Final Open House Flyer: This poster was loosely inspired by Bobby Clark’s art about minimalism and balance. I was thinking of ways of capturing peoples attention but also leaving an impression, so i conceived the idea of making the “art” and “open house” text the main vocal point.Â
Final screenprint- “Lilith” is inspired an animated TV series, “Neon-Genesis Evangelion, that’s widely celebrated for its adult themes, psychoanalysis on humanity, and breaking conventional story-telling tropes. I wanted to make an overwhelming iconoclastic image, that was clear upon review that it was aimless in delivering a poignant message. The bloody-orange color and black made for a strong contrast, however,  as time elapsed I felt the color to be distracting. Overall, the process behind to print was much more gratifying than the end result due to the novelty and manual labor it took to make it.

Inspiration for Myriad cover.
First image is a picture of a coffee shop that fits the industrial aesthetic of inner-cities and the second image is a album cover by a black metal band known as Deafheaven.Â
Final design for Myriad 2018 coverÂ
I was inspired by the bold typeface that are displayed at coffee shops and thought this would fit the motif of your typical inner-city coffee table scene. I think the deconstructed fonts help make the words stand-out along with the rainbow gradient across the font symbolizing the inclusivity of people occupying the school.Â

Inspiration for Myriad Flyers
Final design for Myriad 2018 flyer
I was inspired by MOMA’s flyers plastered sparsely around underground New York train stations, partly because of its minimalistic motif and also the bold lettering divided by spacing was eye-catching. Â
