I wrote this forever ago and finally got off my ass and finished it. Essentially wanted to do something a bit more upbeat, anthem-y and ultimately the distilling of the fight for the artistic youth culture against the drudgery of modern bureaucratic life that is JSRF.
I guess it’s why I love the games so much. Besides being stylish as fuck, they really represent something really freeing.
I’ve owned this game since I was like 8 and I have never once beaten it. Gum is def one of my favorite characters tho and yeah i know i messed up her skates so… ye.

Jet Set Radio was as awesome as JSRF. It was definitely simpler, but it was just as fun.
My jaw hit the floor when the Rob Zombie remix played for the first time. Dragula was in SO MANY games back then.
The end was actually less weird than JSRF.
Jet Set Radio Redesign Project 8/19: Boogie
Boogie’s design didn’t bother me in JSRF but I ADORE her design from JSR. Still did my best to honor both in my redesign.
Jet Set Radio Redesign Project 9/19: Jazz
God I love Jazz. She’s so cool and easily my favorite gal on the GG’s (second favorite GG in general and easily the coolest in my opinion). She’s also the first character I got to redesign that’s exclusively from JSRF so I only have one reference to pull from instead of two.
Jet Set Radio Future is what got me into gaming and I love it to this day. Yoyo was always my favorite character. WAITING FOR THAT RERELEASE SEGA!!!
