Moving!

My husband and I are moving to Florida! :-) I’ve been offered and accepted a job in Tampa! Goodbye New Hampshire! You can keep the snow. We will be spending winters in the sun! :-) tombesouslecharme

I've been married to this wonderful man for almost 1 year! :-) We met on tumblr; living 1/2 a world away from one another. We overcame every obstacle to be together. I fall in love with him more everyday. He's my best friend, and my soulmate. He makes me a better man. I love waking up every morning and seeing his beautiful smile. I love holding him every night as we fall asleep. I can't help but look at him and know that I'm a very very lucky guy. :-)

I’ve never enjoyed Christmas. I honestly tend to be a Scrooge. All the fa la la just gets on my nerves. It’s not because I’m a jerk or anything… I just don’t have any fond memories of Christmas. When I was a kid it was always full of stress. I wish I had those fond “family togetherness” memories..

The Supreme Court has denied petitions in all seven cases challenging state bans on same-sex marriage, bringing marriage equality to five states.

"The decision not to take on the appeal in any of the pending certiorari petitions brings marriage equality to Indiana, Oklahoma, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Utah. It also makes the appeals court decisions striking down the marriage bans in those states the law of the land in the 4th Circuit, 7th Circuit, and 10th Circuit courts of appeals — a result that makes marriage equality likely to come in short order in all states within those circuits."

Christmas 2014

I've never enjoyed Christmas. I honestly tend to be a Scrooge. All the fa la la just gets on my nerves. It's not because I'm a jerk or anything... I just don't have any fond memories of Christmas. When I was a kid it was always full of stress. I wish I had those fond "family togetherness" memories.. I'm looking forward to Christmas this year. My husband and I are going to the UK to visit his friends and family. I'm looking forward to a happy Christmas. I'm excited for the chance to spend time with, and get to know my new family. I can leave the crap here and enjoy myself.
