devilishlytasty:
“Do you ever cut the crap?” She asked honestly as she tilted her head and smirked. “Honestly, it’s hard to think anyone can talk to you when you sound like a robot,” She scoffed. “Best friend, is that the new word for ‘I’m the thrown away fuck buddy’? That’s cute,” She said as she stood back up straight. “So who would you make minister, if anyone could be an option?”
“I’m not sure what you’re expecting Diana.” Josephine responded calmly “I’m sitting in a cafe doing my work and enjoying a coffee, and you accost me. I’m happy to assist you, but trying to provoke some kind of rise out of me is frankly childish.” She smiled politely, before a short laugh fell from her lips. “We have always been best friends. It is unlikely anything will change that.” she said simply, rather than addressing the other part of her taunt. “If I could choose anyone? My father. He’s an excellent businessman and has years of political service. Alas, he thinks he’s too old for politics these days, and decided not to run.” she answered with a fond smile.
