Jon Stark stopped her and gave me this vervain necklace | Spencer & Jon
Stark? Jon Stark was subbing in room 2146.
Rebekah Mikaelson attacked me. Jon Stark stopped her and gave me this vervain necklace.
âWhat do you mean?â she asked her the other teenager, but instead he just walked away. Figured. After all, Spencer was just that weird over-achiever who randomly lost the majority of her social skills a few weeks ago.
Jon Stark stopped her and gave me this vervain necklace.
Spencer remembered when Elena had told her this, but his name had gotten lost in the drama of realization that she was no longer alone. And he knew too. He could help her.
âIâm sorry, I have to go,â she muttered to the various group of kids who were waiting on the lunch line. She left her untouched tray on the counter before quickly dismissing herself from the cafeteria and rushing up the stairs to get to room 2146. She knew she was receiving a series of really odd looks, but she frankly didnât care. Everyone already knew she wasnât perfect anymore.
Jon StarkâŠvervain necklace.
âHello, Mr. Stark?â Spencer poked her head into the classroom. He wasnât at all what she expected. In fact, Spence was ready to turn right there and look for a sub who looked more like she imagined Jon Stark would look like, when she felt her own vervain necklace bounce against her chest.
Jon Stark stopped her.
âMy name is Spencer HastingsâŠIâmâŠIâm a friend of Elena Gilbertâs.â
"No, Mister Matthews, Leonardo DiCaprio did not paint the Mona Lisa but yes he should have won an oscar years ago." Jon smirked, allowing the class to burst out in their controlled muffled laughter before raising his brows at the student in question, "...and you're lucky I have no direct influence in enrolment otherwise you would have been kicked out of this class so fast it would have put Speedy Gonzalez to shame." The polite laughter picked up again but not before it was swallowed by the sound of the bell going off, marking the end of class. Jon couldn't have sighed in relief any louder. That class seemed to have dragged on longer than normal. Probably because he was actually sober this time.
As soon as the last student left the room and shut the door behind him, Jon quickly opened his bottom drawer and pulled out the flask he had stashed underneath the piles of paper. Not the most logical place, but since he moved around a lot it's not like he had to hide it in the same place all the time. But just as he unscrewed the top he heard the door being opened from the other side, "Shit!" He muttered, frantically screwing the top back on and dropping it back into the drawer before kicking it closed. After smoothing his hair he took a breath and glanced up at his visitor, he had been subbing at the school for months now but this was a new face. Jon was about to hold out his hand in greeting until he heard her mention Elena. Instantly his expression took on a look of worry at the name.
"Elena? What's wrong, is she okay?" He asked a little too quickly, his brow furrowed together in concern.
