                                     ‘ well it certainly tops the time you decided to put jay’s dick in your mouth, ’ lacing up her skates is taking considerably longer than it should, just another mild side effect of the vino they’d been taking pulls off of for the better part of an hour. ‘ times ? ’ siena pauses, nose  s c r e w i n g  up in a way that is sure to leave it’s mark when she’s getting on in her years, ‘ if you’ve done it multiple times does it count as one awful decision or several ? ’ 

              “ very FUNNY. ” she says, finishing tying up her skates with a double knotted bow. jordan was still unsure exactly how siena felt about whatever it was going on between her and jay, and it was comments like this that only furthered her UNCERTAINTY.  “ yes siena. times. his dick has been in my mouth multiple times. ”  jordan sighs, racking gloved fingers through her hair. “ and who says i consider it an AWFUL decision, anyway ? ”  the girl inquires before trudging closer to the ice, extending a hand out for the other girl so they didn’t both fall on their asses. “ you know, i invited you out here to SKATE and drink, not to talk about jay. ”

         any bouts of lasting attention remain on the girl before her , knees press to her chest as an airy expression forms across features . lips tug into something of a beam , gaze shifting from the buds scattering the table to jordan .   ’   eggnog is actually fucking disgusting , so i’ll take this over that any day .   ’   she muses , a MIRTHFUL laugh passing through lips as a response to the following statement . her focus refuses to shift from the other , watching intently as she moves the lighter , yet pauses . eyebrows raise in question before she manages to formulate a response of a simple query ,   ’   SHOTGUN IT  ?   ’   she asks herself as though seeking an answer she already knew . an impish pull of features replaces her once placid bearing ,   ’   i thought you’d never ask .  ’

      she’s taking a HIT before diandra can even answer, the burn in her lungs a familiar feeling now. jordan watches the other through the cloud of SMOKE passing from between her own lips, the corners of them etched into a LAZY grin.  “ mhm. ”  she hums, not too sure anymore why EGGNOG was being brought up or what that part of their conversation was about. all it takes is for diandra to say YES and jordan scoots over to the girl, green eyes trained on her even as she’s taking another hit, this time keeping the smoke TRAPPED inside her mouth as she sets the pipe down. jordan brushes a piece of diandra’s hair behind her ear, her other hand TILTING the other’s chin up before she’s pressing her lips against diandra’s to blow the smoke into her mouth. her hands linger on the side of the girl’s face for a moment too long, her sense of TOUCH heightened by the drug coursing through both their veins, and after a beat she pulls away. “ WHY haven’t we done this before ? ”  she breezes in a laugh, fingertips brushing against diandra’s knees, weed always making her clingy. “ you do it to ME now. ”

                                 there is a delighted little chuckle falling past his brims,   almost child-like,   as she takes his picture   &   if he wasn’t so very OCCUPIED by enjoying her company,   he would surely find it almost surreal how every little thing she does makes his heart swell like this.   ‘   oh ? will you add it to your collection then ? STALKER.   ’   he teases,   scrunching up his nose before trying to sneak a peak onto the small photograph between her fingers.   ‘   very,   i’ve always known modelling was my true calling anyway.   send your shots to gucci,   will you ? maybe they are LOOKING for a new face.   ’   jay grins at the blonde before a thoughtful hum falls past his brims at her next statement.   ‘   funny how you mention that,   i’ve was meaning to COMPLAIN about the very same thing.   ’   he muses with a pout on his face,   but is already reaching out,   fingertips brushing to her cheek.   ‘   do you want me to make it up for you NOW ?   ’                               

        she teasingly dangles the photo in front of him as she notices him trying to take a PEAK, an amused laugh slipping past her lips at his jesting. “ oh totally. i need to update my jay shrine, you know ? ”  she offers back before finally taking a GLANCE at the polaroid, unable to stop the smile from gracing her features. it’s SILLY really, how much like a school girl getting excited over seeing her crush in the hallway she feels. “ only if you put in a good WORD for me first. ”  she sets down the camera and polaroid carefully, DELICATE when she needs to be. “ you were ? ”  jordan arches a brow at his next words before the feeling of his FINGERTIPS gliding across her cheek renders her breathless, if only for a moment. her gaze dips to his lips before glancing back up again, the ghost of a GRIN coloring her expression. “ that does sound nice.  ”  she starts before brushing her hand against his other one, fingertip tracing up from his PALM to his forearm. “ but what if i wanted MORE than a kiss ?  ”

        fingertips working to pack weed into the bowl of her new glass pipe, jordan sits cross legged on diandra’s floor, her back against the couch. “eggnog is GREAT and all, but nothing says happy holidays like getting high as hell. ”  she says, looking over at the other girl, a grin tugging at her pink lips.  “ look how fucking CUTE this pipe is. i almost got you a matching one but then i saw some weed socks and it was just too funny. ”  she admits with a LAUGH, reaching for the lighter before hesitating.  jordan bites down on her bottom lip, light eyes regarding diandra curiously. “ do you wanna shotgun it ? ”  she asks, used to acting on IMPULSE around her friend, and tonight was so different.   “ i feel like it would be kinda FUN to try.  ”

         “ ––––– three, two, one. ”  she counts DOWN, the christmas gift from her parents trained on the boy in front of her as she snaps a picture. jordan grins as the polaroid processes, keeping it CLOSE so she’s the first to see the result.  “ if it turns out NICE im keeping it. ”  she warns the other, as if there was even a possibility a picture of jay could turn out any other way. “ so, are you honored to be my first TEST subject ? ”  jordan teases with a laugh, his COMPANY and the lingering holiday festivities making her giddy like she was a kid again. she takes a step towards him, brows furrowed as if she’s CONSIDERING something important.   “ now that i think about, maybe i should have picked someone else. i mean, you didn't even try to KISS me under any mistletoe this year. i’m hurt.  ”

     he’s laughing with her as he follows her down the sidewalk. “ that’s new for us, ” he replies with a chuckle. despite their plan, it was used so loosely between them that it only meant that they had come to an IMPROMPTU agreement on what would get their heart pumping for the day. he raises an eyebrow at her as she stops in front of the parlor, the exact one that he had gone into only twice. the idea of someone choosing a tattoo – choosing something permanent is a bit daunting to hunter. he finds that despite his regular recklessness, he finds tattoos to be something meaningful, something he believes in so strongly that he’d want it to stick by him for an eternity. but it’s jordan and somewhere within him is eager, so he decides to accept the RISK. “ okay, ” he cedes, but he holds up a finger. “ ground rules: nothing too large and i get to pick where it goes. ” as he heads inside the shop, he turns back around to her. “ i do trust you to pick something good, but you’re paying for a tattoo removal if it really does end up being shitty, ” he says with a laugh. curious, he follows his faux demand with a question: “ how many tattoos do you have already ? ” 

    she’s BALANCING on the balls of her feet, eagerness causing her to rock back and forth restlessly, the uncertainty of whether or not he’d agree settling in. while NO wasn’t typically in the duo’s vocabulary, jordan always had the FEAR that one day she’d go too far. today was not that day. she laughs when he sets out the ground rules, more than HAPPY to follow them. “ aye aye captain. ”  the girl jokingly salutes, migrating towards the samples to see if something POPPED out. she flips through one of the books as she mulls over his question, trying to remember the exact count. “ um — four i think. ” she says through a mouthful of smoke, taking a drag from the CIGARETTE she had stolen. “ i could be wrong, though. i wasn’t really sober for any of them. ” jordan laughs, not at all ashamed or embarrassed to admit it, especially not to hunter. despite the WILD nature of her tattoos each one meant a great deal to her, and she was excited to see what he would end up picking out for her. “ have you ever gotten a watercolor tattoo ? ” she muses, fingers tracing over a BLUE colored moon that had stolen her attention. next to it were two birds, black as night flying freely off the page. both REMINDED her of him in different ways. “ and how many tattoos do you have ? ”

   “ ––––– i admit this probably isn’t my BRIGHTEST idea, but it could be worse. ” she's standing at the edge of a frozen lake, ice skates in one hand and a flask in the other. not ten minutes ago jordan had POURED the remaining contents of the wine bottle her and siena had been on their way of finishing into it as they departed to go skate, a milford holiday tradition SPICED up. “ we should be fine. i mean, we might fall on our asses but that’s the fun of it. ”  she turns to face the other girl now, offering the flask so she could start lacing up her shoes. “ and any pain we feel will be temporary NUMBED in typical tipsy fashion. what could go wrong ? ”  jordan grins, laughter trailing her words as she traded her boots for skates, eager but nervous to get on the ice. any UNEASE she feels is blamed on the possibility of injury and not on the mixed feelings on how the other girl sees her that she always picks up on whenever she's in siena’s company.

she mulls it over, listening intensely to the blonde’s story, despite the rambling. truth is, mina knows there’s a lot of cheaper options than the expensive official gallery, but she’s been using the rent money as an excuse for years—despite actually having the means to. an excuse to COWER away, and keep her art to herself, where no one could judge it. “yeah, but is it like… some place where she does coke with other hippie kids or?” she asks, still trying to run away. “i don’t know if i can handle the bad ENERGY, if that’s the case.” she’s thankful for jordan, in this moment; though they’re not as close as they once were, adulthood getting in the way, the female has always been an unwavering cheerleader; always rooting for mina’s success, even when others don’t. “i’m good, yeah, but it’s only because i paint without any strings attached. i mean, i want to show it off but if i get one bad comment, i’ll die inside.” she laughs, despite the confession of one of her biggest fears. “i didn’t mean to—i just don’t want to impose anything on you.”

     jordan arches a brow at the other girl SKEPTICALLY, her attempts at dodging transparent. she knew all to well what it was like to make excuses, and as much as she hated to admit it, there was no denying HIDING was easier than the idea of things not turning out exactly as you dream them. still, the last thing jordan wants is for mina to feel that way about something as IMPORTANT and beautiful as her art. “ then i’ll cleanse the place with sage just in case. ” she promises, moving on to collect the empty plates on the counter before stopping to look at her friend. “ not everyone’s gonna be into what you do.  ––– but not everyone MATTERS. ”  the girl shrugs, as if to demonstrate how simple it was. “ you can’t let the possibility of some assholes saying something mean about your art stop you from showing it off. like, what if EVERY artist thought like that, huh ? what the fuck would exist out there ? nothing. ”  jordan shakes her head. “ you’re not imposing, you know i’d support you. seriously mina, we can’t BOTH be scared to go live our dream lives. that’s just depressing. ”

         “ you do what you do to make money and get the hell out of here, ” he explained with an equal chuckle. hunter untied his apron and tossed it to a co-worker as he followed her outside, her desire for ADRENALINE contagious, so ever-present that it could have left a trail behind her. he stole the cigarette out of her fingers, placing it in between his own lips, eager to scorch his own lungs. he seized the lighter, too, flickering its flame and inhaling the smoke. as he handed the lighter back to jordan, he instantaneously grinned at her ideas, a flash of a spark beginning within him and BURNING. “ tattoos. i haven’t done that shit in a while, ” he said decisively – he hadn’t gotten a new one since the month that he had arrived back in milford. “ and then you can hop on my motorcycle for another shot ? ” he suggested. hunter was always amused when he was teaching jordan – she wasn’t terrible but her enthusiasm was enthralling. “ you up for that ? ” he asked, knowing full well that he needed no reassurance; whatever adventure they impulsively decided upon, the two had always found themselves in the midst of it without too much thought.

     she’s quiet when he mentions getting out of milford, fully aware that UNLIKE her he’s actually done it before, free from the decisions and possibilities about leaving that HAUNT her. outside jordan is eager to get going, her lips tugging upwards into a smile as he takes the cigarette from her and LIGHTS it, her hands pocketing the lighter once he returns it. she doesn’t wait for the two of them to come to a consensus before she starts walking, every corner of their TINY town memorized. “ sounds like we have a plan. ”  jordan laughs, just that much brighter at the promise she’d be getting to ride later on. nothing in milford is out of reach, and soon enough the entrance to her preferred tattoo and piercing shop LOOMS before them. jordan steps in front of him so she’s blocking the door, an idea popping into her head. a DEVIOUS grin colors her expression, and she arches a brow as she regards him. “ okay wait —” she begins, and nothing good ever follows.  “ why don’t we CHOOSE each other’s tattoos ? ” she asks hopefully, not waiting for him to agree before she steals the cigarette dangling between his lips and moves aside to gesture for him to go inside first.“ you go first. i mean, you trust me, don’t you ? i wouldn’t pick something shitty. ”

                             it ticks him off,   how utterly SATISFYING it is to hold her like this   &   the idea of never wanting to let her go keeps seeping into his brain.   he doesn’t reply to her question,   humming quietly instead,   his mouth traveling to her cheek,   to her jaw,   to the soft skin behind her ear   &   he presses a soft kiss there.   ‘   i MISSED you.   ’   he breathes out,   arms tightening around her slim form   &   he is grateful that they are in the dark   &   she cannot look him in the eye because he’s AFRAID he’d say something more.

     usually she tries not to think about him too long, just because there really should be a LIMIT to how much time in a day she thinks about him. but his lips are pressing against her neck and she is thankful for his arms around her, sure the sensation would have left her TREMBLING otherwise. “ i missed you, too.  ”  she ends up saying, the urge to say MORE tugging at her. what she means is that that she missed this— him holding her close, the way her heart LURCHES like when she’s doing something crazy. “ are we done being dramatic ? ” she adds as an afterthought, and it’s silly really how dizzy she gets, so much so spins around to face him instead, her hands on his CHEST to create some distance.

ryan knew that look, and that look was never good. at least, not when jordan was wearing it. ❛   for some reason,   ❜ ryan began, tensing up a bit as jordan slung her arm around her shoulder, but after a few seconds relaxing. ❛   the things that you say are going to be FUN, never actually are. but, i don’t think i have much of a choice on whether i want to go on this adventure or not..   ❜ pausing for a second, ryan glanced up at the girl with a sour look on her face. ❛   ..do i?   ❜ 

      it was always so amusing to TOY with ryan, the power she so coveted jordan’s to snatch without even trying. “ tsk tsk, you’ll hurt my feelings. ” she pretended to pout before breaking the facade and laughing, already guiding the other towards her plan. “ you’re just saying that because you NEVER have any idea what i’m doing and it bothers you. ” the girl stated knowingly, grinning at ryan’s displeased expression.“ good girl, you already know. ” she gave little away as she kept on leading the other seemingly RANDOMLY before they reached the back of tod’s and the locked area where only the employees had access to.“ now WHY would they keeped this door locked if we have everything we’re supposed to need already around us ? ” she wondered out loud, not really askin ryan for an answer before she’s dropping her arm, pulling a bobby pin from her hair and picking the lock. in less than a minute the door SWINGS open, and jordan steps aside to let the other girl pass.“ after you. ”
