This is my territory | by: { Ivan Kislov }
the question of my life.
This feeling. I've never been able to describe it to myself or my counselor so eloquently. I do remember a time when this didn't dominate my soul. It was when my imagination was all I needed.
Remember the woods were God’s first temples.

After two months, roughly, I have so many mixed emotions about moving. Giving up a career to start another one that I don't have a background in. Moving away from friends who, though quirky, I understood. At the same time I realize my previous career was not leaving me fulfilled. I had a strong desire to move, explore and gain new experiences. Also had strong calling to go back to my 'blue collar roots'. In the midst of all the voices of doubts and ideals, I have to see this journey through. Out of curiosity. What options will open up? Where will I go? The honey moon is wearing off. But there's a bigger picture and mystery to hold on to.
Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.
