Wedding Surprise
He just grinned in response as he kept walking. He knew he didn’t have to come but he also knew that it would bother her if he did. Food and bugging people were 2 of his favorite things. Jongup couldn’t decide if he thought the situation was horrifying or hilarious when a woman came and took the little girl away only to assume they were dating. Admittedly the other wasn’t the worst looking person in the world but her attitude was not attractive at all. He had to admit she was rather sweet with kids though, much to his surprise. In the end he decided he would roll with it and just laughed. Her reaction made it even better. He smiled brightly in the face of her glare. “I am from the side of the groom. My hyung is his best friend. I just got dragged along but hey, free food right?” He snagged a treat off the table and shoved it in his mouth in a way that was sure to make her think him a savage. The better to annoy you with my pretty, he thought to himself like the wolf dressed in grandmother’s clothes in little red riding hood.
Is she seriously stuck in a wedding with Mr.Annoying Jerk? just the thought of her made a shiver run down her spine. And she thought she was going to enjoy today.
Watching him eat, she looked at him with a disgusted expression. Her eyes rolling and without realizing it she grabs a napkin and reaches to his face to whip the cream on his corner of his mouth. “Where are your manners? you’re eating like a little–” Realizing what she was doing just when she was holding the napkin inches from his mouth, she froze looking up into his eyes.
Omo…is she nuts?! What is she doing right now???
Her eyes widen and she clears her throat throwing the napkin at his face and stepping away from him. “Ya! can’t you eat properly?!” What is wrong with her?! did she mistake him for one of the kids?!!?! What even?!
Crossing her arms she looks away from him too embarrassed to look at him. Of course as soon as she looked forward she saw her Aunt looking at their direction with a few other family members, all of them grinning like fools. Sighing she rubbed her temple. “How embarrassing..” She mutters under her breath.
He froze slightly as she approached him with the napkin. This was not how he expected this to go when he started teasing her. When she moved away he tried to cover up his momentary frozen expression by grinning at her devilishly and licking his lips to get rid of the excess icing. “If you wanted to touch my lips all you had to do was ask.” He said with a cheeky smile. “I mean I would have said no but you still could have asked.” This time the grin was more playful even though he basically insulted her but that wasn’t the point. He took another food item from the table and this time made a point to eat it more daintily so as not to offend her delicate sensibilities.
As if she wasn’t embarrassed enough hu, he dared to tease her further!
“You think I want to touch your lips?!” Letting out a chuckle of disbelief she runs her fingers through her hair. “I mistaked you for one of my cousins. You just act like a four year old most of the time so I couldn’t really help it.@ she forces a smile.
What an annoying guy! As if she didn’t have enough of him at school, she has to see his face outside of it as well. “Whatever, just seeing you tires me and puts me in a bad mood.” Turning on her heel to leave she then stops and looks at him over her shoulder. “Don’t follow me.” She looks at him with a cold expression and continues to walk away.
Just far enough she lets out a sigh of relief. She actually thought she was going to have a good time on this wedding. Not like she ever does thanks to her famil—
“Yeri-ah! Who was that your boyfriend??”
“Oh please Suji, Yeri never Had and probably never will have a boyfriend.” The two girls laugh together. Speaking of the devils…literally. Heaving a sigh, she was about to walk past them but her cousins ‘accidentally’ dropped their glasses of juice over her dress. Yeri gasped taking a step back and looking at her stained dress. “What was that for?!” She snaps at them but the two only laugh. “Opps our mistake!” One of them bursts out of laughter. “The dress was awful anyways. We’re doing you a favor dear Cousin.” The second one grins.
Yeri sighed trying to whip off the stain. It didn’t even surprise her, her cousins would always bully her in these kind of gatherings. It was their hobby as they once said.
He did what any mature adult would do and stuck his tongue out at her. If she wanted a little kid then that was what she would get. He made sure to scrunch up his face and everything for the full effect.
When she walked off he fully had every intention of following her. The scene before him caused him to pause. This was supposed to be a family wedding right? So was that her family treating her so poorly? He was slightly shocked when he saw the drink get spilled on her. Deciding he'd seen enough, he grabbed another cupcake and made his way over.
"Hello ladies, is everyone having a good time?" Right when he got over he 'tripped' and smashed the juice spiller in the face with the cupcake. He put on his best look of shock. "Omo, I'm so sorry." He pretend to help wipe it off and just got it even more on her face.

Wedding Surprise
One thing that Jongup knew was that weddings were not for him. Not in the sense that he would never get married himself (although that was a valid possibility considering his personality) but due to the fact they were dead boring. He was dragged along with his brother since he was the best man to the groom as well as the best friend. Jongup wasn’t especially fond of the guy so he felt like he didn’t belong here.
The actually wedding part of the day had already taken place and of course it was lovely and tears were shed and Jongup held back every yawn and snide remark because his brother punched really hard and he didn’t want to deal with his wrath should he slip up.
The wedding reception was in full swing and he wandered around looking for something to entertain himself. He was saving his phone as a last resort because he foolishly forgot to bring a charger. He snagged some finger food from the buffet table and stuffed in his mouth as he walked the area. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a familiar flash and turned his head to see his favorite classmate. By favorite he of course meant favorite person to annoy. He casually came closer to see what she was up to without being noticed. At she she was the usual stuck up, snotty, popular girl so he relished every chance he got to knock her down a few notches or ten and this was no exception.
“Hana! stop running you’re gonna get hurt!”
Yeri shouted while having to clean up whipping cream from a little boy’s mouth. Heaving a sigh she looks again at the boy and finishes cleaning him. “There now you’re looking handsome again.” The little boy giggles and gives her a peck before running away. Rolling her eyes, she turned to look if the Hana got too far.
She was used to it, she was quite good with little kids so in every gathering she had to take care of all the little kids in the family and this wedding was no exception. Hearing a little bump followed with crying she sighed and turned to look the other way. “Found you.” Shaking her head she walked to her and crouched down to help the girl up. “Told you, now now don’t cry.” She whips the little girl’s tears and fixes her dress. “Should i get you a cupcake? Hana loves cupcakes right??” She smiles brightly and soon the girl’s sad face turn into an excited smile. Getting up, Yeri grabbed the little girl’s hand. “Then let’s go!” Excitedly she was about to skip with the girl to the buffet when as soon as she looked forward and met with the last person she expected to meet, she jumps backwards. “Omo! what the hell you scare me!” Shouting after being so surprised she puts her hand on her chest and glares at him.
What was Jongup doing here?!?! Oh god….did he just see how she played with the kids?!
Once he was spotted he walked closer and smiled as charmingly as possible. “Well I am just enjoying the festivities. Isn’t that what you’re doing here?” He asked in the sweatiest voice possible. He was really laying it on think but he wanted to savor this moment. He glanced over at the little girl, whose hand she was still holding and switched his face to a more genuine smile. “Hello there cutie. I didn’t mean to interrupt you cupcake hunt. How about we walk and talk.” He made a let’s go gesture to the older girl so they could walk and talk so as not to keep the younger from her cupcake prize any longer.
Yeti was still dumbfounded at the fact that from all the people in her school….it had to be him that she meets there. Sighing she watches him talk to Hana and remind her of the cupcake.
“You don’t have to come with us…just saying.” She clears her throat as she walked, not looking at him. It forward. She really hoped he will.
Once getting to the table with all the cupcakes she reaches and grabs the prettiest one before handing it to the little girl. The girl smiles excitedly as she takes it.
“Hana! Say thank you.” Hero’s aunt comes to them before rubbing the little girl’s head.
“Thank you!” The girl yells and takes a bite of the whipping cream. “I’ll let you actually enjoy the party and take this little princess with me.” She laughs and yeri nods. Her aunt then looked at Jong up with a little grin. “You’re her boyfriend? Woah you two look really good together.” She winks at Yeri and picks up Hana before walking away.
It took Yeri a moment to realize what she just said. “He’s not—“ She yelled but her aunt was already far. Heaving a sigh she glared at him before turning to grab a cupcake for herself. “Are you like from the side of the groom?” She asks curiously taking a bite of her own cupcake.
He just grinned in response as he kept walking. He knew he didn't have to come but he also knew that it would bother her if he did. Food and bugging people were 2 of his favorite things. “Yeah….right on” Momo said and shook her head. “I’m the maknae, and lead dancer, thank you very much” She smiles proudly. She tilted her head as she looked at him. “Going to classes isn’t nothing though” She smiled softly.
He smiled at her feeling second hand proudness for all that she accomplished. “Lead dancer while being the maknae? How impressive. I’m jealous.” He grinned to show he was only teasing. “Well ok not nothing, but it’s not nearly as impressive to talk about.”
Though they were muffled, he could her her talking trash through the door and he couldn’t help but chuckle at that. She could deny it all she wanted but he knew the truth and he didn’t even need the bright blush of her face to tell him. If they hadn’t ended up in this situation she wouldn’t even be protesting surely. It was admittedly unfortunate and he wasn’t really planning on acting on any of his words. It was pretty tempting though …
He sighed deeply and flopped on his bed for his well deserved nap. Maybe they both just need a few hours to marinate on the situation so they could act like normal human beings that haven’t seen each naked.
He awake to the sound of scratching at his door. That must mean the grocery run was a a success because surely they only thing that would be scratching at his door is Chester. He sat up with a yawn and stretched as he got up to open the door braced for the attack of love his dog delivered to him upon being reunited. He ruffled the fur on the top of his head as he held the small dog in his arms where he’d jumped. “You act like I went off to war you silly dog. You left me remember?” He just gave a low woof and licked his face. “Yuck, dog germs.”
He smiled at the dog as he walked into the hallway, intending to make his way down the stairs to see what kind of food they brought back. Even though he ate before his nap he could always eat again. The wriggly dog was set on the floor as he made his way in the kitchen to greet the adults that were currently organizing the food. “Well don’t you guys look domestic already.” He commented with a grin and his father just shot him a look of fond annoyance. “Don’t mind my son dear, he just fancies himself a comedian.” Jongup pretended to look offended. “I’m hilarious. Chester laughs at all my jokes. Right Chester?” The dog gave a quiet woof in response to his name tail wagging wildly. “See, Chester supports me.” He father just laughed at him and gave him a pat on the back. “Help us put of the groceries son.” He gave a salute. “Yes sir!” His dad just rolled his eyes and went back to putting things away. He grinned cheekily as he set about helping, showing Soah’s mother where things went.
Finally her new room was clean and orgenized with no box to empty. At least cleaning got him and the situation she was in out of her head for a bit. Heaving a sigh she sits on her bed and lays on her back. She didn’t think she’d regret it…is she really regretting it though? He was the cutest guy and the funniest one from all the guys she met on that trip. But still, hooking up with him, how could she do that?! Pouting she started feeling her heart breating fast. “Calm down Soah! Just…calm down.” Sighing she sat up just to hear voices from downstairs. It seems they came back, she should probably go and help her mother cook.
Going down the stairs she looked around when she was greeted by Chester. Smiling she bends down and pats his head. Continuing to the kitchen she watches the three putting everything in place. They surprisingly looked like a family…and she was feeling a little left out.
Clearing her throat , she crossed her arms and leans against the aisle. “Mom, what are you planning to cook?”
“Oh daughter.” Her mother soon smiled as she looked over her shoulder. “I had an idea…do you think we should…share our secret dish?” Her mother put on a playful smirk winking at Soah. Rolling her eyes, Soah couldn’t help but smile. “Do you think they can handle it?” The two giggle and her mother turns to his father. “Can you two handle spicy? Or should I just make simple pasta?” Of course they were teasing them. Soah and her mother were really good with spicy food and even loved it. In their neighborhood there was no one who could win them on eating the spiciest of dishes.
He was busy putting away groceries and was really in the zone when he heard Soah enter the kitchen he looked over at her and smiled a friendly smile. She probably was in no mood to deal with him after what he did earlier but he wasn’t bothered. She couldn’t avoid him forever. They would surely get along better if he stopped teasing her but it was just so fun watching her get flustered. She was so cute.
His father called for his attention after he realized he’d zoned out a little bit and he set the food he was holding into the cabinet and turned around. His eyebrows went up slightly at the taunt and he looked at his father who was already looking back at him, challenge in his eyes. He grinned at him and turned to the woman in the room. “Me and appa accept your challenge. There’s no heat we can’t handle.” His dad nodded his head with a determined look in his eyes.
“Do you guys need any help or is it a secret?” He heard his father ask. Judging by their behavior he wouldn’t be surprised if it was but they were family now or near enough as not to matter. His father was also one of the best cooks he knew so if he helped it would surely be amazing. Not to say it wouldn’t have been anyway but he had no way of knowing.
As the two men took the challenge offered by them, the two smiled mischievously. It was pretty clear the two were mother and daughter, they even had the same smile.
“Oh of course you two can help. If you can learn how to make it that’ll be even better.” Her mother smiled happily already beginning to get all the ingredients.
Soah was ready. When it came to cooking she enjoyed it quite a lot. Especially when she cooked with her mother. And well…perhaps it didn’t seem too bad cooking with new people.
“Okay, you kids chop all the vegetables while we make the soup and the noodles.” Her mother instructed already starting to cook. Soah nodded but first she rolled up her sleeves, picked her hair up in a ponytail and then went to the sink to wash her hands. Seeing a chopping board already in use she looked around to find another one since she guessed He’ll use that one. “Do you have another chopping board?” She turned to him for a moment as she grabbed the vegetables and begun washing them.
He was slightly wary of the looks in their eyes but he wasn’t about to back out now and he knew his father would be the same.
He smiled when her mother was perfectly happy to teach them the recipe. His dad was a great cook but they didn’t really have any family only recipies and the thought of it would be pretty fun.
He dug out the additional cutting board and set it near by. He also found himself getting a knife for her to use. He went over and got her attention before bowing to her dramatically. “Here you are my lady.” He sat up and winked at her.
Soah loved cooking. It was something she did with her mother a lot since it was always just the two of them. She still wasn’t sure how it will be with these two men but perhaps it won’t be a problem.
Getting the knife from him so dramatically she looked at him before rolling her eyes and taking it. Okay perhaps doing it with him would be a little too annoying. “Grab a few vegetables and cut them in tiny pieces.” She pointed with her nose to the bowl of fresh and clean vegetables waiting to be cut as she herself already started cutting. Once she was done she put it all in one bowl. Grabbing a piece of carrot she chewed on it before going to him and curiously peeking. “How is it going?”
He pretended to be hurt by her reaction and clutched his chest. In the end he did what she said anyway. He took the indicated veggies and chopped them as small as he was able. He wasn’t the smoothest with cutting but he got the job down albeit a little clumsily and not as pretty as the fancy TV chefs.
When she spoke to him he jumped slightly since he had been so deep in focus. “Oh it’s going pretty well.” He looked over at her with raised eyebrows. “Did you get hungry on the job?” He looked around and didn’t notice any other chopped items. “Ah, I understand nkw. You’re secretly a slacker, or maybe you just like ordering people around.” He looked thoughtful for a moment before leaning closer to whisper. “I wouldn’t mind you bossing me around.” He wiggled his eyebrows at her.

She probably was in no mood to deal with him after what he did earlier but he wasn't bothered. She couldn't avoid him forever. They would surely get along better if he stopped teasing her but it was just so fun watching her get flustered. She was so cute.
His father called for his attention after he realized he'd zoned out a little bit and he set the food he was holding into the cabinet and turned around. His eyebrows went up slightly at the taunt and he looked at his father who was already looking back at him, challenge in his eyes. He grinned at him and turned to the woman in the room. "Me and appa accept your challenge. There's no heat we can't handle." His dad nodded his head with a determined look in his eyes.
"Do you guys need any help or is it a secret?" He heard his father ask. Judging by their behavior he wouldn't be surprised if it was but they were family now or near enough as not to matter. His father was also one of the best cooks he knew so if he helped it would surely be amazing. Not to say it wouldn't have been anyway but he had no way of knowing.

He had to hold in a laugh at her reaction. Yes he was mildly horrified that he slept with his would be sister but at the same time this could be fun. If anything he could get some laughs out of it and at best maybe they could have a repeat of their vacation.
His smile was bright with amusement as he helped carry bags. He greeted her mother politely when she explained her daughter was shy. He bit back a laugh at that. She wasn’t shy when he had her naked and moaning but that’s not something he was at liberty to discuss with the person that gave life to her.
Chester was of course ecstatic at the prospect of new humans to love and pet him. Jongup would almost be jealous if the little dog didn’t always come back to him as if asking for permission to get attention from other people. He nudged him with his calf and the dog of course shot right off to Soah.
“This is Chester. He is our fierce and dangerous guard dog.” He was of course making a joke but the fact that the dog immediately flopped onto his back with his tongue hanging out begging for belly rubs made it even funnier.
He went past her with a grin on his face and went to take the bags upstairs. He didn’t actually know what bags belonged to who but he just planned to get them to the landing and figure it out from there. He came back down to see if there was any other bags to collect. “Need anything else lifted?” He asked the group at large, taking the time to flex ostentatiously and shooting a wink to Soah in particular. His father of course rolled his eyes and pointed at the boxes. He took a couple with a grin.
Soah totally forgot about the situation because of this ball of cuteness and hair infront of her. Step brother? Who’s that? She doesn’t remember anything. Just this cute dog. “Chester, how can you be so cute?!”
Once her mother and soon to be step father came she finally let go of Chester and got up on her feet. Oh right the bags. Picking them up again she was about to walk when she sees him flexing. Rolling her eyes she sighs and goes up to him. “Where should I leave the bags?”
Once everything was set and and Soah could even unpack most of her stuff in her new room, she sat down on the bed and sighed. “This is crazy..” it’s been bothering her so much, she should probably tell her mother…yet, her mother looked so happy, how could she ruin it for her. How should she even tell her that? Hey mom you see? I had a one night stand with his son. Not only will she ruin it for her but her mother will also kill her. A knock on her door brought her back from her thought and she cleared her throat “Yeah?”
The door opened and her mother peeked inside with a bright smile. “Daughter! We’re gonna go to the closest grocery shop and buy a few things for dinner. I also need to know how to get there since I’ll have to go there a lot. Okay?”
“Oh..okay. You two have fun” Soah nodded before getting a nod back and having the door closed again. Wait— does it mean it’s only the two of them now?! Okay, the two need to clear things. If he opens his mouth and spills something they could be in real trouble!
Getting on her feet she hurried out of her room and looked around. Just as she looked she spotted him walk into a room. Running to him she runs inside her room just before the door closes and points at her finger at him. “Yo Jongup! We need to talk.” Crossing her arms she narrows her eyes.
“We both know what’s wrong and how wrong it is. Let’s just forget about it completely and act as if it never happened and we never met before. Okay? Okay good.” Not even waiting for a reply sighs with a nod and turns on her heel to leave.
Jongup had to admit he was slightly miffed about being ignored but he didn't let that get to him. They pretty much had all of forever to be forced to interact so he could be patient if he had to be. Chester followed him faithfully as he lead her upstairs and directed her to where he had put the other bags so that she was able to to collect her things from the pile.
He couldn't help the yawn that escaped him after all the things had been lugged into the house. It wasn't an especially exhausting task but he had stayed up a bit too late last night and then his father made him get up way earlier than he would have liked since they didn't know exactly when their new house mates would be arriving. Now that everything was in the house he was tempted to take a nap. First things first, he was grabbing a snack. Him and his small furry shadow made their way into the kitchen where he made a sandwich, making sure to toss some meat to his begging companion. Jongup didn't know why sandwiches weren't more common in Korea. They are basically the perfect food for on the go. Burgers and stuff were technically sandwiches but it just wasn't the same.
Finished with his snack he made his way upstairs and was stopped momentarily on the way by his dad who was just letting him know that him and his mother to be were heading to the store. Chester must have recognized the word store and starting running around his father in circles. He loved car rides and store meant car trip. His dad laughed and picked the small dog up. "Guess he wants to come with us. We'll be back soon alright." Jongup nodded and gave his dog and pat on the head, receiving a lick on the hand for his troubles.
A polite bow was given to Soah's mom as she went past to join his father for their grocery run. His room was in sight and he could hear his bed calling to him him. The door was almost shut when he heard a voice calling to him. He groaned internally but complied by giving her his attention. "Alright, what are we talking about?" Her rush of word almost went right over his sleep deprived brain but just as she was about to leave he grabbed her arm and stopped her. "Wait a minute there. You didn't think it was wrong when I had you spread along the mattress." He spun her around and pressed her against the wall, blocking her in with his arms like a kdrama. "What, are you nervous because we're living together now?" He asked, lowering his voice and speaking directly into her ear. "Afraid you won't be able to control yourself around me?" He pulled away with a grin. "Don't worry, it can be our little secret. I just need to know if you can be quiet. Don't want to wake anybody with any late not rendezvous ya know?" He shot her a wink before going back to his room and shutting the door so he could finally get that nap in.

“Yeah…I got some days off….I’m pretty busy otherwise with debuting with my group” She was proud to talk about it and wouldn’t mind the world to know she was gonna debut in Aspire’s first group, GEM. ““I’m doing well..What about you?” She eyed him.
He looked surprised by her words. “You’re about to debut? That’s really great! Wait let me guess your role.” He pretended to study her looking her over, up and down with a deeply concentrated look on his face before snapping his fingers. “Aha, you are the lead rapper!” The corner of his lips twitched as he tried not to smile. “Well compared to you I’m hardly doing anything. Just going to classes.”
