(THIS IS A ROLEPLAY/ASKBLOG)
Good evening, This is my first and likely only Tumblr blog. You may use this for online submission of statements, however I remind any that do: you will not receive the same research input quality as if you came personally.
…Outside of that, I might possibly use this as a medium to ensure communication with my employees.
Tim is cleaning up his desk by the end of the workday, sliding copies of statements Jon has recorded to transcribe at his house. Despite any rumors about him, he was actually rather neat and took pride in the sorted selection of small figurines he displayed upon his desk. It’s repositioning one of the trinkets that had fallen which causes him to look up at Jon, who was standing ominously beside him with the look of a school teacher going “I’ll wait.”
“Oh—Jesus, Jon!” Comes Tim’s startled proclamation.
“Did you forget?” The center of Tims momentary fright asks. “Nope. And I didn’t forget about the fire extinguisher either—” He crouched down to carefully pick the thing up from under his desk, god knows how he acquired it. “—so you can’t have a row with me today.”
“…Alright. Are you quite done?”

“Let me see.” Tim replies, looking down at a nonexistent watch in an extended joke, looking up at Jon and then back at his bare wrist. “Oh, I’m afraid i’ll be another three seconds, boss. Sorry about my inconvenience.”
Tim hauls the extinguisher up, holding it to his chest while his other arm occupies itself holding his bag. He nods with his chin for them to begin walking.
“Why are you so eager, anyway? Not to, err, well…it’s not like you’re falling over yourself with concern for him.”
”I care.” Jon scowls. He does, as anyone would for a sick co-worker. No, he’s not weeping for the man but he does hope he gets better, obviously. At least so Tim could stop whining about it.
“I don’t know, I think it just got in my head.” He hates to admit, but he’d always been a tad anxious. “You know, the uh—” “Anons?” “…Yes. The anons.” Especially after what happened as a child. He was keen to ignore the paranoia it gave him back then, and how it's lasted still.
“Mm…Yeah. Err…did you remember to bring soup?” He prods, not wanting to get into the concerning fact of Jon’s anxieties, and frowning when Jon shows a canned soup.
He silently resolves to make fresh stuff for Martin.
“I keep telling Sasha, “He has a heart!” and you know, boss, even just this shows that!” Tim says, cheerily. Jon makes a comment about ‘You’d’ve complained if I hadn’t.’ but Tim sees through that.
The rest of the walk is mostly quiet, interrupted by Tim’s attempts to play “I Spy” l and the like, at some point on the way there Tim sees a little white caterpillar thing, but Jon gets him to ignore it by sounding profoundly irritated. “Let’s just get going, Tim…”
The way inside has Jon noticing more of the little bugs outside the flat, but he chooses to write them off as no more than a seasonal thing.
Jon had never been, but he’d known where Martin lived from some of the paperwork—he’d taken to reading it after the mans employment had been thrust upon him rather than cherry-picked personally like Tim or Sasha.
Up a flight of stairs, Jon now grows uncomfortable, and it just because of his terrible knees, some of the little white insects they saw before were on the stairs. He supposes it cant be helped, sort of like flies, but it doesn't make his mind spin any slower at the reminder of what the Anons had said.
Jon has never wanted to be proven right less.
On the second floor of the building he sees…a lot more of the bugs, collecting in a mass against a door, all while pressed against a weird shape that almost seemed human, though looked closer to infested meat. It hummed more than buzzed, but it didn’t soothe him.

No, no. Obviously not. I’ve just, those anonymous people, you know, they told me to bring some. I’m not sure why, but I’m inclined to listen.

Right, I suppose I’d keep a miniature garden for you in one of those portable fish containers that are actually quite awful for fish, and keep you at my desk. Perhaps you could still help with some cases somehow?

While I was working in the research department, Tim got hired. Apparently everyone else heard of it before I had and opted not to train him, some rumor gone around about journalists or something, so I got stuck training him.
He was a real wonder, though, took so nicely to the whole thing I barely had to do much actual training.
MARTIN'S DYING??
What? I’m not sure exactly what he’s ill with but I’m fairly sure he’d tell us if it were fatal.
Tim left early right when Martin got sick, obviously Martin doesn't contribute much but it’s a pain to be down two employees.
