What I know for sure....

We are all the same, and we must be willing to recognize ourselves in others. See ourselves in other’s pain and failure, in order to reinforce your own humility. Recognize ourselves in others pleasure and success in order to reinforce our own self esteem.

In the mean time, when you’re not being disappointed, lean in. In the mean time, when you’re not being dismissed, unheard or misunderstood, write. In the mean time, when you’re not being abused, pray. In the mean time, when you’re not being inspired; look for pain, because unfortunately better days are sure to come

Purpose. Your heart's desire, soul's expression, reason for being. Unlike dreams that may go unfulfilled, get put aside or even forgotten about; your purpose is always there, was there before you were born, and will wait for eternity until you find it.

Reminder to myself to let go and let GOD, it’s ok to relinquish control to the Almighty. I ask for wisdom and patience during those times to know what the right move is and when to move on it. OAN: Joy does not come in fleeting moments, joy is life

German Forest Our first day in Germany, we walked to the front desk and to our right was this view. The trees were so tall and what appeared to be a trail leading into the forest is what caught my eye. My first day in Germany I had this calm, peaceful feeling over me. This scene captured everything I loved about Germany right away.

Best Friends

My son’s first childhood best friend, Kaiden Collymore. This was his last day at daycare before we PCS’d to Germany.

Think how hard it must be for him to never see the face of the child that he loved so much as a friend, buddy, and confidant. That place, that boy was his world, and now they're just picture memories.
