This is me totally not waiting until the end of this month for another update 😅 Yeah, it's been a busy month. Sorry for the tardiness. I'll update sometime around mid December so that it's not in the middle of my exams. I'll also have my Collections for this ship week by then. I will be posting a reminder of the guidelines to this ship week sometime today.
Jon was panicking. Today would be the anniversary since they've started dating and he didn't know what to do or what gift to give. He was googling different ideas he could do today. It was a good thing he has the ability to fly and move at great speeds. If only his phone and computer could match his speed.
“Hey Jonno, what are... you...” Connor asked, flying inside Jon's apartment living room through his window at quick speed, before taking notice of Jon. Jon wasn't someone that cared about how he looked or dressed, but this was unusual even for him. “I'm... probably going to regret asking this but... what the hell are you wearing?”
Jon was currently wearing a strange black trench coat with a matching fur cap. The moment he heard his cousin ask him about his wear, his entire face turned red. He replied, “nothing! … Do you have any advise on how to impress your Russian girlfriend on your anniversary?”
“Avoid dressing up like that would be my first advise,” Connor grinned humorously as Jon groaned, covering his face.
“You're not helping,” Jon muffled in his hands.
“Well, I've never had a Russian girlfriend, but yours is likely going to have a sense of style that matches Cassie than whatever it is you're trying to do,” Connor replied, taking off the furcap before Jon snatched it from his hand almost offensively. He put his hands up. “I'm just saying, I really doubt yours is into... Russian things. She doesn't come off as that kind of gal.”
Jon sighed, plopping himself on the couch, “you're probably right.
“Hey, when in doubt, take her flying somewhere like around the farm, Hawaii or...”
“Great idea! I can take them flying to Moscow! Thanks, Kon!” Jon grinned joyfully before flying off.
“You're wel- wait, I said to avoid...” Connor called back before sighing and shaking his head.
Damian was in his bedroom with two different bouquets on his side table while on his laptop searching for places to go in Moscow. Jon must've been freaking out about their anniversary to have it be based in Russia. At least of all the cities in Russia, Moscow was a good choice in hindsight and they won't need to take a train or subway.
“Literally, did Supernut choose Russia because that's where I'm from?” Nika asked, climbing inside Damian's bedroom from the window.
“Tt that's why I told you to not visit him until he texts us. At least you never had to come to his house with a broom with my picture on the front dressed like Robin,” Damian said deadpan as Nika burst out laughing.
“Hearing that makes me wish I was a fly on the wall for that.”
“Of course you'd find that funny,” Damian muttered, still on the computer looking up different places to go to. “At least he chose a city that's interesting.”
“And, far from where my parents live. I've never been to Moscow.”
“The Red Square is considered a popular tourist destination with different castles with rich history.”
“I never knew you were so interested in our history,” Nika smiled flirtatiously, sitting next to Damian on his bed.
“Aren't you?” Damian asked Nika, raising an eyebrows.
“Maybe a little. Though, I'm more interested in other country's history,” Nika confessed, which made Damian smile a little before the both of them felt a gust of wind.
“Welcome J,” Damian greeted without looking at his boyfriend.
“Hey D, Nika, I... are those for me?” Jon asked, grabbing his bouquet next to the black and purple bouquet of roses. His was red and blue. “Dami, you're so sweet.”
Nika took the furcap off Jon, smirking, “I have so many questions.”
“Aren't those popular in your country?” Jon asked.
“Yeah, but I never liked them... I suppose they are warm and comfy,” Nika said before Jon snatched it back and placed it back on his head.
“We can take a look around Red Square and explore the different castles. There are also a number of places we can go in and eat,” Damian said, showing the number of restaurants at the Red Square.
“Oh Dami, I love you for this!” Jon grinned excitedly, Nika also joining in.
“If you're gonna get us some fine dining, see if there's any with caviar,” Nika suggested.
“You eat caviar? I thought you were vegan,” Damian asked with raised eyebrows.
“I am. I just hear fancy rich people eat caviar. What is caviar?”
“Fish eggs.”
“Oh,” Nika replied, eyes turning to saucers. “Escargot?”
“Snails.”
“Wait, seriously?” Jon asked, gagging at the idea.
“Is there any richy-rich foods that are vegan friendly?” Nika asked.
“Or eatable?” Jon added.
“Truffles for Nika. Wagyu beef for Jon. Unfortunately, for you Jon, Wagyu beef is from Japan,” Damian stated, putting away his computer before stuffing it in his backpack. He got out the bouquet for Nika, then gave it to her.
“You really are sweet,” Nika said, fluttering her eyes.
“It is our anniversary,” Damian replied, hiding the pink dusting his cheeks before Jon floated behind the two.
“Let me know when you're both ready,” Jon said.
Once Nika and Damian changed into suits made to withstand high speeds, they signaled they were ready. Jon flew the both of them out the window, then on their way to Moscow. He was able to make it to Moscow in around a minute before landing them somewhere in hiding where no one could spot their landing. From there, Damian and Nika changed out of their suits before placing them in Damian's bag before heading to their hotel Damian had booked for all three of them for one room.
Once in the room, Nika states, “you don't have to wear that, you know.” She was pointing to the fur cap.
“I know. I know you say it's ugly, but I like this. I guess it helps me know more about the place you came from,” Jon shrugged.
“I never thought much of the country I'm from,” Nika shrugged, looking outside. “I suppose that's why I left it at a moment's notice. I'm more interested in other planets. Your father come from a completely different planet from ours. That's more interesting!”
“She's not wrong, Jon,” Damian nodded in agreement. “However, I am curious about the hat.”
“I never liked it, but I don't know why we have it,” Nika spoke curiously. She then smirked slightly. “Or why one of our castles looks like something out of Candy Land.”
“Do you want to go in and find out?” Jon asked.
“Hm...” Nika hummed, thinking for a bit, then walked next to Jon with Damian on his other side. “I suppose I could check it out.”
Damian and Nika gave Jon a kiss on each side of his cheek, who smiled brightly. He held his two lovers. All three of them grinned as they planned the rest of their day at Red Square of Moscow.
Anyone lucky to have a soulmate will see them in their dreams. However, sometimes, they will wake up only remembering a few things about their soulmates. Jonathan Kent cannot remember a single thing about his soulmate. Meanwhile, Damian is placing a spell every time he sleeps so his soulmate won't remember their shared dream or what he looks like
Many of the lucky ones found their soulmates at some point in their lives. Sometimes, it was as children and others as adults. It was unfortunate if it was never at all, but the lucky ones would find their soulmates through their dreams. These dreams came periodically and would bond one with their soulmates. It was like the Disney movie Sleeping Beauty, where Aurora met her prince once upon a dream.
The problem was when the dreamer would not remember that dream or only fractions of the dream. Only a few people ever remembered the exact description of their soulmate. Lois Lane was one of those, being how she knew Clark was her soulmate the moment they first met at work. It took a while for him to realize Lois was his soulmate, having thought it was Lana for a long time.
For Jon, every time he dreamed of his soulmate, he'd wake up not remembering his soulmate. He'd wake up from the most wonderful dream meeting his soulmate without knowing a single fraction of this person. Jon would curl in his bed and cry in his pillow, grieving from the loss of whatever memory of his soulmate he had. If only he could remember something! Anything!
After some months of this, Jon became disheartened and depressed. He just couldn't figure out what to do, so he could remember his soulmate. He tried laying a notepad on his nightstand to draw his soulmate, but the instant he woke up, he'd forget what his soulmate looked like. He even tried to keep the vision of his soulmate from his dreams, only for it to vanish the moment he opened his eyes. The worst part was that Jon couldn't remember anything about the dream with his soulmate outside of how happy and wonderful it was.
While sitting on the roof of his house, his dad came floating next to him.
“Hey Jonno, what's the long face?” Clark asked, seeing his son sitting on the roof looking out on the fields of Hamilton.
Jon shrugged, “Just thinking.”
“What are you thinking about?” Clark asked, sitting next to his son.
Jon sighed, finally confessing, “I've been having dreams of my soulmate for the past few months.”
“Oh?”
“But, every time I wake up, their memories just... vanish.”
“Hm...” Clark responded, understanding Jon's frustration. “I was about your age when I started having dreams of your mother. Of course, I thought it was Lana at the time.”
“You said before. I figured it was because of her name, but at least you remembered something. Even a name. But, I don't even know mine's name or anything. I tried leaving a notepad on my side table, but every time I wake up, my soulmate and the dream is gone,” Jon cried, hugging his legs tightly in frustration. Clark hugged his soul warmly.
“It's alright, son. I never met your mother until many years after I had my first dream. You'll meet her.”
“Erm... I don't know if it's a guy either.”
“Him. Her. Son, you'll find this person. It might take years, but you will find something to remember when you have more of these dreams. Sometimes, with these things, you just need to wait it out,” Clark promised as Jon sniffed, nodding his head.
Jon wanted so much to remember who his soulmate is. He'd give anything to keep a memory, any part of his soulmate or even a name. He'd take a sliver of his soulmate that he would keep in his heart and lock it tight so he'd never forget it. Even if Jon had to wait years to meet this soulmate, he just wanted to keep something of this soulmate to remember forever until they meet.
The dreams came more frequently, but the memories of his soulmate were left a mystery. Jon would purposely take short naps just to see his soulmate and find something to remember. Unfortunately, nothing came, except some words. He couldn't remember the sound of that voice, but he remembered words. Jon wrote each and every one of them down that he could remember. They weren't much, but they were something. Some of these were words of endearment: Beloved and my Love. There was also that sound he did with his teeth.
“Tt,” Jon sounded, trying to match the sound he remembered from his soulmate. He wanted to remember this and lock it in his heart. “Tt.”
Damian had been having dreams of his soulmate ever since he moved in with his father. He had known about soulmates through his mother and grandfather. His grandfather often was the one to tell these stories, being his grandmother was his grandfather's soulmate. However, since leaving the Al Ghul's, he cared not for soulmates, except to reproduce eventual offspring, which this one would not be able to do. There were always other options, but outside of spreading his seed, he did not wish to partake in lovemaking.
It was annoying, because Damian was a lucid dreamer, meaning he knew it was a dream and remembered his dreams and soulmate perfectly. The first time Damian saw his soulmate, he was taken aback by the reality that his soulmate was not a girl. He had never thought or explored the possibility of mating with another boy. However, this one was special and did things to his heart and emotions.
Every moment Damian was with his soulmate, Jonathan Kent, they would being lying under the stars on a grassy field, riding on a horse or sitting on a tree together in the depths of the forest. Jonathan was always pushing Damian to become lost in their dream where they can be whatever they wanted. It was crazy, wild, fantastic and beautiful. There was so much color, so many diamond stars and those beautiful eyes that would stare right back before feeling a chaste kiss on his lips.
In order to release himself of this boy that would make him feel weak, Damian placed an enchantment so this boy would never remember their dream or what he looked like. He preferred it that way and it seemed that Jonathan didn't take much notice. However, he was beginning to act restless. Damian ignored it, not wishing to lose himself into this dream if he can help it. No matter what his heart was doing, he refused to allow himself to lose himself to this boy.
“Hey Dami,” Jon grinned playfully in Damian's dream, flying to Damian before lifting him from under his arms and up in the air.
“Put me down!” Damian commanded, squirming his way out of Jon's grasp, then stopped as soon as their hands touch.
“I don't want this to end, Dami. I want to remember you,” Jon said blissfully, almost pleading as Damian found his eyes on Jon's violet ones. He found himself lost in them, before turning red and looking away.
“Tt.”
“Hm?”
“Beloved, we're in a dream. Once we wake up, we will forget any of this,” Damian said, shyly gazing his eyes back to violet ones that showed true determination.
“Then, I'll find something to remember forever. I want something to take with me,” Jon said quietly and something about his voice made Damian's heart skip.
“Tt.”
Why did Jon always do this to him? They haven't even met and already Damian's heart was doing backflips. It was only a matter of time before they woke up and Jon would forget all of this. So, why did Damian not want to wake up? Why did this fleeting dream feel like a nightmare from the thought of waking up?
The moment Jon met Damian for the first time, he knew it was his soulmate. It was a mix between a dream and a nightmare with all the fighting. However, Jon felt himself continually gravitating to Damian every single time and they could never avoid each other. Not even Damian could avoid Jon. He had eventually stopped using the spell on Jon to remove his memories of their dreams.
Jon never called out or pointed out Damian using any spell to remove memories of their dreams together. If anything, it seemed as if Jon was becoming more affectionate and loving. Damian had to ask.
“Why?” Damian asked in a quiet voice.
“Hm?” Jon asked, whose head was leaning on Damian's shoulder.
“Why do you remain with me? I'm... I know you remember our dreams together,” Damian said, looking away shyly, while still feeling Jon's fingers lacing through his.
“Yeah. I also knew we'd meet eventually. You are the son of Batman.”
“But... aren't you angry I made you so anxious for all these years?” Damian asked, glaring at Jon, who wouldn't help but smile brightly with big violet eyes.
“Not really. Even in our dreams, I knew I would meet you one day and show you that no lack of memory of you would change how I feel. You're my soulmate and I will always meet you in our dreams.”
“Jon...” Damian said in a whisper as Jon hummed. “Please don't leave me.”
“Never,” Jon promised in a whisper, placing a single kiss on Damian's lips.
It felt so real as if those lips belonged together. Damian wanted nothing more than to sleep again, knowing Jon will always meet him in his dreams.
“Say it again,” Jon pleaded as Damian rolled his eyes.
A letter from Kathy Branden to Jonathan Kent while visiting Goldie. She recalls the years she lost 2-3 years ago.
Dear Jon,
I visited Goldie today. It's her three year anniversary. I know you don't come around here much anymore since... you know. It'd be nice if you came and visited.
Sometimes, I wonder if you ever think of our yester-years. The day we first met, or the time we went to the county fair, or that one time we came across Bizarro World. Do you think of those days or the time when my Grandpa and I tricked your family and lied to you. We were only trying to protect you and you all said you forgave us. But I never see you anymore.
I still think about when we used to watch movies together, go to school or play outside in the fields of Hamilton. That was two years ago. Even after moving to Metropolis, you still came to visit. Then, one day, you never came back. I remember you saying your grandfather was alive and wanted to take you with him. Then, I never heard from you again. I thought that's where you went. Then, I saw you.
I see you on the News in Metropolis protecting people. I see you fly by from time to time. I wait for you to come by, but you never do. Have you forgotten me? Where did you go that you would forget me? Why are you no longer the boy I found on the fields of Hamilton? I never stopped thinking about you or our times together. At one time, I was your friend. I once thought the same and maybe more.
When you find this letter, please think of me. Don't forget me again. Promise to come and say hi. Even if we can't be friends again, I'd like to see you one more time. Please promise you won't forget me again.

I apologize for the tardiness. I've been fully busy with school last week. I'm barely on discord these days. Anyhow, I have the official prompts and date of Jonathan Kent Ship Week.
The date of Jonathan Kent Ship Week will start at the 6th of January, then end on the 12th of January. I'm grateful for your votes, everyone. Now, for the prompts. Unlike the date, I allowed everyone to vote for as many prompts as they want. How the prompts will be decided will be the ones with the highest votes that reach 21 or more, so each day of the week can have 3-4.

This is my first welcome post, so welcome. This is a week about Jonathan Kent and anyone shipped with him. Whether it be popular or rare. I will tell you a little bit about Jonathan Kent Ship Week and why I've decided to do one.
I've often come across Jon Kent weeks and any week where he's shipped, and I thought it'd be cool if there was a week that focused on shipping Jonathan Kent with whomever. It's very often that any ship week that includes Jonathan Kent shipped with anyone usually are popular ships like DamiJon or JonJay, while excluding any rare or controversial pairings. Jonathan Kent Ship Week includes any and all pairings that are shipped with Jon.
The idea of this ship week is to bring everyone together regardless of who you ship Jonathan Kent with. At the end of the day, we all love Jonathan Kent and some of us have multiple ships with him. Any ship with Jonathan Kent is welcome. You're allowed to ship our favorite ball of sunshine with whoever you think would be right for him.

So far, the prompts with the highest votes are childhood and friends to lovers. The prompt with the second highest votes is best friends. The prompts with the third highest votes are Love at First Sight, School, AU and Jock Falls for the Nerd. The prompts with the fourth highest votes are Vampires, Soulmates and School Dance/Prom. The prompts with the fifth highest votes are Firsts, Starcrossed Lovers, Prince/Knight and the Dragon, Justice Lords, Angst, Rivals and Enemies to Lovers. The prompts with the highest votes will be included in Jonathan Kent Ship Week.
The votes for the week to have Jonathan Kent Week seems to be neck in neck with the first three weeks of January and the second week of February. I will keep you updated for the votes on the prompts and weeks we will have Jonathan Kent Ship Week.
