on top of Ethan's head. They had just run out of supplies that morning so the little pokemon was hungry. "I know I'll buy more supplies before we leave town this time." He looked through the history section of the city. "Burned Tower formerly Brass Tower... Pokemon gym... Bell Tower... place really loves towers. According to this, some researchers believe this town was where Johto really began. I wonder if the Professor knows anything about the town. Maybe I should give him a call... after the festival. His jobs usually take a lot of time for random amounts of payoff, we deserve some fun sometimes right Exbo?" The pokemon nodded and poked his nose out from under Ethan's hat. "Oh right, you're always having fun." They approached the city as they were finishing setting things up and kids were running around excitedly. Some were listening to a teacher nearby as she used puppets to explain a story about three legendries. Ethan whistled as he looked around, a soft breeze blew through town spreading autumn leaves and the scent of fresh goods around that nearly made the two drool. They followed the scent to a donut stand and after buying a few, the stall owner made a suggestion to go to the theater and see the practice show of the Kimono Girls before the big performance that night. They waved and thanked him while heading to the small theater and inside the lights were off as the women on stage were in the middle of a show. He walked over and silently took a seat while being enamored by their mastery of the dance, moving as gracefully as if they were swimming or flying. The dance may have only been a few seconds or may had been as long as ten minutes but it was over all too soon and they bowed politely asking that they all come back to see their full show that night. “Wow... we have to see that. It felt... strange.”

How do you need to be Loved?

It’s... complicated.

Love and I have had a rocky relationship. I have loved a few people before but ever since I was young I’ve seen love more or less juts a phase people go through like my parents. Things change and so do people I suppose. There is love that can go on and on but it’s rare and honestly the pain of love made it seem not worth it. Then came the time of my life that was nothing but Disney you can say. I had friends but I was always a bit of a loner and preferred being alone. Disney movies had such a sweet and usually beautiful depiction of love that well... even to this day I think it affects me. I have always looked to storybook love as something I’d try to make and honestly those movies and stories caused me to try to be as “heroic” as possible. I want to be remembered more than loved. A bad time for me was in high school where... I didn’t truly think I was deserving of that kind of thing. I saw love as a gift and myself as... less than worthy of it. I got myself some help though and I still hope for something eventually.

How do I need to be loved? I suppose I want to feel like I can be myself. No matter what.

I haven’t seen them around here so far, and I highly doubt they’d even come here in the first place. I’m not going to stop you if you still want to check further in, though–”

“You– you don’t know who I am?!” Purple eyes widened in pure disbelief. “I’m prince Lear! Founder of Pasio and creator of the Pokémon Masters League! How can you not know who I am?!”

“Usually yeah but their admins have been on the verge of losing it lately so i have to make sure they’re taken down before they actually use their brains for once.” Ethan grunted as he held his head, shaking it as his eyes were now golden and if anything he looked even more bored as he pulled out a pool cue and began to practice swing it.

“Nooope. Me and the nerd aren’t you would call “up to date” though aren’t princes a bit old fashion? The Pokemon Masters League? Is that a tournament for only masters?”

There was no hiding the disdain in Lear’s voice or the utterly annoyed expression on his face at the sight of the hat-bearing trainer. He might not be Red, but there was still something about the guy that rubbed Lear the wrong way.

“I went to this cave specifically to be alone. So why, again, are you here?”

Gold and I don’t have a lot in common but we both do enjoy messing with you though I think Gold prefers battling you. You’re one of the only ones we’ve met that is equal to him. Besides, you make it very clear the closest we’re gonna get to “getting along” is not killing each other after a day of hanging out.”

Silver lets out the longest possible groan in return. He’s the one being a pain, now?! What a joke.

“I don’t kill people. I may beat them up, sometimes, but I don’t kill.

Feraligatr, however, might have a need to take a bite every now and then, so can you go bother someone else, please? Thank you.”

Ethan grinned to himself as they walked along but he did get serious for just a moment.

“I know. Even at your worst, you’re not really a bad guy. Even Elm agreed saying that if you earned your pokemon’s respect and loyalty you deserve them. That actually reminds me, he wanted Lyra and I to give you a new pokedex if you didn’t have one.” His seriousness vanished at the small threat.

“I doooon’t know. Typhlosion usually don’t take kindly to things trying to eat me.”
