What happens if a participant doesn’t respond to an email? I’m a bit paranoid I misspelled or smth and wondering if you’ll reach out through disc/social media

If this happens we will try reaching them on any socials they put in the application.

do you know more or less from now how long the email sending process will take? (feel free to not answer this i'm just kinda nervous about not knowing what to expect) (also as far as i know you're doing awesome so far hope you have a good day)

are we supposed to get a confirmation email after applying? or will there just be one saying if we got/didn't get in?

What are you looking for in the applicants pieces?

There is no specified criteria, we are open to a variety of materials! However we do have some preferences, such as a focus on finished pieces with backgrounds, and for writing, pieces under 200.

how will people be informed if they did or didnt get in? by email or by discord? i just dont check my email as often as i probably should and want to know if i should be checking it.

By email! We will update on the progress, so everyone knows if they all been send :)

By when will applicants know if they’re accepted?

2-4 days after applications close, but if there’s delay it should take not longer then week.

I’m super excited for this zine!! I love the theme and I’ve started getting back into the dream smp so this is wonderful. I wish I could apply because I have some ideas but I’m not confident enough in them. Maybe one day.

Is there a general theme for the zine or is it just the dsmp as a server?

The general theme is home. Any interpretation of home from characters point of view to your own.

If there’s any misunderstanding around the theme we will elaborate more.

is it alright to upload less than 5 pieces for finished work, or is it preferred to have some WIPs If there aren't enough works willing to be shared?

WIPs are allowed we just prefer finished works.
