Szn 3 EP 1
Married life took a turn for the worst for Demetrius when they signed onto the show, and he hated it. He thought they were gonna be the couple that everybody wanted to follow, but instead everybody pegs him as the bad husband. Work did overshadow the marriage, but he felt like it also brought more attention to their flaws. When they decided to separate he was angry at @estonxa more than he liked to admit, but as time went on he felt himself growing away from her, and feared that she would do the same. Finally willing to fight for the marriage, they were at their first counseling session.
Therapist: Estonia, why are you here?
Estonia smiled and shrugged. “I don’t know. I never asked to come here, I agreed to it. I want my marriage and to support my husband, I’m here.” Estonia felt that all they really needed was communication, but if this is what they needed she would obliged.

6 Months x JONET
Maxim and I still haven’t spoke. I was depressed about it for a while until I broke out of it. Now I am focused on my music and am trying my best to be a better person. I just pray that this season, there can be healing.

EP 5: What are we??
Seeing @jonetwhy the other night stirred up some mixed feelings for him. At one end he was happy to see her, but he couldn’t forget how she walked out on him. With them being in the same city he didn’t want things to be weird. “Mind if I come in?” He smiled, walking into the studio.
“Sure, Hey.” She smiled. Jonet wasn’t expecting any company but she was glad to see him. They were a little awkward at the Solo Awards. It was like it was a first night out and they hardly knew each other. They were really really close before she left and now, she could tell there was resistance still on both sides. “I’m actually glad you came, we should talk right?” She turned off the system and sat back in her chair facing him.
“Yeah.” Maxim was glad they were on the same page. This was going to hopefully make the conversation go faster than expected. “I’ll let you speak first.”
This was getting awkward by the second. He decided to put her on the spot. Rightfully so, but she thought she was clear when she left the first time. Speaking of her feelings verbally placed her in an uncomfortable position. Her anxiety was getting the best of her and she didn’t know how to introduce this problem. She was dumb to think that things would just be okay.
“I don’t know how to explain it further into detail than what I said before.” She looked at him. “I love you Maxim, that will never change, but back then, we were going too too fast. I was getting my career going right after college, and you were getting yours off the ground too. I felt that we should have been more focused on that than a relationship.” She sighed. “I found myself getting so nervous because everything was so good. Almost too good and things don’t happen like that. Everything can’t always be perfect.” She frowned. “Point is, I was so scared. Scared to mess things up, and scared to get let down. I wanted to just leave before something bad happened. I know that’s selfish and I blame my self consciousness and anxiety for that.” She never told anyone including Maxim about her anxiety or social issues. This was the first time she was coming to grips with letting people know. She had been in and out of therapy and that part was easy. Getting people to understand was going to be a hurdle.
Maxim understood why she did what she did by listening to her explanantion, but at the end of the day he was apart of that relationship too. She was only thinking of herself, and then left him to just deal with his emotions. Now she comes back, and is just around like evrything was good annoyed him. “I think we need our space for now, because being around you stirs up feelings I can’t focus on right now, because you forced me to just focus on my career and I have to maintain it, and being pissed off, sad, and still in love with the girl that broke my heart is going to make it a little difficult.” He locked onto her eyes, so she understood that this wasn’t easy for him too, and right now he just needed a little time.
“Oh wow.” Jonet was completely floored. She was hurt that he would even assume that she wanted to force talking to him or try and act as if things were going to be the same. All she wanted was her friend and of course she was nice by default. She hated confrontation and making things extra complicated. He was breaking her heart but she knew that he wasn’t trying to. “Okay.” She nodded quickly and got up to brush her tears quickly away. “I’ll see you sometime then…I guess.”
It was breaking Maxim’s heart to see her break the way she was, but in this moment he had to be selfish. It was what was best for him, so he sat there looking forward holding in the tears with every breath.
Jonet grabbed her things and got out of there as quickly as her tears were falling.

“Congratulations on the Solo Sessions slot, I think that’s wonderful.” Jonet hugged Maxim. She sat at one of the candle lit tables with him. “Its been a long time, you look so handsome, I love these.” She reached and touched his braids. Jonet tried not to make this awkward. The huge elephant in the room was that she moved away when things got too “real” between them. Now she was back, and she had no clue how to address it, that was her reason for leaving in the first place. She didn’t want to address it
