Okay I get to talk about Maggot Prince yayyyyy

-Prefacing this by saying that a lot of this is based off “Let the Maggots Sing” by Mili, which is super underrated and you should totally listen to!!!

-Anyways, I am firm believer of the theory that the other Decisive Weapons (Maggot Prince, Moth Princess, Lord of the Flies) of G-Corp are Gregor’s siblings (includes mysterious sister that is mentioned a few times).

-Also I’ve given him a name, which is Gabriel!!! This is based on one of Franz Kafka’s real life sisters, Gabrielle, due to how Hermann is seemingly named after his father.

-Soldiers of the maggot kind don’t have visible/as extreme mutations until they’re fatally wounded, which leads to their horrific forms literally bursting out of their skin.

-Back to Gabriel, he had a partial transformation that came before full Maggot Prince mode, which let him keep most of his mind while also being able to utilize his abilities.

-The full transformation is this giant, terrifying worm looking creature, just completely fucked up. Maybe his human form is sticking out somewhere, kinda like Moreau’s mutated form from RE8.

-He holds a bit of jealousy towards his siblings; he’s stuck on the ground while they get to fly freely (or as freely as they can).

-Similar to the “Intrude. Infest. Thrive.” mindset thing that the Roach Emperor has, the Maggot Prince holds the belief that even the lowest creatures should be allowed to dream and live the lives they want, no matter how twisted they may be.

This is all I’ve got for now, I’ll add more if I ever come up with anything else.

It’s sucks whenever there’s a character that’s only mentioned offhandedly and there’s so little about them that you’ve basically made up their entire everything that’s bound to be proven wrong when more info is revealed.

Hiiii!!!!! I absolutely adore your rooftop party member sprites (I love Dan’s especially) but I was wondering if you’ve done one for Morton? I don’t think it’s been posted anywhere, and I wanna see my favorite cricket all fucked up <3

I didn't start posting the finished sprites until I was about halfway done with all of them, when some friends urged me to post them, so no I never actually posted Morton's, as he was the 3rd? one I did!

However, here you go!

The idea for this one was made by my co-mod dev @bugeyedragonsarecool with the idea being he's a dragon with a horde of junk. I did wanna go back to this one and edit it a bit (more teeth/spikes on the two tails? it looks a little bare? spikey-er feet?) and also I liked the idea he'd randomly pull out one of his fidgets to change what his attacks would be for a few turns, kinda like the Type Writher? not sure if it'd summon it as its own enemy, or just change his actual sprite to hold it in the front two claws, but I need to go back and draw it

It’s my oinky boinkyyyyy!!!!! Chimere!!!!

He’s an insomniac that was struggling with going to sleep when The Visitor came, so now whenever he does go to sleep That Thing comes out of him. He only remembers his experience as a strange dream, and it also leaves him dazed and out of it the morning after. At first, he’s not aware of being cursed, but he does eventually figure out (he doesn’t take it well).

Random facts:

-Young adult, specifically 23. Do not call him old.

-Originally lived on the first floor, but moved to the third floor after his apartment got attacked. He moves to apt 36 in specific.

-Was friends with Kaeley before the whole apocalypse, and visits her often after moving to the third floor.

-Out of the other party members, he gets along with Audrey the best, with Aster and Phillippe following up.

-Despite what he claim’s, he is surprisingly good with kids! He’s more of a big brother than an actual parent, but it’s better than nothing.

Do you guys like my Aster Mii, he keeps acting weirdly in-character and he’s also gotten involved in a love triangle with Armin Arlet and Don Quixote limbus company that he has no idea about

after taking a bit of a break to work on other stuff, we're back to cursed roof boss sprites! This time we have Dan, who i had no idea what to do with and then somehow spiraled into...all of this. (placeholder dialogue bc im too tired to write all that rn)

idea here is using his existing cursed form, but merging with his phone to keep streaming the roof/the fight against him. he'll switch between his good and bad dan states and skills randomly, and after going through them 3(?) times he'll go into that second phase

Guy ended up with a whopping...17 unique sprites for his fight, 18 if you count the background with the body. no surprise this one took by far the longest of all of them so far to work on

I saw you as an ask on someone else’s blog, where you mentioned a Were-Aster au which made me go 👀 because (assuming I’ve guessed the plot) I have a similar au in the works and I am also obsessed with Dream Eater Aster. Anyways I was wondering if you could talk about it a little!!!

(Sorry if this sounds weird or anything)

It’s not weird at all, don’t worry! I love being asked about my AUs and things ^^

My wereaster AU generally centers around Aster (obviously) after he accidentally gets a glance outside, but ends up thinking everything is fine afterwards since nothing happened to him.. at first!

The first person to witness Aster’s mutations is Morton. In the AU, Morton is very interested in him and gets worried when he goes and hides in the Floor 3 janitor’s closet (he was staying at Sam’s apartment before the mutations and picked the lock to the closet). Morton keeps him company both out of concern and interest in his mutations, and the two kind of find out they have feelings for each other!

Aster manages to hide his mutations for a good 3-5 days, hanging out in the closet at night.. uuntil Jasper ends up getting suspicious because he hasn’t been seeing him as often. Jasper meets with Aster to talk with him, Aster tries to brush it off and leave, but the mutations end up kicking in before he can run off. Jasper is a bit peeved he didn’t tell him, but not all that angry with him.

Beryl ends up being part of Aster’s support system, since Jasper obviously had to tell the others LMAO. She actually ends up letting him hang out down in the basement’s security room at night! It’s a lot less crowded than the janitor’s closet ^^

I have some other plans for the AU, but nothing’s really set in stone. I was thinking of having Aster find out more about Sybil via Jasper’s dreams, going to talk to her in apartment 35, which leads him to trying to talk Jasper out of the ritual. I don’t intend on any other astronomers getting cursed other than maybe Jasper?? Oh and Jasper and Sybil end up seeing each other in the end cause I think they deserve to have whimsy grr

Not sure if I’ll end up actually writing a fanfic, but maybe if I’m not lazy LOLL

The au I mentioned is kinda similar to yours, but also with a few differences. Details include:

-Aster intended to purposely look at the photo Sam gives him, wanting to figure out the pattern with The Visitor’s effects.

-He drops the photo after getting attacked, but he isn’t sure if he actually caught a glance at it, so that makes the transformation happen on and off.

-There are a few people that suspect Something’s Up, the notable ones being Hellen (she saw him leave the night he decided to look at the photo), Leigh (weird Cursed to Cursed communication/sense), and maaaaaaaybe Nestor?? (Worm hivemind shenanigans, this one isn’t set in stone)

I am in the process of writing something with this idea, plus I might post more about this concept some time :)
