Every day I’m grateful to wake up with an opportunity to be a better man than I was the day before. Every day I’m grateful that I get to wake up and make music for a living. Every day I’m grateful for the outstanding friends and family that surround me. I live a better life than most and I refuse to take that for granted. Goddam, I’m just really grateful for all that I’ve been given.

Last week was a dream. My first Grammy Nomination followed two days later by my second resident show in Nashville. There wasn’t a venue to play, so we threw our own party. What an incredible team around me. What incredible friends I have. What incredible fans and supporters I have. We’re building a scene. We’re building something special. I love you all so much.
