Finally, watching BoJack was a good idea – good jokes (both dialogue and some of the absurdity), well-written characters, including ambiguous women (we could have more characters like Princess_Carolyn but without the motherhood bias).

BoJack, as the main character, doesn't get away with everything – which is the focus, especially towards the end of the show. Overall, I like that BoJack is portrayed as an asshole, but a realistic asshole, someone you might want to empathize with even if you had a long list of his crimes right in front of you. (Perhaps one of the reasons he's a horse is to make him less annoying.)

I'd like to highlight Diane, who is quite relatable to the audience (her existence in this imperfect world, noticing the injustice of a society that isn't for, but often against, women). Essentially, she's one of the main characters, along with BoJack, she gets just as much development and even despite her views, have affection for BoJack.

have no issues with the ending, given how the show presents itself as as different from the typical sitcom, both a show in the real world and a show within a show, with BoJack as the lead actor. The ending fits perfectly within these boundaries - no catharsis for the audience, only realism and the inevitability of consequences.

(especially i liked how one episode even slipped in a meta joke about how society's problems are conveyed and shown using a male character.)

now it can spin

(but it falls off. I hope that when the glue dries completely, I'll be able to spin it without it falling off, but even if it does, it's still easy to put back in)
