It's fun cooking with Alex, and as much as he says I'm getting better at cooking, I still think mine would be a complete disaster without him involved. But at least I can help cook for the kids, and they end up actually liking what we make together. Thankfully his kids are pretty easy when it comes to food, since they'd probably request chicken nuggets every night if they could get away with it. But anything they can eat with their fingers is decent for them. That's exactly it, that it's easier to watch someone do the steps and follow along that way than read a recipe I'd probably forget something in. i feel like i have a lot of random moments where i feel like i'm blessed to be an adult -- but i also have moments where being a child again wouldn't be so bad either. but only because you didn't have so many worries as a child, right? you could be a lot more carefree. i can't say that i was ever restricted when it comes to sweets or any kind of food as a child. thankfully, coming from a chilean family, they're always pushing some kind of food on you, and a lot of the time it was a sweet treat like cuchufli's. but my thing was when i was growing up, i wasn't allowed to watch a lot of tv because my mom thought it rotted your brain. i used to have to sneak to my abuelita's to watch when i was younger -- but then when i got older, i would spend so many hours watching tv and to this day i'll binge-watch shows on my couch for days sometimes because i can. and even with becoming an actor, she still thought tv rotted your brain -- though when she passed away, i was 24 and still struggling to become famous, so maybe she would feel differently now. but either way, i can't help but watch as much tv as possible, since i wasn't allowed to when i was younger, unless i snuck to abuelita's that is. but i'm such a couch potato when i'm not filming, and i'm fully not ashamed of the fact! i'm also all for sharing cupcakes, and if you've never had a cuchufli, i'll bring you some because you'll possibly love them. || @dastmalchianhq

well, i like to believe i have an eye for photgraphy -- especially since i feel like i have a good eye when it comes to beautiful things, you know? but i'll show you some of the photos i've taken recently, and you'll have to let me know if you think i'm any good or not, because i think i'm doing a decent job for just starting out! i even took some really good photos of lux that she was really happy about, and she posted them on her instagram! plus, you're a good friend to encourage me like you are, and i'm always down for you being my photography buddy, my friend! next time you're not busy, let's take some photos together! and thank you, every photo you send me i end up loving, so please send me more! how did your trip to the arctic go? from the photos you sent me, it looked like a lot of fun, but i'd love to hear firsthand, and you didn't die from freezing to death, which is awesome! plus, those underwater icicles were gorgeous. i'm glad you sent me those photos. i had a feeling that would make me more suspect, but oh well! hey, snapped has taught me a lot, my friend. like, i know all the things not to do so i wouldn't get caught, but also, don't piss off women already on the edge. i'm glad you've not turned up murdered yet, so you are doing good. plus, i don't see z taking you out. i've seen how you two look at each other and all. i'm glad i got to harass you while you were in la for the holidays, it was fun getting to spend time with you! and i did get a pretty decent break, but now i'm all over the place with the last of us, star wars, and fantastic four and a couple of other projects that i feel like i'm leaving out, i work too much, man. but you'll be in my shoes too soon, mr. movie star, because i've been seeing your name everywhere! i'm still on the fence about being cool -- but at least you think i'm cool, my friend. and i'm glad you're staying away from booktok, i don't need you to be getting scarred for life. however, i am tempted to send some things to z just to make her laugh, so there's that. it's cute that you don't think people always find you hot, because i can tell you right now that you could play an oompa loompa and you'd be the hottest fucking oompa loompa around. i loved your character so much in the bikeriders, my heart broke for him though! you did a great job of squaring up against tom hardy though, and i can see why booktok ladies and fellas have biker kinks. i'm always happy to drop by when you're filming somewhere and i've got nothing going on, so let me know next time you need some spirits lifted on set! and it wa good getting to hang out with you in norway by the way, and if you're going to be in kentucky you better make time for me, or i'll be salty. i did have a good holiday, though, got to spend it with my family, and that's always a plus, i did the same with easter too. did you spend time with family? or are you stuck on set? and i'm in la for a little while before i have to head to the uk to start filming the new avengers film, my job is never done, it seems. || @butlerhq
