"Si, The copper," Zeph grinned at Roman again before he followed him to a booth. He sat across from Roman and smiled at the waitress when she came up and took Roman's order of black coffee. "I'll take a coffee too," he said. "And two fresh orange juices," he said as he gestured between them.
"I'm thinking about an omelette," he said as he looked at the menu. "Spinach and feta with bacon I think," he said thoughtfully. "I know you said you were thinking about waffles, right?" he asked as he glanced up at him. "And bacon, yes," he smiled at Roman. "So how are things going at work? They still let you work around the girls when you're such a creeper?" he asked teasingly.
âAn omelette? Always a good choice, especially the meat one.â Even before Roman was a wolf, he ate fairly unhealthy food, always getting greasy meals filled with meat. Now, the werewolf side worked in his favor when it came to metabolism. âWaffles, some eggs and bacon. Mayne some sausage links also. After all, youâre payinâ right?â Not that the food was all that expensive at the little hole in the wall diner.
A chuckle fell from his lips, âI think there is a hint of jealousy right there. Not my fault all those ladies get wet just thinking about me and end up riding my dick.â Perhaps he should slow down or take a moment to learn one of their names, but it wasnât his style. After his wifeâs death, he was never the same and he used alcohol and sex as his coping mechanism. âWhat about you?â
