"I for some reason play a lot of police officers on TV and in the movies. I think when Hollywood sees my  broken in and mangled face it just screams ‘cop’ to them. And I will say, I don’t want you to think I’m a silly method actor, but sometimes this whole cop thing does go to my head. Last Christmas I was coming off the set and I was driving home with my dog Boss…and I heard a woman on the side of the road scream, ‘Stop him, he’s got my purse!’… So I chase him, and I did that thing that you always thing in the cop movies and TV shows and I pulled my truck right in front of him on the curb and I flipped him over the hood of my truck and I got out and said ‘Police, freeze!’…I even took it a step further, I love that show Cops, so when I grabbed the guy I said ‘Do you have any weapons or anything sharp in your pocket that might stick me?’ Which is such a ridiculous line! And so I have the guy there and I’m pattin’ him down and it slowly starts to dawn on me that I’m not on set and he’s not an actor, he’s not a stunt guy, he’s a real criminal! And I am not a cop! I mean, I was unbelievably unequipped to be handling this situation!"
