Lilly is standing behind the Janus Make up counter with a bright smile on her face, as the man walks by she says in a very enthusiastic tone "Hello Sir! Would you like to buy anything for a loved one today?"

Josiah is actually enjoying being out and about, even if he is in a mall of all places. Going wherever he wants whenever he wants is still a novelty, but he’s hoping to readjust quickly. Which is why he’s ventured out in the cold today. Well. He is also a little short on clothing he’s actually willing to be seen in. His wanderings take him into a department store, and he cuts through the women’s department on his way to go look at clothes when a girl at the makeup counter calls out to him.

Well.

He’s about to mumble something vague and be on his way when he realizes she looks familiar. Hmm. Josiah stops in his tracks and detours over to the counter. “You know,” he begins thoughtfully, “my sister’s birthday is coming up soon. What do you recommend?” Hopefully she’ll spend long enough on a sales pitch that he can figure out where he’s seen her before.

Since her conversation with the owner of Janus Cosmetics Lillian has been trying too hard to show that she only wants to be good for the company.

As the man in the turtle neck walks over she smiles brightly at him nodding at his question: “Well we have several gift sets including make-up sets, a collection of perfume and nail polish sets. It all depends on what your sister likes most and your budget. We have some winter themed sets” she moves grabbing a collection of blue, white and silver nail polishes “and some spring stuff for those looking forward to the warm weather” she grabs a preview gift box of brightly colored eye shadows and liners. Lillian lines them up on the counter and smile warmly “do you think she’d like make-up, scents or polishes the most?” the scents are on the other end of the counter and she did not want to walk away from the man so as she said scents she gestured to them.

"Hmm." Josiah makes a show of considering the various boxes on the counter while he actually looks over the woman chattering about them. He knows he doesn’t actually know her. Good, she’s got a nametag.

…Lillian? Oh. This is the girl who sent that highly entertaining email. Josiah can’t quite keep the smirk off his face, though hopefully he can school it into something a little friendlier. ”You know, I think she’d prefer the polishes, but I’m not sure about blue and silver. She likes… lots of color.”

“Well, we do have a few other gift sets” her expression stays friendly and professional, as she moves around she misses his smirk. Lillian places a gift box with metallic colors and another with neon on the counter she asks ”Do you think she’d like either of these better?” Insecurity starts to settle in as she tries to make the sale she so smiles even brighter to try and cover it. ”I can also gift wrap it for you.”

Josiah actually pauses to consider the two gift boxes. Given who the one person he's remotely in contact with who wears nail polish is... "I think she'll love the neon," he says after a moment. He smiles a little in spite of himself.

"Gift wrapping would be delightful, actually." Wrapping of course means shredding later.
