The NYPL (New York Public Library on 5th Ave and W 42nd St) has a free (FREE!) exhibit of their treasures. Among them great items like Charles Dickens’ writing desk. One of my personal favorites image the handwritten liner notes to the Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue album by Bill Evans. This is a masterpiece as well! And from the year I was born! Visited the Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford CT today. And it’s really a very very beautiful house! Had a meeting last week in the Ophelia Lounge at the top of the Beekman Tower. Built-in 1928, the iconic art deco tower on the East River was originally known as the Panhellenic Tower. It originally served as a womens-only club and hotel space for the national Greek-letter sororities.
