hi! i hope you’re having a good night! i was wondering what the significance of crowleys blue shirt and red tie in the 1941 flashbacks mean? they usually wear all black, so i was just wondering if it meant something :)

It meant that Crowley was not going to let anyone mistake him for a Blackshirt during WW2.

hi @neil-gaiman , I hope this post finds you well. i have watched S2 quite a few times and browsing on the internet I've encountered many different opinions about this - also I don't even know whether this question has already been answered before, in which case I'm sorry to bother!

but the thing is: in this scene crowley is told "you're a good lad", to which they answer "I'm not actually, neither". so my question is. of course we know he's not a lad, but is the reason because being a demon they're not a specific gender or because they're genderless as a being?

I know it's probably not clear so I'll try to explain myself better. is crowley not a lad because they're a demon and demons (as well as angels) don't have a gender - since they're not humans, or are they not a lad because crowley as an individual doesn't have a gender?

I really hope you can clear things up because I've seen people referring to them with all pronouns (which made me very happy to see) and I was wondering whether that was canon or not! thank you so much for an eventual answer 🙏🏻
