Photoshop CC v 20.0 Update
Hello fellow artists! We have been informed by several of our patrons that their tablet is no longer functioning in the newest update of Photoshop CC on Windows. Our head engineer has been alerted to this issue and is working on updating our drivers as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we have found a solution for you and are providing the instructions for our users here and through our tech support chat:
- Close Photoshop if it is open.
- File path to open: C:\Users[YOUR_USER_NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019\Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Settings
- If you cannot find the AppData folder, go to the top of the window and click “View” and click on the box “Hidden items” - AppData will appear after that has been selected.
- Open the program “Notebook” and type in:
# Use WinTab Use
SystemStylus 0
- Save the file to your Desktop and title it: PSUserConfig.txt
- Once saved, move the file from your Desktop to the previously opened folder “Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Settings” by left click and dragging it into the folder.
- Close the folder and reopen Photoshop. Pen pressure should be functional now.
- If it is still not functional, make sure “Windows Ink” is checked on in the Pentablet Settings.
