“nothing practical. i wanted a quiet place with trees. you live around here, don’t you?” when surprise faded, all that was left was to feel comfortable. he nearly forgot who he was, and asked jasper if he wanted to grab a bite to eat. but that didn’t mean restaurants anymore. hadn’t in a long time. “there are too fucking many of us here. you’re the first one i don’t mind seeing, if i’m being honest.”
“yeah, my family and i have lived her for a few years now,” he nodded, glad that the newest addition to the supernatural population of forks wasn’t another potential threat. it had been a while since he’d seen the other, but he’d always liked his company. despite not knowing each other extremely well, jasper always felt like ronan was one he could relate to. “i could say the same about you,” he chuckled, understanding his distaste for some of the other occupants of forks. “it’s gotten rather crowded here, lately. but there’s always room for old friends.”
