the sound of her window lock being tampered with snaps her back to reality, the pages of her diary slamming shut. she sits up in her bed, clamoring to get to her feet. eyes widen for a moment, the surprise she feels written across her face. but she shoves it down, trying to maintain her composure. even now, she still wants him to think she’s cool. “ take the hint. ” she spits, tone laden with indignation. “ and get out of my room. ”

a smirk peels his face raw, so sure is he of her forgiveness. you’re mine — and I am yours, so let’s skip to the fucking good part!

“ Ah. It’s because I didn’t do the whole … he gestures above his head … boombox playing a romantic serenade. My apologies. ” He isn’t even close to serious, and he steps through the now unlocked window with ease, surveying with smug satisfaction. “ C’mon. ” JD takes a step closer, his tone not yet desperate, but close. It’s been days of this infernal game, and his patience grows thin.

anyways the most obvious inspirations for jd are holden caulfield and Travis bickle. Holden and his distaste for anyone he considered phonies, apathy for his future and the future of society like. “Here is a man who would not take it anymore. A man stood up against the scum, the cunts, the dogs, the filth, the shit, here is someone who stood up.” IF THAT IS T JASON WAY OF THINKING.
