Activism and protest is so happening now, Hong Kong Protest on China, because they want China to withdraw the latest rules that they are going to implement which is extradition from Hong Kong to mainland China. This is also because of Hong Kong and China have been living under a rare system which is “One Country Two Systems” where Hong Kong would enjoy "a high degree of autonomy, except in foreign and defense affairs". As China is coming out with this new rules, and Hong Kong is very angry about this, they claimed that if this rules is successfully implemented in Hong Kong, this would cost Hong Kong to sort of like losing their standing, even though China claimed that extradition will only happened to people who are religions, people who break rules, or criminal offensives. This protest is watch and followed closely by all the people around the worlds, even though it is not the first time happening already.

This protest is even brought up by an e-Sport player during the Blizzard post game interview after the tournament and he was punished by the Blizzard company for doing so. This is when all players over the world start to be worried about Blizzard company, and trying to cancel their subscription to the Company, especially “Overwatch” Gamer. As the game is well-known by western country and most of their major player too. When this case happens, Blizzard Fans and workers felt that, this action is a bit too extreme, so they are having a protect at their office in Irvine, where they are saying “Every Voice Matter” while holding an umbrella, which is a symbol of Hong Kong protester. After this incident happened, the League of Legends company CEO have stand out and said, They are focusing more on player, game and sport, and he hope that everyone keep their opinion to themselves, and they have refrain to their casters and players from discussing such topics during the event or on air. this is like they are begging everyone that please do not destroy their market and population. GUYS PLEASE KEEP YOUR OPINION TO YOURSELF!!!
In my opinion that, activism and protest sometime can be good, sometime it can be bad. It is totally depending on what are the citizen are protesting about. For example, Singapore is now still always passing out petition against NUS student. The story is all about a boy from NUS university, is molesting a girl in the MRT, and this case was brought up to court, but they boy got away from getting any hard punishment because he have good grade in the University. Such BULLSHIT?! Grade is not everything PLEASE! This is also not the first case that happen in Singapore now, there were cases like boy molested 8-year-old girl or 13-year-old girl. Oh my god, Singapore boy is that bastard? Have some respect to girl please.. I did not know about this case until i saw a YouTuber posted video about this petition, and i started to look into all the cases that have been happening in Singapore, which i found out that, most of the case was just a light punishment because all of them is doing good with their studies. But, Singapore prime minister have also stated that
So, Molester is a sense should have face their serious judgement. not only light punishment, they will never learnt their lesson.
Back to the question on, will we go out to join the activism and protest or we will just stay at home and watch people doing the protest, i would say that, it depend on what protest and activism are they doing. Not all protest and activism is surely a good things. For example, Sarawak for Sarawakian want to pull Sarawak out from the Malaysia, but i do think that it is a weak opinion, people need to think about the Currency, the Rules, the Army or military and power that might come to claim us, it might be good idea to do so, because they want to be like Singapore, where such a tiny country that could be overtaking us in term of technology. But, it might be a different twist for us, if we do so.
