well you certainly did her justice and did a wonderful job! not many people can disagree, i don’t think. and if they do disagree, their opinion does not matter because the directors and everyone there thought you suited her best. they would not have chosen you otherwise. true, we do deserve the privacy but we expect it with the fanbases and korean idols seem to get a lot more of their boundaries broken by fans, not sure why. thank you! i will send the snippet to you asap. right? but i am so ready for the winter with how this humidity is.

Let him see that and see who comes running.”

“Yeah, I kind of felt like that too. But you know, my brain is always eager to jump and talk to him.” She said with a small shake of her head, hating that she had little to no self control at times. As she listened to Troye speak, he made a lot of valid points and it did help her put things into more perspective. “I’m not going to do it. I know my worth, you know I do. I’m just too much of a nice person to say something right away when my feelings get hurt or when I’m uncomfortable. I try and deal with it the best way I can.” Picking slightly at her nail polish, she sighed. “I know you’re right. I did text him and explained how I felt. I told him that it also wasn’t the fact that he had another ex come into the picture, it’s the fact that he said he was confused and needed to think but didn’t communicate with me at all after that. I vowed not to be pushy and to support whatever choice he made.. but I think I’ll leave it there. He can think about what I said and do with it what he wants.” Jennie finished by saying, an uncertain smile on her face. “But I really do want to know what has been new with you?”

Every so often the name Hayley is trending on Twitter and my mind (staying on brand as the special place it is) immediately thinks that pictures of me from the Disney days have resurfaced. That of all things. But no, it’s always about queen Hayley Williams as it should be which brings a whole new issue of it being a reminder that Paramore hasn’t released an album in 5 years. I would bring the full Disney look back (I’m lying) for a new album right now. So that’s where my head’s at most days and in case it isn’t obvious, the name’s Hayley but my government name is Lesbian Jesus. oh gosh, haha. however, i personally think lemonade mouth was one of the best disney channel movies. and it has one of the best soundtracks, too. no one can convince me otherwise. holy crap! has it really been that long since they’ve released a new album? i hadn’t realized, and i still hear their older songs all the time. what an impact. i do know you separately from that though and i know your music! i was supposed to see you once when you were opening for P!ATD in america but people were late on stage and we never got to see you. i was so sad. i think there was one other opening band that was late and they kinda messed it up for everyone. i am definitely going to go stream your new album. i’m jennie, by the way!

jennie: i mean, you kinda laid the ex thing on me after we were hanging out again and it wasn't weird at that time, i was understanding of it. i told you i'd support you, you needed time to sort yourself out, i understand but the longer you don't speak to me, the more i feel like i did something or that i'm not being considered, and i wasn't asked about my feelings either. if you don't like me, it's fine. but i'd rather have communication than to not be spoken to at all, you know? that is what upset me and hurt my feelings. i assumed that i was just being blown off because you decided to rekindle things with whoever and were talking to them instead and even if that was the case, that's fine, but choosing not to speak to me makes me feel more bad than anything else in this situation ever could.

Troye giggled as he held his mug up in the air, pretending to toast to his friend miles and miles away. A grin was painted on his face as she laughed along with him, before it was overtaken by her sigh and it had quickly taken Troye’s smile along with it. He listened to her carefully as he sat back, biting the inside of his cheek as he focused in on her words. “I’d say you should listen to your brain, but fuck, I’ve listened to my heart over my head plenty of times, I feel like I’d be a damn hypocrite to say that.” He pursed his lips together in thought. “You don’t deserve someone that’s going to put you in a love triangle. You deserve someone that’s going to take your feelings and not fucking… stomp on them. I mean, I get it, he’s honest, and I respect that, but… did he ever even ask you how you still feel? Like, he was game for seeing what happens and now there’s somebody else?”

shifting in her spot, jennie found the topic to be weird to talk about with someone else but she knew that she had to get it out and knew that troye was one of the most trustworthy people she had met. when he began to speak, she nodded; knowing that listening to her brain would be best from the start but it was so hard to ignore her heart who was encouraging her to be naïve. “i just... i’m not even being given a chance? not a proper one.. he tells me that he’s confused, wants time to figure it out, that’s fine -- but he hasn’t reached out to me since and i bet that other person is getting communication with no problem. that is what is getting me.” at troye’s next question, she shook her head. “no. he never asked how i felt. i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong to not even get communication. not throwing myself at him? crying pick me?” she asked with a slight roll of her eyes, taking a drink of her tea. “he just started bringing up that ex and about their memories... like nice, tell them to make new ones with someone else?” she couldn’t help but laugh lightly at the last part, knowing how it it sounded but would admit it came from a place of selfishness. “i did let him know that his silence is making it loud and clear to me. i’m a great person, and i do so much to make sure everyone is taken care of... it just feels like good people finish last, at least for me."
