while B would be deleted, A may get through. however, should A go on to insult mitsuba fans even further, i would probably delete that too. a small bit of criticism is fine; too much and you’re ruining the vibe. please keep your asks confined to nontoxic language as possible, ty

I know this is an unpopular opinion but the newer jshk art style is so much better than the old one in my eyes. When they switched out making pictures stand out with flowers by just making them look really pretty latched onto my heart; even if that one’s not all that recent. and the way the thick outlines warp around the characters and how they lend themselves to the shading has my heart. The inclusion of shading- and detailed shading at that- is just breathtaking. It feels like they took everything that helped the beautiful art style stand out at first and multiplied it by 11. The only change I don’t really feel great about is how they sacrificed a lot of the more unique facial features to make the characters more expressive, I mean I get the reasoning and it seems like they didn’t change the adults too much but I’m not a big fan of when characters look that similar
i push too much expectations on the anime. i keep getting disappointed when my favorite scenes aren't done "justice" or don't come off as impactful as the manga. honestly, i brought this upon myself. i keep deluding myself thinking that if some scenes were good in previous eps surely it will get better. sigh* seeing their limited budget, i shouldn't expect so much from it or blame the team. it's still good but will probably never live up to what I want from it....
i just came back to the fandom and i noticed an issue in recent posts of the tag but i didn't want to post about it since i don't really interact here a lot. so i found this blog and thought to send my thoughts here as a confession
it's rude for a person to send asks about THEIR aus and hcs on other people's blogs unprompted. especially if they are really long and detailed. at best it comes across as tone deaf and puts the owners of those blogs in an uncomfortable position, but at worst it feels like that person is doing it on purpose so their ideas are in popular blogs instead of just making posts about them on their own blog
i really don't think these people had bad intentions but it still feels weird to me but i don't know if i'm exaggerating or not....

Man I'm so sad Aoi & Akane far shore scene didn't quite hit like the manga to me......I'm not sure what, it was alright, the animation was good, but it didn't feel as impactful.
I'm a bit scared for the Teru and Akane confrontation next week.....hope it will surpass my expectations as of now (no coloring effect for immersion in the shot we got from where they got off as of now).
Does anyone else think it's insane that SakuHiko is one of the canon pairings but Natsuhiko's interactions with Sakura are so weird only a very small part of the fandom enjoys them?
Their official arts are good and they even get some interesting stories in twitter AUs, but AidaIro fumbled their romantic chemistry so badly in canon those are completely overlooked beyond "wow Sakura looks really pretty here" (she always does but that's not the point)
I think they were going for a loyal knight x princess dynamic but sometimes it shows like that and other times it's just Natsuhiko being annoying about women
i kind of like tsumitsu. it's interesting to think about how those two would somehow get together?? or even just be friends. you all know what happened in ashk lmao imagine if they tried to date!! expand your minds!!! be creative!!!!
