You’re the only one to write the songs? That doesn’t sound like teamwork to me. No, I’m just messing with you, everyone has their own flow… but I can only imagine how stressful it is, to try to make something all the lads like. I know when I wasn’t solo, some of the songs I predominantly worked on had me feeling like they weren’t good enough to share. I hope you enjoy the tour, definitely grab that rest while you can. I’m sure a lot of jet lag is in your future.

“I do get some input on a few songs but most of the music was rewritten and produced by me. It takes a lot of time and very little sleep but I do eventually get there. They do other things that really help me out, believe me. They handle most of the choreography. We have a little input from a professional, though they do most themselves which is really helpful. Yeah I would say I do second guess my music sometimes, though the boys always reassure me. Your songs are really good too, by the way. Just remember, you are more talented than you believe. Yes don’t even remind me, not looking forward to the jetlag again. Maybe you could come to a show.”

joong: lol well i suppose you do have material to make them jealous for sure. i just.. idk it's stupid lol i kept waiting for our schedules to clear. like somehow you'd come back. it was dumb but i was silly back then.

joong: i know you do, you always were really kind. this has to be about you though and your happiness. no one else's.

joong: you want them to be jealous of what you've gotten to do with me? :P yeah.. i guess that's true. it'll be really weird, I never tried dating after our breakup. so i am really rusty.

“I can understand being that way though honestly. I don’t like that kind of talk at all, I remember the breakup talk with my ex. We really only broke up due to our scheduling conflicts. We were together for awhile, It felt like we were along headed to engagement before we decided to breakup. I should’ve fought to keep us together, I just didn’t want to have any confrontations. I’m not really good with those at all, no matter who it is. I’m sure whoever you’re talking about doesn’t mean to hurt you, though they did. I know it took me a long while to realize that my ex didn’t intend to hurt me either. Though I forgave them a long time ago, you know?”

“A lot of work since we just had another comeback. I write the songs so I kind of lock myself away in my studio for weeks while that goes on, the boys know to leave me be. I get stressed during that, so It’s best to be alone. Though now the album is out and we had our comeback. We’re suppose to have our world tour at the end of the year. I’m also trying to relax and take it easy when I can, you know?”

“Yeah I think it’s the worry of if they’re going to like it, you know? Like, will they enjoy the music as much as I do or my members do. I write most of the songs so I always worry that they won’t enjoy it, you know?”

“Not even a little subtle. Well for one, the accent definitely somewhat gives it away. Of course also your love of the area, which I can understand. I’m from Anyang, South Korea. It’s a rather large city honestly, though I do sometimes miss it. Ah that’s so exciting, are you excited? You’ll have to let me know so I can go see it.”

joong: i would love a cheerleader lol so feel free to come to as many as you want. i think it could be fun to have a familiar face in the audience lol. i'll even give you the lightstick to hold :P

So pop music? When I think of hip hop, I think more of like Future, Lil Baby, etc. I’ll have to check y’all out. That’s a good goal to have though, to get people moving.

“Maybe It’s considered pop in America, I’m not sure. Here, we’re more under the hip hop spectrum. Either way though, It’s been fun to create the music and enjoy it.”
