I need more of Shijima interacting with Hanako I feel there's so much to explore there. The way Shijima fucking hates him but the only opinion we know Hanako has of her is that he hates her fake worlds. Hanako grants wishes and Shijima gives people lives they could only wish for. Mei not giving up hope and staying strong in the face of death vs Amane "not going anywhere". Shijima's rumor became popular because the students made up that Mei killed herself vs Hanako's murder-suicide not being mentioned at all in his rumor. The parallel with their respective knives that gets more emphasis in the anime. Before Mitsuba, Shijima was the mystery Hanako was closest in age. Their way of talking to/about the living as mysteries is eerily similar. Etc.

i dont really like mitsubas design,,, its way too pink for me and its such an awful one at that,,, like it couldnt have been pastel pink??? it couldnt have been a nicer shade??? instead we get this whatever pink like ew 🤢 i love pink femme designs on both men and women and anyone but this one is just ugly,,,and yeah whatever accuse me of being homophobic or something because the bleeding pink burns my eyes lol

I wish Ao-Chan would openly match Akane's freak 🤚 Ik she gets jealous/upset as the prospect of him being with someone else (aka Lemon and Nene), and that she likes how their names match.... And the whole staring at him through her window as he studies... But I want Ao-Chan to be freaky !!! Let her blush when he beats people up for her... Let her state random totally specific facts about him. Let her be a proud hypocrite!!!

And I know she resents him because of his secret as a Clock Keeper 😓 And is just waiting to prove to herself that Akane's love is not real... But I'd think it would be funny if she read the more random things as romantic. And then the truly romantic gestures as falsehoods.

I don’t think “there aren’t enough interactions between women” is a good excuse for tbhk fans ignoring yuri ships, because Nene has unique dynamics with multiple women throughout the series. Her complex friendship with Aoi, rivalry with Sakura, her arc with both the Meis. We also have Aoi and Mei as a canon-ish ship in HKOM, and the queer subtext between Mei and Mei. There are many rarepairs too if you’re into those. There are plenty of women to ship, people just don’t want to put the same effort into analyzing those dynamics as they do with fanon yaoi ships like Terukane and HanaKou
