Were you able to see the Northern Lights? If so, where? and is it hard to find? :)

Yup, I saw them in the outskirts of Tromsø, Norway. :) You have to go far, far, far up north to see them. And sometimes they aren't there. You have to check weather patterns and everything!

what gave you a culture shock in Dijon?

For me the biggest culture shock was really how purely French the city was; here and there you meet people who can speak English but most can't or won't bother. It can be intimidating, but actually, the French are nice people, you just need to be patient with the language barrier. :)

Hi!! I’m going to Dijon this year’s JTA. How did you handle your housing? Like, where did you stay? And how did you handle banking as well? :)

Hello! Yahay, I'm so excited for you. :) You're gonna have such a great time. For housing, you can either try to score a dorm (for this, you talk to the partner school through the OIR) or if you want to stay in an apartment or something, you have to try to get in touch with a realtor in France or use the internet to find a place. You can also try City Loft - Dijon, it's a hotel/residence, that's where we stayed. :) There are a few options, but it's all budget dependent! As for banking, ESC Dijon will help you set up a French bank account on Orientation Day and give you an ATM card as well, so just wait for that. :)

Hi! About JTA, what happens if all my top 3 choices are gone by the time it's my turn? Assuming I'm part of the lower ranking group. Can I still change the schools I want to attend on the spot or does that mean I really won't be allowed to join the JTA? :)

hiii what does P or C mean in aisis? im expecting to fail a subject but it says P there. does that mean i passed the subject or does that just mean my prof passed my grade to aisis already?

You passed the subject. :) Congratulations! If you fail "N" will appear. "P" means passed, while "C" is " currently taking", which means the grade has not been officially released in your account yet.
